Hi all, MY OP Manager 8 showing wrong Memory utilization and Disk usage information of windows base Hyper V machines. Hey, I am using OP manager 8 and i dont able to backup of my data using mention bellow steps. Start menu -> Programs ->OP Manager -> Data Maintenance -> Backup. Device Template OID already associated
I am trying to create device Templates, I created a Template for Win2003 Web Server and now I am trying to Create a device Template for Win2003 DB server. Problem is, when I try and create the WIn2003 DB server template and query for the OID it indicates "System OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.microsoft.software.1.3.1.2 is already associated to the device package". Of course the OID's are the same as the machine types are the same however the templates have different data being monitored. DB servers monitor different

Can not add 1 ESX server
Good afternoon. We have 4 ESX servers. At all the same credentials. 3 ESX servers added with no problems in the monitoring system (OpManager, Build 8811). After adding a fourth server I get a notice that it is successfully added, but not on the list. Can you please tell how can I fix it?

Unable to list the servers in Opmanager .My prob is not listed in central server
Hi , We have 2 prob and 1 central server. My one of the prob was down on last month .But my opmanger working fine using the one of the prob. now my another prob also down .prob also working fine and central server (web server ) also working fine. Now the issues was all of my server was not shows in opmanger .
Switch Interface shows 0% availability even though its up and showing traffic
I've got a Cisco Catalyst 2960 switch where some of the interfaces show as down when they are not. All of the traffic graphs show traffic (and the user is working fine) but the availability graph shows 0%. Other interfaces on this same switch work fine. It seems to be random as to which show available and which have this issue. Running OpManager 8811 on Win2K3 32-bit

Time stamp on page
Is there an option, or a file I could modify that would allow me to have a time stamp at the top of the page. The reason being is I have the automatic refresh set to every 10 minutes and the monitoring set to poll every 5 minutes. I would like to be able to tell the last time the machine was polled and the last time the page was refreshed. Thanks, Jenn

Hi, if a device is down, i get sms to my mobile (email 2 sms)... but i get 1 sms and that is it. Is there a way to configure OPmanager to send you an alert every 5 minutes untill alarm is cleared? i have thought about setting up the escalation to achieve that but you cannot configure the paramaters in the escalation... and it it a bit confusing... thank you, Levy
Url monitors gives false positives
We have an OpManager with a server that has 16 URL monitors configured (bound to a specific server). We recieve a lot of false positives with the message "Host unavailable" although I have verified using debug-logging on the DNS-server that the actual lookup is successful. Changing snmp precision
We recently purchased some Inrow cooling solutions from APC. Since there was no device template in OpManager i created a new one after downloading the MIBs from APC. When I setup some bulk monitors i noticed that the values output as a 1/10 of a kW or 1/10 deg Cel. This makes the monitor confusing, is there any way to do simple maths on the returned value such as snmp value / 10 to get the actual kW ? thanks Chris

Is there potentially a way to configure a "run program" notification profile to cover three devices, only triggering if all three are unreachable and not triggering if only one or two are down? OpManager 8 can't email distribution list?
Hi all, I have OpManager 8 configured to email me when a device I'm monitoring stops responding, and that works perfectly. When I go to the notification profile and tell it to send a test email, the email arrives immediately. I just had our Exchange admin create a distribution list or distribution group so that I can email more than one person when a node goes down, and when I try to email that group from OpManager, the email does not go through, even though it announces that the email was sent
Folder Monitoring on Localhost Not Working
I am starting off of a clean database on version 8723. I add in the "localhost" (Windows XP Type) as one of the devices and try to associate a folder monitor to it. However, no matter how I set up the folder monitor I do not get any information or alarms. Then after playing with it for a while, I start getting an error saying that I need to configure the credentials for the device, but since it is the localhost I cannot. If I delete and re-add the localhost this message goes away, but I am still
Cisco ASA interface graph not showing
I have configured to monitor Cisco ASA firewall with SNMP polling. I can see the cpu, active connection and availability but I cannot see the interface graph. it is currently blank. what do i need to configure to see the interface traffic in Opmanager. SNMP RO string is tested okay.
