Couple Feature Questions for Version 12200 - Capacity Planning/CSV's/Dynamic Disks
Good afternoon, i have a couple questions that i would like some assistance with, 1. Is there any feature/addon or report that shows Capacity Planning within Op Manager Version 12200? 2. Is there a Hyper-V report/dashboard that shows Dynamic Disks and how much space they have allocated, currently using, and max size? 3. We have a four node cluster using CSV's and wanted to know if there was a way to monitor the CSV size and alert accordingly. I see a script for version 11200 but not for version 12200?
IPAM query - reserving of IPs
Good day In OpMan v12 I have IPAM setup and want to reserve IP addresses for a load balancer config. There used to be an option to change the availablity status of an IP in the previous version of IPAM - is there none in the updated version? How would I reserve an IP in IPAM and ensure no one else uses it? Regards, Mat

File monitor and notifications
Hello, I have setup a file monitoring template, and have associated it with a couple of devices. But I can't figure out how to associate it with a notification profile. File monitor is not listed in the criteria for profiles. In my testing the alarm is triggered as expected when I remove the file. But how do I configure notifications when the alarm is triggered? OK, this seems to be a challenge for everyone. I would like to use the "Add VMware" feature with OpManager but am running into problems. Ive attempted many times to "Add VMware" but receive an error in the middle of the discovery stating "VMWARE VCENTER DISCOVERY DISCARDED DUE TO DUPLICATION OF UUID FOR MORE THAN ONE HOST" Upon my initial case creation with OpManager support, I was provided with a KB article from VMware whcih stated to reach out to the host hardware manufacture for support regarding

Does not find any Network Cards
How do I get OPManager to show information on my NIC's? I am using the evaluation version. I have added a several Servers, and it will not display any NIC information? Do I need to install an OpManager agent on the servers? I have WMI and SNMP configured, and I can successfully ping them using SNMP. I have tried restarting the endpoint, restarting the SNMP service, Server rediscover etc. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
No Switches available in SPM

Issue with DNS Resolving in Build 12200
Good morning When we installed OpManager 12200 we had an issue with the DNS Reverse Lookup which meant that lots of machines were showing up with their IP Address instead of the resolved name. We have now resolved the DNS issue and tested this via the DNS resolver, which works, however the monitored machines are still displaying the IP Address. Rediscovering the machine does not change anything. Can i force OpManager to resolve the IP of the monitored machines or do i need to delete the

I'm looking for the best way to configure monitoring alerts ONLY for when the router/switch/ISP/Power is down/unreachable. I'm in the process of setting up thresholds, templates, and alerts but had to disable temporarily as were getting many email alerts. Ill eventually re-enable alerts for CPU, Mem, buffer, tempatyre, packet loss etc.... We have over 30+ branch offices and our primary way we would like to monitor is by getting a CRITICAL ALERT/email notification if the router uplink is unreachable.

Hello I did a clean install to opmanager and first added vmware and I let it discover its vm-s. It only discovers certain vm-s based on i don't know what and i cant add other vm-s to monitoring that don't have snmp because it requires credentials. So my question is how did vcenter added several vm-s to monitoring and others not(without snmp)? So I got my vcenter monitoring with several vm-s. And it stops at 26 ( i have 40sthing vm-s really). 200 interfaces issue
Hi everybody, I am trying to clear our monitoring system. When I try to unmanage uneeded interfaces I am getting error: "Please select less than 200 Interfaces". Is it possible to change the limit in the settings/registry or I need to go straigh to the DB? Thank you, Pavel
NetFlow error notification: No interface found.Device Adding Failed
The device has passed the SNMP credentials. The device was also in NetFlow before but was removed. Trying to re-add the device but getting the notification, "No interface found.Device Adding Failed". I only have 2 Netflow interfaces allowed to be monitored. Im not monitoring any at the momenet. So my question is, how do I add and remvoe interfaces to Netflow. Im using OpManager V.12 with Netflow/Flow analysis already added on.

ManageEngine Opmanager Service account user requirement
We were told that ManageEngine Op manager service account needs Domain Admin or Local Admin wrights, this is a problem as we don't wish to grant Domain Admin wrights. I have checked and its network remained perfectly fine (Its connected to an internal network on one nic and the internet via another port) and its Event Log shows no issues with network connectivity. Hyper-V Orphaned VM's after Dynamic Optimisation
Good afternoon I have successfully discovered our 4 node cluster and all VM's attached to these however i have come across an issue where the VM's will become orphaned if they move Host. We use Dynamic Optimization and the VM's will automatically move Hosts if the current host becomes overloaded.
