Hello-- My associate who is responsible for monitoring those non-Windows devices in our organization is having a challenge finding and configuring a monitor for our Linux and AIX devices and has asked me to find out the following: is there is a monitor for the “Used Disk Space measuring in percentage (%)" Thanks, sd
event log or monitor to check non-domain computers that connect to network
Has anyone come up with a way to have OpManager alert if a non-domain computer connects to the network? I know the computer gets a DHCP address for one, but not sure if i can trigger on that.
Interface Graph Reports
Is there a way to get a report showing graphs for certain switch ports? Had a quick look around and can't see a way to select certain interfaces and if I generate a report on all interfaces I only get the first 100 odd rows even though I've select 'Show all'.
Blank Wrapper Consoler
Hi, After installing OpManager & clicking on Finish button. Two windows opened. Readme & one more command line window (wrapper console ID 1846741). The wrapper console is blank & is like that for 20mins & more. Please advice what do i do next to run OpManager.
Downtime Widget not Accurate
I have 2 widgets. 1. "Devices by Downtime" 2. "URLs by Downtime" We had some servers down for 15hrs recently. If the widgets are set to "Last 24 hours" it gives the correct downtime. 15 hours + If I set the widgets to "Last 30 days" they instantly were only down for 8 hours. Is their a reason why this is happening? Thanks, Shawn
Switch Port Mapper
Mine hasn't worked in forever. Long before OpManager 9. When I put in the switch IP and our router or domain controller it doesn't give me the connected devices like it had before. I was wondering if I'm missing something. It gives me the ports, speed, and whether they are up and thats it. Thanks, Shawn

SNMP value manipulation in OpManager
Hi, Just wondering if there is any way to manipulate the data returned from an SNMP query? I’ve had a look around but have not been able to find anything. For example, our UPS’s (Liebert NXR) return values with a multiplier of 10; as such OpManager currently reports 12000W for a 1200W input. It would also be handy to be able to convert degF to degC. Cisco Small Business Switches
Hi Is there device template available to monitor to Cisco Small BUsiness Switch SG 300-28 28 port (SRW2024-K9 V02) through Op Manager. Currently it gets discovered as Cisco Device and CPU, Memory utlization is not monitored and not shown in dials though SNMP credentials successfully connect to the switch. Txs Sanjeev
Can not add a Monitor in Device template of VMware Virtual Machine ?
Hi, All, I want to monitor the hard disk space for all my VMWare Virtual Machine using Device Template, but I can't . OpManager Help (build 9200) says ... "Device Template: The VirtualDevice template can only be applied over the ESX servers or Virtual Machines. This template is different from device type. Configuring notification profiles
Hi, When I try to configure a notification profile, specifically the option to set which services trigger the notification the pop-up window which show the available services is too small and cannot be resized neither a scroll bar, making it impossible to select all available services. It is fixed however with turning on "compatibility view". Using OPM 9200 and IE9

No Trap Parser defined for received trap
Hello, I'm trying to receive readable traps from our Aruba 3200 Wireless controller. I've already loaded every MIB file I could find related to this controller. I've added the MIB files to the MIBSTOBELOADED.CONF file, but somehow the traps are still unreadable. See screenshot. How can I get the traps to appear in readable text instead of OID and Variable Bindings values? Regards, Aico
Create trap processor for VMware power off/on virtual machine
Hi, I'm receiving a lot of unsolicited traps for virtual machines that are powering on and off on 5 of my VDI hosts. I'm trying to create a trap processor for them, but I don't know which OID to use. I've loaded all of the VMWare MIBS I could find, but I'm still not able to create a decent processor. The message that is appearing is something like: The Virtual machine "machinename" on host "esx hostname" is powered on. Any ideas? Best regards, Aico
OpManager - Installing to Demo but No Option to Specify DB Instance?
Installing latest version of OpManager on Windows Server 2008 R2 64-bit, and I'm confused as to why I cannot specify a MSSQL instance on install? Hostname will not allow instance to be specified, and there is no option to use Named Instance similar to other ManageEngine products. Confused what to do here, as most enterprise database servers have more than one instance!

Monitoring IPSEC SA Errors with OpManager
Hi, I have an ASA5520 that terminates 5 IPSEC VPNs and every now and again there is a problem where one SA rekeys improperly and needs to be cleared manually. Usually we do not know about the bad SA needing to be cleared until users call complaining about no service. I don't see a specific monitor for the ASA which allows it to monitor tunnel health. And we have 5 Windows 2008 servers to be monitored. • The usage monitoring CPU, have set the "Processor Information \% Processor Time._Total" of WMI class • The threshold setting: >90 the "number of consecutive 5" •OpManager has stopped to 06:00 to 07:00 every day Right after Opmanager service restarted, some server reports the CPU monitor value wrong. How to install OpManager if AppManager is already installed on same server?
Hello, Well, the title says it all. I have a server with Applications Manager 10 installed, and since it is a powerful server I want to install OpManager on it as well. Is there any prerequisites, precautions, etc.? Applications Manager is using MySQL. hi 1-Why i cannot choose more than one category for ( Report,business view, notification... )? 2- why i cannot select multi device when creating maps to easy move more than one device? 3- why i cannot move the devices when creating maps with arrow key to easy put the device in accurate place? 4- When i put the cursor on the any devices when creating maps, there is no info about the device showing, it is just the name of the device, if i have more than one device with same name its confuse me? thanks

Hello, I would like to know if you plan to add the possibility of using a host name to a dynamic ip address, in future release. Because, as I tested and saw in others topics, OPManager resolve the host name and only store the ip address in his database. So it will not work with dynamic ip address. Thank You.

Support for VMware site recovery manager shadow machines or vim with the same name
Hi We have 2 different data center that are one the dr site for the other. Until now I've connected to OpManager only sex on the first datacenter because I don't know what will happen when I will put in the second. In the second dc there are replica vm for VMware SRM and I would like to know what OpManager will do with those vim. Those are switched off but have the same name of the live vm? Does OpManager recognize those SRM vim in some way?
