Repeat notifications until clear?
Hi, is it possible to repeat a notification until it is clear? For example, send email notification of a service down every 24 hours until cleared automatically or by admin?
Phantom device in Opmanager - unable to delete
I have a device that keeps reporting in my alarm tap ever few minutes as being down. When I click on this device, opmanager says it does not exist. The server is actually gone. I went ahead and quickly created a server with the same name to see if I can add it and then remove from opmanager. Still did not work. I also noticed if you hover over the name, let's say is called "server1" , with the mouse, a balloon would pop out and say is "server2" I went I head and tried finding server2 and it did not
OPmanger 8811 how to adjust Exchange mailbox stores
If i setup Exchange server 2007 for first type it will ask me to add mail store file names. After the setup how can you adjust the mail store file names. I have 5 storage groups. The mail store files are not in default folder they are in storage group named directory. How do you state it in OP Manager
SVC MIB Manage Engine
I am trying to load the attached MIB file to the Manage engine probe inorder to monitor our SVC cluster. Removing interfaces from multiple devices
Hi, I would like to remove several interfaces from multiple devices monitored by OpManager. Is there a way to do this in bulk, or do i have to go to each device and select and remove the interfaces manually. Ideally i dont want to monitor any interfaces on the devices anymore, i just want to monitor the device so i can reduce the resources used by Opmanager. Is there a way to do this. Thanks
SNMP traps from Cisco wlc 5508
Hello! I have a Cisco wireless controller (5508). This box is sending snmp traps to OPmanager. I want these traps to generate alarms in opmanager when ap's go down. One alarm for each ap. So far so Good. I get this to work with one ap but if several ap's goes down there still be only one alarm (for the last ap that go down). I am using the mib airespace-wireless-mib and use the bsnapDisassociated and bnsapassociated traps to do this. How can i use this traps to understand that it is different ap's

hello, I'm trying to do the initial setup for op manager. I have added a snmp trap destinatino on the nortel bcm name: nortel host address: Ip where op manager is hosted port: 162 snmp version: v1/v2c community string: read I've uploaded and added the mibs to op manager but when I send a test alarm from my BCM .. nothing is showing up in op manager? Am I missing something in the configuration. We are just using the trial version to see if this product will work for us.

TRAP SNMP
Hi, I can't see any traps in unsollicited view. - Traps are received on OpManager server (check with tcpdump) - I can See traps with trapViewer on OpManager server (AdventNet MibBrowser) - SNMP Trace service is up on OpManager server - The device sending traps is managed in OpManager - I Got no snmp trap processor What's wrong? is there any log? how to configure the community string in OpManager server and make sure the traps is set to accept from any host? Difficulty setting up Windows service notification profiles
Anyone notice how difficult it is to setup a notification profile for Windows services, or am I just doing it wrong. I have all of my services that I want to monitor, already being monitored, however when I want to setup a notification profile for this server, I have to go through and pick the services I want to monitor, from a list. This wouldnt be so bad except the fact that they are not listed ALPHABETICALLY. What a PAIN! I have been able to work around it by using an alarm escalation profile,

OpManager not scanning after backup loaded
We are running version 8723 and are having a problem. After we reloaded a previous backup (using only the config backup) OpManager will no longer scan all of the network devices for status. The only one it looks like it usually scans after loading is the closes router (which all other devices depend upon). But that router is up and snmp data is being pulled. Is there any way to refresh or force OpManager to start scanning.
DNS name not display
I have 750 devices being monitored by OPmanager ver 8723. However, some of the devices only display the IP address and some display the DNS name. How to resolve this issue..? regards, anathan

Hey, I am using OP manager 8 and i dont able to backup of my data using mention bellow steps. Start menu -> Programs ->OP Manager -> Data Maintenance -> Backup. Device Template OID already associated
I am trying to create device Templates, I created a Template for Win2003 Web Server and now I am trying to Create a device Template for Win2003 DB server. Problem is, when I try and create the WIn2003 DB server template and query for the OID it indicates "System OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.microsoft.software.1.3.1.2 is already associated to the device package". Of course the OID's are the same as the machine types are the same however the templates have different data being monitored. DB servers monitor different

Can not add 1 ESX server
Good afternoon. We have 4 ESX servers. At all the same credentials. 3 ESX servers added with no problems in the monitoring system (OpManager, Build 8811). After adding a fourth server I get a notice that it is successfully added, but not on the list. Can you please tell how can I fix it?

Unable to list the servers in Opmanager .My prob is not listed in central server
Hi , We have 2 prob and 1 central server. My one of the prob was down on last month .But my opmanger working fine using the one of the prob. now my another prob also down .prob also working fine and central server (web server ) also working fine. Switch Interface shows 0% availability even though its up and showing traffic
I've got a Cisco Catalyst 2960 switch where some of the interfaces show as down when they are not. All of the traffic graphs show traffic (and the user is working fine) but the availability graph shows 0%. Other interfaces on this same switch work fine. It seems to be random as to which show available and which have this issue. Running OpManager 8811 on Win2K3 32-bit
