The Opmanager Install just does not see the SQL instance.  If have tried:

      - local SQL account and Domain account

      - confirmed port 1433 and a connection is possible via OBDC on same box

      - every variant of host name I can think of, it should be:  SERVICEDESK\MENGINE

      - the login account is name MENGINE and the password is a complex - 11 character password.

Configured this way the error is "Host name is invalid or not reachable. I have tried

      - \\SERVICEDESK\MENGINE

      - \\SERIVCEDESK

      - \\MENGINE

      - MENGINE

      - SERVICEDESK

Since the local ODBC connects fine, I have no clue what could be wrong.

Any advice?
