Monitoring Juniper
I talked to the support team regarding the Juniper devices and realized that OpManager currently does not have Juniper MIBs. So, either we have to manually download and install each MIB which is very time consuming or wait for the next version that contains all the Juniper MIBs but there's no ETA. Does anyone have any additional information or updates on this? I'm so disappointed because I was told Juniper devices are fully supported with OpManager before the purchase and now I'm told they're

Memory Utilization by java.exe
After i would say a week of uptime i notice that i am not getting on the home page any type of "Servers with high CPU..." or Routers with high Memory ..." and at the same time i no longer seem to get any notifications of faults. During this time i also get no reporting on interface utilization ect... I then remote into the server and notice that java.exe is using over 1GB of ram. The processor seems fine but memory only has around 50MB free. This is obviously the problem but i am unsure if java.exe

Hi, I searched on your web site, but I didn't find the difference between the OpManager Professional and Enterprise. I mean in term of usability, user interface and so on. For example: do I need to log-in on each probe to do the set-up or I have to access only the Admin server? Thanks.

Need to turn Automatic Discovery feature OFF
We are on OpManager build 872; we do not want to upgrade if we do not have to right now. What we need is to turn off the automatic discovery feature. Every time we create a new virtual server in VMWare, OpManager automatically sees it. We want only the ability to add the server to OpManager when we want to. Thanks you
MCM plug-in and OPManager 8812
Hello, I upgraded OPManager to 8812 then I installed MCM-Plug-in but when I tried to access in admin page settings I got waiting on .... in my browser then come back to login page. Administration of snmp trap processors
Would you please make it easier to administer snmp trap processors? With more than 1000 defined traps, it is a nightmare to administer the snmp trap definitions. I would like to have bulk administration for a given OID (add, modify, delete and search) . I would also like to have a couple of extra fields in the snmp traf definition: the name of the vendor and the type of equipment.

Flickering in BusinessView
Hi, I've noticed a flicker when moving the cursor up and down a icon in a business view. This is very annoying and sometimes prevent me from clicking a link. Hi I am moving OPManager from MYSQL to MSSQL but it seems to be taking a very long time. My MYSQL database was just under 6GB in size and it took about an hour to make backup of the database. I am now restoring it into MSSQL after following the instructions to change the database configuration. Business view + spanning tree
Hello, Could you please tell me if there is any possible way how can I show link between two switches by different colour when one switch has got on a port setup spanning tree (for example blocked status) ? Because there is only in "Business view" link status such as Shutdown, Down, Others and unManage. At this time I can only show monitor on a switch by using .1.3.6.1.2.1.17.2.15.1.3 oID. Where I see on a port state 2 which is blocked status. So question is How can I see that in the business view.
Unresponsive Server Notification
Greetings, I have a server that becomes unresponsive, however, still responds to pings. Most of the monitored items become unresponsive although process monitors still show green. I don't receive any notification of any failures or that the server is down or that performance monitors are not receiving information from the server. Does anyone have a way to be notified in this situation? I don't like being notified by users!! Thanks! Chris

SNMPTRAP not raised as alarms at OpManger due to exceptions
Hello My service sends an SNMP TRAP to OpManager but the alarm is never raised. We can see the TRAP in the MIBparser tool but not in the OpManager GUI (not in alarms). Looking at the logs i saw that the nosuchinstance exceptions were raised due to the lack of 3 parameter in the trap. Is it possible for OpManager to raise an alarm even if there are some exceptions??
