NetFlow Plug-In BUILD 9000 Released - New features, bug fixes and upgrade information

We have released NetFlow Plug-In BUILD 9000 with some great features and enhancements. Some of the new features are:


  • Capacity Planning Reports
  • Wide Area Application Services (WAAS) reporting
  • Pre and Post NATed IP Address information in Cisco ASA (firewall) reports
  • IPV6 Address format support in reporting
  • Automatic CBQoS policy reports for the first 20 routers
  • Geo location in PDF and CSV
  • Standard Deviation calculation in Traffic Reports
  • Interface performance dashboard
  • Custom URL widget in Dashboard
  • Option to map IP Addresses to site names
  • Support for Radius server Authentication in MS SQL
  • Widget for Top N Alerts

Enhancements & Bug Fixes

  • Sampling in ADTRAN Devices has been added
  • Schedule Report file names with "null" has been fixed
  • User Defined DNS added for Schedule reports
  • Dashboard – Top stat – Last 15 Min Report – time period wrong
  • Tomcat Vulnerability issues have been fixed
    • Fix for Apache Tomcat Single Sign-on HTTP Cookie exposure Vulnerability (CVE-2008-0128)
    • Hidden the web server details (say Apache/Tomcat 5.0.28) and return a blank information for the sake of security
    • Fix for the multi-content-length vulnerability issue in Tomcat
    • Fix for HTTP Cookie (jsessionid) Exposure Vulnerability
  • Temp raw table growing issue has been fixed
  • SNMP V3 related issue has been fixed

Upgrade for EXISTING customers:

Existing OpManager NetFlow Plug-In customers can upgrade to NetFlow Plug-In BUILD 9000 with collected data and configurations by applying the required service pack. To avail the upgrade pack and for instructions on applying the service pack, visit the below link:

NOTE:
* Upgrading to NetFlow Plug-In BUILD 9000 requires OpManager BUILD 8812.
* If you are running an older version of OpManager, upgrade to BUILD 8812 and then upgrade NetFlow Plug-In

Fresh install for TRIAL users:

To trial the NetFlow Plug-In with your existing OpManager installation and see if it fits your traffic monitoring and security analytics requirements, download the full installation binaries (Windows and Linux available) from the below link and install it on your OpManager server:
