OpManager Window Scaling Issue
I'm currently doing a demo of OpManager and I'm running into a minor problem / annoyance. Whenever the window is maximized, it will not scale to the width of the browser. However, if I keep the browser un-maximized, I can stretch it to the width of my screen and it will scale properly. It is only when I maximize the window that it snaps into what appears to be a fixed width. Here are some screenshots that might explain the issue better. I also check using public site uptime to find out it is really up or not from various outside server. Ethernet Interface Template Changes to not overwriting existing interface settings
Hi All, We have an issue where the changes we make to the Ethernet Interface template are not correctly applying to existing interfaces. We are taking the following steps as per the attached screenshots. However, after disabling monitoring of the discard rates, and changing the threshold of the utilization to be able 90%, we are still getting e-mail alerts when the threshold on interfaces goes over the default level of 30%, and still getting e-mails about discard rates, which we do not want to get.
SNMP is matched but test credential always failed
Good Afternoon ManageEngine, Since many days ago, I am attempting to check the connection between my servers and OpManager but the connection always failed. I checked my snmp community, my ssh credentials also firewalls and IPtables are disabled on the server. but still have the same result. I used mibbrowser tools and see that the problem looks like connections timed out. Nevertheless both servers can receive and sent ICMP packets. Can anyone help me, how do I resolve it ? Good Afternnon Team ManageEngine, Since many days ago, I am attempting to establish a communication between my linux servers and OpManager, I checked my snmp community, both device can send and receive ICMP packet's(Ping) but the result of test credentials is failed. Duplicate Interfaces
Build Number 12100 OpManager is showing duplicate interfaces on devices. Specifically I'm working on Cisco CAT 4500X switches. I have seen up to 7 duplicates of each interface. I have tried rediscovering the devices, and also deleted the devices and re-added them with no change. Any thoughts? I would rather not have to delete 1000+ interfaces manually every time each switch is rediscovered.

Hi, I have a server in opmanager (11600) Which is reporting 100% CPU all the time, it's a backup DC and literally does nothing. Have monitored it though task manager and it just ticks over. Have tried doing a rediscover on the server, but no joy. Is there anything else I can try? Hope you can help.

[Question] Cisco Switch Stack monitoring - no alerts for single failed switch in a stack
Hello, most of our switches in our environment are Cisco stackable switches. And because of their inherent redundancy, if a single switch in the stack fails, OpManager never alerts us when this happens. The switch stack is still operational / pingable as far as OpManager is concerned. Is it possible to monitor and send alerts when a switch in a stack goes down?

I recently added a bunch of servers to OpManager 12.2 and this is first time seeing these errors. This one server has a ton of these showing up on the daily event reports. Any idea's on what's causing this? We set up the server the same as we have done hundreds of times. We use snmp community string. It's a brand new build so I'm not sure what would cause this. OpManager showing Windows NT Service down but no Monitor is set up for the service
I have an alert for a Windows NT Service down on one of my servers being monitored by OpManager however the service no longer exists. I went to the Server and chose the monitors option however there were no violated monitors showing for services and the service that went down was not listed under the Windows Service monitors. Should I be looking somewhere else? Any assistance would be appreciated. I am currently running OpManager v12.2 that was an in place upgrade from v11.

Hello, we're using OpManager 11600 and I have had this issue for some time now. It just recently became a real pain. We have a number of Virtual Machines which are regularly powered off and on for maintenance and we have noticed that when Virtual Machines are powered off or migrated we receive several alarms for each device. OpManager 12200 Slowness
Hey guys, I'm running a new installation of OpManager monitoring ~250 devices. Sometimes when I'm adding in URL monitors, service monitors, and devices the websites will time out and just freeze. Then after it freezes I am unable to get to the website at all for some time. Are there any performance configurations that I need to put in place? Can I add more RAM to the java application or anything? Do I need to change something to run in 64bit mode instead of 32bit? Any advice would really be

Alarm_ID increments by one even when clearing original alarm
So, we're using VictorOps to handle our pager system, and its being fed via JSON generated by OpManager. We're trying to track multiple individual alarms from a single device, I was hoping to do so by alarm_ID, however, alarm_ID increments by one both when the original alarm condition is generated and when it is cleared. Why? Why are alarms not tracked by its individual ID and cleared that way? And if that cannot be worked around, is there a better way to track both the generation and resolution

Cannot install OpUtils if OpManager is installed, and vice versa
It appears I can eitehr install OpManager or OpUtils, but not both. Regardless of which on I install first, I get an error message. For example, if I install OpManager first, when I try to install OpUtils I get the message "an earlier version of OpUtils is already installed on this system. Uninstall that instance and then install the current version." If I install Optuils first and then try to install OpManager, I get the message "an earlier version of OpManager is already installed on this system.

Auto Closing of Tickets in SDP through OpManager
Hi Team, SDP 9209 is integrated with OpManager 12000 build. When alarm comes in OpManager, SD is generating ticket for that threshold breach. But when alarm clears in OpManager, SDP ticket remains open. AutoClosing is not happening. Is this feature supported in OpManager ? This has to be because its a basic requirement. Monitoring Linux Server with CLI
Hi, I am using OpManager v12.2. When adding a Linux device to monitor with CLI credentials, I find that disk, cpu and memory utilisation monitoring is only available if the CLI credentials are set to use telnet protocol only. With SSH, I just get basic ICMP information only(availability, packet loss, response time). I have enabled both SSH protocols v1 and v2 on the Linux device but it makes no difference. Obviously, I would not want to use telnet if it all possible. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Uninstall OpManger 12.2 from Linux
I'm attempting to uninstall a test instance of OpManager 12.2 on a RH 6.9 Linux system. I've rebooted the system and made sure there are no OpManager services running, When I run ./uninstaller.bin I receive an error telling me "This application requires a Java Run Time Environment" and to use the switch "is:javahome". I've tried every combination but I keep receiving the error. Java is where the OpManager installer put it in "/opt/ManageEngine/OpManager/jre/bin". OpManager installed and worked
