OpManager v12 - VIWMI monitors still an issue
Good day We installed and are loving the new OpManager v12, however we came across an issue that affected the previous version as well. The inaccuracy of the VIWMI monitors, specifically the amount of available memory on our Hyper-V hosts. The System device details pulled through the information correctly though. (please see screenshot) Is this something that is prevalent in OpManager, or is it some factor on our side causing this inaccurate reading? There are other instances, like the difference

OpManager only querying SNMP version 1 not version 2c
I was querying a device, but OpManager (latest free version, installed today) only queries in SNMP v1 not v2c, as seen in the packet captures I analyzed. My device doesn't answer SNMP v1 so ignores the query requests. OpManager does not allow me to select v2c since there's no distinct option for that. Am I missing something? Thanks, Keith
Bandwidth Graphing Options with OpManager
If Cisco devices (in my case, older Cisco switches) don't support Netflow, does OpManager offer any kind of bandwidth graphing? I see the "Top 10 Interface Traffic" reports, but I'm looking more for a graph to look at usage over a period of time. Something like PRTG / MRTG / Cacti.... Didn't know if OpManager can go this far, or if Netflow is a requirement to get that level of granularity? Any assistance is appreciated.

How do I recover the side menu bar in OpManager 11?
Somehow the side menu bar vanished and I'm unable to select different views such as Servers, Inventory, Alerts, etc. I'm accessing OpManager in Chrome. I've cleared my cache and cookies and restarted all instances of Chrome.
Opmanager audit usage
We are using Opmanager with SQL Server backend on Windows 2003 Server. Is there a way to find out which user cleared an alarm as we have mulitple admins clearing alarms and need to find out who is doing what as some important alerts are being cleared. Many thanks, John

I've upgraded to 12200 from version 11. I'm struggling to find the same features in v11 for example where is the downtime scheduler etc. There doesn't seem to be an admin tab like the v11.
Discover button broken for IP Mapping ESX server in Vcenter?
Ok, So when I am in the vCenter properties, I see that many of my ESX servers (all the same version) are monitoring, while others are not. When I click the green arrow to start monitoring, I get the IP Mapping screen. This has all of the available credentials except vmware ones, however I have a CLI set up for the hosts, so I select that. What is odd though is that the discover button does not work. Everything else on the page does something, but that button is unresponsive to anything. What am I
Page Layout does not persist between sessions
The "Page Layout / NOC Screen Alignment" feature doesn't seem to persist between User sessions. I have to reset the alignment to "Wide" each time I close and open the browser window.

Stop Importing VM's into OpManager
I have 12.2, and set up my Virtual Center for VmWare. (not hosts). There are quite a few machines on there that I do not want in OpManager (VDI, workstations, etc) that OpManger keeps importing into the configuration and violating the license. How do I make it stop importing all these unnecessary machines? Thanks! -Chris

Sending SMS alert messages
Hello, We have implemented Opmanager around a month ago, everything is working fantastic and the setup for email alert is simple! I also want to setup alerts by SMS, i registered a clickatell account and put in the user and API settings in Opmanager. However when I make a notification rule and i click on test, Opmanager freezes for about a minute but nothing happens and no SMS messages are sent. Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong? We are running the latest version of Opmanager

SSH drop out of nowhere
Good day I received notification from our info security team that there was an attempted SSH drop from one of our OpManager probe servers to an external IP address. It hasn't happened since which is a cause for alarm (if it happened more than once, we would imagine it was a scheduled job or something). Can you please advise what could be initiating this connection, i.e. what feature I need to look at in OpManager that could send these SSH drops? Thanks in advance. Regards, Mat
Dashboards in version 12.1
We have recently upgraded to 12.1 and I am trying to replicate the Dashboards and CCTV views I had in the older version. How do I resize and position the widgets in the new version? I can't seem to get the layout I need as the widgets just put themselves where they want and I am unable to re-size and move them. Also the Google map widget is very small and i need to be able to re-size that so that I can get all our remote sites on the map.

Custom Monitor graph to Dashboard
Hi all, I wonder is it possible to add custom monitor graph to dashboard. Tried to do that through Inventory -> Tick the server -> Generate Reports, however I cannot see the custom monitor in the list. HI, all Vcenter cannot discovery VMware ESXi server in Opmanager 11.6 , I've added vCenter for monitoring via VMware protocol ,But all virtual machines is discovery successfully . OpManager 12 Process Monitors
Is there a way for me to create a template that will add all running processes into the process monitor? We have been tasked with adding all desktops into OpManager and the main thing everyone wants to see is all the running processes and the resources they are using. I know I can add a desktop...go to process monitors...click associate...and select all. Is there a way to make this a template where all running processes are automatically added?
OpManager Probes Polls Per Second
Is there an optimum or best practice for the polls per second/load that is put on a probe before we add another probe into the environment? Is there a specific number we should aim for or not go over.
Unmanage interfaces is not working anymore
Hi, I used to unmanage interfaces before and it worked. Currently I have 2958 interfaces in unmanaged state. I need to add ~1500 to these. However, when I mark the interfaces I want to unmanage and click "unmanage" - nothing changes. I have a nice note on the top: "Interface unmanaged successfully" but there's no result. Hello Everyone I can not integrate Opmanager 11600 with Servicedesk Plus 9204 No Firewall is setup Username and password is valid .I can not in as local auth to SD I have also tried domain auth but it also do not work technical key is generated in SD on account administrator During configuration I am getting error Servicedesk is not running I can open servicedesk web page port 80 from opmanager server No sure what can be wrong Can anyone help me with this issue Thanks
Op Manager monitoring issue.
Op manager has identified a vm that is reporting down. but its up. i have firewall rules to allow Op manager to vm. Op manager does not issue a alert reporting it down but it does show it down on its webpage. also it lists trouble on both network interfaces below. does any one know what this means and a possible resolution to it? this just started happening recently and previously never had this issue.

Hello and namaste....I have just reinstalled V11 so it connects to my V11 MSSQL database, now I want to take it up to V12. Can someone please tell me the best way so I can carry on using my MSSQL database (all my devices are setup in there etc) thanks in advance
