OpManager deleteDevice API not working
Hi, I have been working with the OpManager REST API (http://help.opmanager.com/#rest_api), all the GET API's work as expected, however when I use as POST API, the deleteDevice API in particular, it doesn't seem to work. When I post the deleteDevice with the apiKey and the deviceName, I get the following response: {"result":{"message":"Device has been deleted successfully."}} However, the device doesn't actually get deleted. Could someone please advise on the procedure this API takes when deleting
Adding another drive monitor to a system already monitoring multiple drives?
I tried to add another drive monitor to the configuration for an existing Windows server that OpManager was already monitoring. I couldn't find any way to do this other than to remove all the existing monitors of the same type (in this case it was Partition Details of the Device (%)) and then re-add them again. This worked but I lost all the historical trending data for the previously existing monitors. Is there a better way to do this that will preserve the historical trending data that I somehow
Problem adding VMWare Host
By adding a VMWare Host, by Virtualization> Add VMWare Host tab, the message "Device already present in the system", but the host does not appear in the list of hosts vmware, and searching by name only appears a white screen with the message "Error". How should I proceed?
CPU Utilization
Hello All, I have added my DLink 3620 Switch as well as all required MIB file also. My problem is that OpManager didn't get Utilization data so I have changed device template and manually add custom CPU utilization monitor. Custom monitor get all data as its configuration but CPU utilization seems no data available. Please help me to short out.

The Fluidic Interface have some major issues
Hi, Trying to use the new UI (Fluidic Interface) and found that under "home" my "business view" is overlapping the "voumes with most disk usage" widget. How to correct it? Switches - port status differs between Trouble\Attention
I can understand quite how this works but we have a lot of switches we want to monitor. At the moment I have a Cisco Catalyst 2948G and a Cisco Catalyst 2950-48G. For some reason and it seems almost random, some ports come up as Trouble and some as Attention. When I acknowledge and clear the alarms the status goes to Clear and then once the refresh occurs the alert reappears.

Problem with MIB Parsing
Hi, I am trying to add MIBs for Fortinet products we are using. When i try to view one of the mib in OpManager i get an error. Error parsing MIB:FORTINET-FORTIGATE-MIB Exception while loading MIB:Could not parse the file C:/MANAGE~1/OPMANA~1/./mibs/FORTINET-FORTIGATE-MIB. The error occured at the line no: 6805 ,column: 5. 1. The keyword 'ACCESS' or 'MAX-ACCESS'may be missing. or 2. The keyword 'SEQUENCE OF' may be missing. or 3. The syntax with invalid subType construct. I think that the OpManager

Activeconnection value dose not match
Hi All, We added some F5 viprion 2400 devices into OPM in order to monitor CPU、Mem and Activeconnections. However, the CPU of F5 always stuck at 97% and I check the CPU OID matches the MIBs of F5 as given link, but I check the F5 CPU dashboard always display about 25%. In addition, the activeconnection value display a few hundred connections, even 0 from OPM snapshot. However, I use the same OID to get the value about 60K in OPM MIBbrowser, that's so weird. Please give your advice, thx

Dear OpManager developers team, There should be an option under ADMIN TAB of OpManager for "Back-up Scheduling" regarding automated data back-up like we have in ManageEngine Service Desk Plus. dear sir How are you? I would like to ask about Monitoring Servers using Agents under Monitoring in admin page, What information i will get from using this agents? And what if i plan to not using it and just use SNMP or WMI credential, do i loss many data from servers? Is there any traffic or loading on CPU & RAM when using Agents in servers? Cannot perform first login OpManager 11.2
Hi: I just downloaded OpManager 11.2 and installed it under Ubuntu 14.04 Desktop. I didn't install any other components. The ping requirement were met and it appears as though XFree86 is installed. The installation seems to have gone well but I cannot login through a web browser. It is stuck at the License Activation Details page. The browser is stuck in a waiting, loading from... loop. Issue after upgrade OPManager build 11300
Hello, I upgraded my OPManager server with the latest build then I got the following issue: All WMI performance monitors stopped to work. I checked domain account and password, ok I switched to SNMP performance monitors, it is working. I removed WMI monitors and readded them with no good results, not working. I reapplied via templates but no way, it doesn't work. Can you help me to resolve this issue? Many thanks Philippe

VMWare Server Stats not showing after roll back to 10.2
We recently rolled back to 10.2 after an issue upgrading to 11.2 . The last outstanding issue I am unable to resolve is our VMWare servers are no longer statistical data for anything. It does show availability and does show all Inventory details. Also when trying to rediscover the device it display "Error!" Is there a fix for this? Please let me know what additional information you need. VMWare versions 5.1.0 and 5.5
"Hardware health" monitoring is unreliable
I have a Cisco 2821 router, which is reporting a fan failure on Fan #1. OpManager is showing all fans as healthy. The router is reporting this: 149397: Jun 6 09:38:01.041 EDT: %ENVMON-3-FAN_FAILED: Fan 1 not rotating Obviously I can't trust OpManager to report hardware health and I'm going to need to manually check all my equipment now. Device not monitored
Hi all, I have just recently installed OpManager 11 (previosuly I had a working OpManager v9, but I did a complete new install without migration). I want to monitor a remote AIX computer over which I have little control. I can use SSH to connect the that server, so I configured OpManager to use CLI monitoring. As soon as I start OpManager, it seems to correctly fetch the values for disk utilization, memory utilization and cpu utilization, but shortly after I get a red warning in the summary page
Problem URL monitor
Hi. We're receiving alarms indicating that the URL is down because the host is unreachable. the error i receive is: 404: The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. : However, when entering the URL in a browser, i'm able to connect to the site and i can even click on the URL link in OpManager and open the site. What is the cause of this error? Any solution?
Connection loss causes device to be "unmanaged" status.
I have an issue where when a device loses connection, it goes into "unmanaged" state. But when connection is restored, I have to manually go to the devices's page and select "Manage" again. Well this is kind of a headache when monitoring devices spread out across the country over some very unreliable connections ranging from DSL to satellite. Monitoring additional SQL instances
I have an issue when I create a new SQL instance, on a server that already has one (or more) installed. We have a rule which associates MSSQL monitors when it finds sqlservr.exe running. This works, and we get the MSSQL Dashboard View and MSSQL monitors. The problem comes when we install another instance later - no matter how many times we re-run the rule, it will not associate the new instance with the monitors. However if we delete the monitoring for all existing SQL instances, then run the rule,

Cannot login first run Opmanager 11.3
Downloaded OpManager 11.3 free edition and installed it fresh under Windows Server 2012R2 using PGSQL. Installation gone well but I cannot login through a web browser ( IE or Chrome). OpManager widget stops working
When I add the realtime bandwidth utilization widget to the home screen of OpManager, it works fine, but stops working after a few minutes. I've tried deleting it and re-adding but this doesn't help, it continues to stop after a few minutes of getting it added.
ChangeServerBindIP.sh does not work correctly
Hi: I read in a very old forum entry about how to force OpManager to bind to a specific IP for servers with multiple IPs. The old version of OpManager included Apache but the current version no longer works this way. Current version has a script named ChangeServerBindIP.sh in .../bin where I can pass the IP to make this change. My server hosting OpManager has 2 IPs and I want only one of the IPs to be bound to the service. I can run the program when OpManager is not running and conf/loginData.properties
Vcenter monitoring - New Storage Added, Monitoring is greyed out
New storage LUNS for our non-SSD disks have always automatically populated, for our VMware monitoring. We have added many new LUNS now that are listed as SSD disks. Information is not displaying, for any of the performance monitors usually collected, nor is there information listed about disk capacity size etc. I've ensured that my opmanager user has access to http://vcenter/MOB (read only).. MS SQL 2008 on vmware virtual server
OpManager - Essential Build: 11100 I have a virtual machine running 2008 R2 operating system and a MS SQL 2008 instance installed. The virtual server had a problem and i had to delete and re-add back in to OpManager.
