URL Monitoring not working
Hi, We are trying to monitor http://www.netselmarina.com/ on OpManager. Site is up but when i hit test URL it returns "The URL http://www.netselmarina.com is down, Reason : Host Unavailable". I checked wireshark outputs, when i hit the Test URL, i get HTTP 303 first and then HTTP 200. I guess it is because of URL redirection? So how can i monitor this URL now on OpManager? Regards,
Orphaned and Missing VM's OpManager 11600
I'm on the latest OpManager 11600, and vm's are becoming orphaned from the vCenter, and some are missing completely. The missing VM's can be seen in the list of VM's under the vCenter, but they are not being managed, and when I manually add them, they do no pick up any VM settings (essentially orphaned from the vCenter).
Removing Default MSSQL Services from being monitored (11600)
I have an vCenter host that has the MSSQL monitoring applied, however it is not running MS Search or SQL Server Agent services. In the previous version i loaded the old UI and removed services no problem. However in 11600, it defaults to the api view when looking at the device snapshot when using the old UI. I don't have any option to remove the services.

Opmanager - CMDB plugin
I am not sure If I have a fault, or if my understanding of the product is wrong. I have installed the CMDB plugin to my Opmanager server. In the admin tab, I have the correct credentials for SDP. If I choose to sync now form the assets tab, it pops up and tells me that the Asset sync done succsessfully. But if i go to SDP, there are no new assets. If I understand the CMDB plugin correctly, it will let me sync all the assets I have added to opmanager over to SDP. Is that right? Thanks Dave
Random Wrapper Crashes
Hi there, We're got a Central / Probe environment running OpManager build 11600 and are experiencing a few problems with wrapper crashing for what seems like no reason. When this happens the central server displays that it has lost connectivity - but it does not email out to the default email group to say that it's lost connectivity to a probe! Cisco 5508 WLC does not monitor anything
Hi, I'm having an hard time configuring my Cisco Wireless Controller for monitoring. Nothing shows up in my Snapshot but SNMP is configured properly. PGSQL Polleddata table too big
i'm using opmanager 11 with pgsql for network monitoring. we have around 200-300 devices, around 2000-2500 interfaces. But PGSQL's polleddata table is too big ( around table size is 60GB, Index size is 50GB) table count is only 3500 rows. because of this big data, our server's hard driver is full. our server is windows 2008. I think it might be BUG issue. How can i solve this issue ?
After updates I can't load Opmanager
After Windows updates and a restart I can't open OpManager. At first I was getting an error about needing to change my port since port 80 was being used. I went and ran ChangeWeServerPort and it changed the port to 9090. No more error but when I open the program a java box prompts me to run but nothing else. I've restarted again and made sure the service was running. What do I need to do? Suggestions?
How is Monitor presentation determined during "Add Monitors"?
When I'm selecting "Add Monitor" under "Device Template" what determines what Monitors are presented? I've attached a screenshot showing what I mean. In my example I've added a couple of mibs for Cisco ASA firewalls and would like to have them presented like this. Instead I have to add my own monitor from the "+SNMP" button. Can I somehow get Opmanager to inspect my custom mibs for monitors to present in the list?

Issue with Notification Profile - Gmail
We are using Gmail's SMTP servers for our notifications. We have configured the Mail Server settings and receive the test email with no issue. However, when we create a notification profile and test it, we receive this error: Exception occured while executing Send Email action. Data is lost in the opmanager
A Linux virtual server installed on VMware, both the "CPU Utilization" and "Memory Utilization" monitors every 15 minutes, but check the detail is observed missing data. In reviewing the dynamic graph for "CPU Utilization", the red box shows the data every 15 minutes, whereas the blue box some polls are lost (see picture CPUUtilization.png). However in "Memory Utilization " by the same time and same server , data were recorded every 15 minutes without loss (see image MemoryUtilization.png).

Xen Server monitoring
Hello People, I'm having trouble when trying to add a Citrix Xen Server machine to the monitor. I was reading that now OPManager supports Xen Server natively and you can add it automaticly like VM Ware. Am I right? VM Ware works great for me, I add the machine IP, create the credentials for VM Ware and click on add. That's it. But with Xen Server, I can't even creat a credential for Xen like I can for VM Ware, and when adding the server It is not recognized as Xen, but Linux server. So it doesn't

Trying to install opmanager trial on a Windows 2012 R2 with MSSQL 2012 installed locally to the box. The Opmanager Install just does not see the SQL instance. If have tried: - local SQL account and Domain account - confirmed port 1433 and a connection is possible via OBDC on same box - every variant of host name I can think of, it should be: SERVICEDESK\MENGINE - the login account is name MENGINE and the password is a complex - 11 character password. OpManager Large Enterprise
Hello, I have an eval version of LEE and I have added two devices. The problem I have is that SNMP has discovered the device type, software version etc.....but it doesn't display a hardware details tab or any interfaces for those devices. We also use the Essentials edition which doesn't have this issue. Any ideas ?? John

This device is presently not reachable - problem
Hi, i'm monitoring about 39 devices, and from time to time i get the message "This device is presently not reachable" " This device is presently not reachable. OpManager will detect and rediscover the device once it is up." i get this on random servers, i monitor centos 6.5 and ubuntu 14 if i ping the message, it works, if i test the login credentials it also works (CLI) but the monitor says , device not reachable, please help

Graphic Incorrect
We have in our OP enabled graphics in Real Time, where we monitor bandwidth consumption and traffic of a particular link. The monitored link is 30MB but notice that the graphics pass of 30MB or 100% when monitored by%. Attached follows evidence of graphics. Could verify, please ?
APC UPS Alert for On Battery
Hello, I receive an alarm in OpManager for my APC UPS devices however I am not finding a way to receive a notification for this alarm. I have setup a notification profile and selected everything available and still nothing. OpManager can obviously see that the UPS is On Battery, but why cant I associate any kind of email notification? Thanks, Chase

Recently I installed OpManager v11600, and I created a custom monitor to monitoring the BGP Peer State for a Cisco Device, then I configured the threshold for critical alarm when the value of this monitor was different of "6". When the value was "1" I received the Critical Alarm, but when I received a value "6" the alarm wasn't cleared. Why ? Performance Database - increase statistics retention
Hi, We have a medium size opmanager setup - 500 devices, 6000 interfaces monitored. We poll most of our metrics each 5 minutes. We have the default retention statistics, so 7 days detailed, 30 days hourly and 1 year daily. our setup is running in a virtualized environment, with 1 VM windows 2012(opmanager server) 4CPU, 8GB RAM, 1 VM for SQL 2008 My network team would like to increase the polling up to 1 minute for network devices(around 100 devices). They also would like to keep the detailed statistics
Alarms not clearing
I've filled out the Support form twice and received zero reply after several days. I phoned the Support line and left a message asking them to contact me and received no reply. I have many monitors which go into alarm status late at night as backup and maintenance processes stress the servers out of hours. Of course, once these processes have finished, the stress goes away and OpManager shows, eg 1% CPU usage. Even though I have a rearm value of 84%, and 1% is less than 84%, the alarms don't clear
