Server down, but OpManager only states "Attention"
Still testing the different states of the OpManager gets when a server has problems. So I turned off one of our servers. This is all I have seen in my e-mail in the last 12 hours Message: Device not responding: Probably down or busy Device: Playfield Category: Server Error Condition: Attention Generated at: Jun 09,2008 04:09:22 PM If a server dies, the status should be Critical! Tested SNMP in the same method. When I kill off the snmpd service, OpManager assumes all services are in their last state.

HyperV host 2012R2 not adding as a hyperV host In Opmanager 11400
We have a Windows hypervisor host running 2012r2. When Opmanger (11400) discovers that server it does not discover it as a vitual device but as a server. I've tried: Rediscovering Deleting the device and rediscovering Deleting the device and adding it as HyperV host and none of those options work. It also seems that we're having some problem displaying views in a timely fashion. Hi, The current OpManager on Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2, SQL Express 2005 & Op10. I've setup a new server Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard, SQL Express 2014, Op11 (i setup this before going through your guide..) May I know can i still follow the backup & restore guide now? Is there any other way for me to migrate the data in the old Op to the new Op? Thank you for the help.

Device availability shows down but response time indicated is 001ms and the server responds to ping
Hi, We have an issue whereby one of our servers is showing Down for the last 7 days, however, the server responds to ping from the OpManager host and OpManager indicates a response time of 001 MS. Additionally the server can be pinged from the ping tool on the server dashboard. Please advise as to how to resolve this issue if possible. Kind regards, Dean
Rhel ISSUE: Does not run after successfully installing!
Dear community, we have been trying to install and run the latest 64 bit ManageEngine on RHEL 6. Everything goes well in installing the latest in the default dir, but at the initial sh StartOpManagerServer.sh, which created the initial SQL tables, we rerun it and it just stops after stating "This OpManager has been licensed to a Free User", as shown at the screenshot. Hi, i have 1 central and 2 probe. I configured on central and on 1 probe Windows Domain Authentication and it work, if i try to configure Windows Domain Authentication on second probe, nothing happens, no error. I have tested the mail server settings and it works, and no matter what I do it keeps coming back to this message. Unable to monitor Per VM Memory usage
I'm currently monitoring two Hyper-V servers and I am able to get most of the relevant monitoring information back apart from memory Usage per VM. In the History Reports > Memory section of the host info I am able to view memory usage, but when I select the 'per VM' checkbox the graph simply shows 'No Data Available'. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Changing Monitored Dial
Hi Everyone, I've followed the directions on how to change the snapshot.xml file to so you can use different graphs on the monitor page. It works for servers and such, but not for a Virtual Device it seems. I have virtual devices that by default, the template shows CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization, and Network Usage. I'd like to change the network usage to show the pie graph of disk usage instead. I've attached a screenshot for an example.

Everytime the process shutdown and restart,... the processes are still down what should I do ? do I have to tick "path" or not (picture one) Does this process monitoring depend of the ID of the process ?

Greetings, Is there some trick to configuring SNMP v3 on the Cisco Nexus 6000 too communicate with OpManager (v. 10, build 10200)? I've configured the account, password, auth and priv settings in OpManager and set them the same on the Nexus, but I get next to no information about the device in OpMan. Am I expecting too much, or should the hardware tab populate and the utilization dials show information? What should I be seeing if everything is set up correctly? Thanks in advance
