Hello! i have: 1) OpManager (build 8812) 2) Windows 2003 R2 SP2 x64 + MS SQL 2008 x64 I add MS SQL monitor. OpManager sees DEFAULT Instance ( DEFAULT instance of SQL Server health : OK. ) but does not see the DB - No database is associated. Click here to associate the databases. when I try to add a database system that does not see them how to fix this bug?

Opmanager 9 Failover - Secondary server service stops
Our Opmanager failover is working fine, but after failback the secondary servers Opmanager service is stopped. 1. Shutdown primary server 2. Alert is received that primary server is down 3. After about a minute the secondary server is accessible through http://server2:80 4. Turn primary server back on 5. Primary server takes over and is accessible at http;//server1:80 But then we receive an email that the secondary server is down. When I log into the secondary server the Opmanager service is stopped.

Fix database after time shift
In our testing environment, we have shifted the time for the domain backward for some simulation testing. Unfortunately, OpManager has become confused and has stopped monitoring our servers. I tried to rediscover and test each monitor, and that worked for a little while yesterday - but today it's back to not monitoring. For example, today is May 16 2012. The last time OpManager thinks it monitored the servers was in August 2012. So, it's waiting until then (I think) before it monitors again. I would

SQL DB instances lose backslash
Just tried migrating my fully patched Opmanager backend database this morning from a SQL 2005 server to a SQL 2008 server. My DBA successfully backed up the database and restored to the new server. I ran the DBConfiguration.bat file and entered in the new connection info. My problem is the 2008 SQL servers use instances. Hello, I'm running Opmanager with the NCM and Netflow addons. I've read a few posts saying that Opmanager doesn't store syslog entries. Having a historical record of all syslog messages is very useful for troubleshooting. Is there a way to make it dump all received syslog messages to a file? i.e. like a normal unix system. SMS cut after 125 signs
Hi! I've updated OpManager to the newest HotFix 8722. Since the point of installation all SMS are cut after 125 signs and a second SMS containing the rest of the signs of the alarm is sent. I am just learning OpManager 9101 evaluation 32-bit version (still waiting licence) under Linux 2.6.32-220.13.1.el6.i686, when I am clicking on "layer 2 topology map" tab under "maps" or "network", only a page displaying "error" is coming up. SMS_out queue monitoring
All, Is there a way, how to monitor SMS queue on OpManager ? We have some troubes with Cell Operator and sometimes GSM modem is not working. I would like to see an email notification if SMS queue is more than 5 messages during 20 minutes.
Update interface descriptions
The interface descriptions on the cisco infrastructure I manage change on a somewhat regular basis. Is there a way I can update opmanager to poll the interface descriptions off the switch and update the description in opmanager. thanks in advance, let me know if i somehow did not ask the question clearly. -sean

Switch Port Mapping Issue
Hello everyone, It is observed that, In the Demo versoin of Opmanager, a graph mapping to an interface is showing incorrect. Actual bandwidth flow in that particular port is 16Mbps but it is showing zero. What might be the issue. Please help me in this regard.
OPManager Interface Graphs Pictures not displayed sometimes
We use OPManager 7023 with a few cisco firewalls. But we can only see the Interface traffic Image sometimes. In most cases the image is missing and a red cross is displayed (see attachment). We deleted and readded the firewalls several times but it is always the same. Sometimes you can see the traffic interafce graph and a few hours later it doesn't work. Thanks in advance.
OpManager some information about flapping and inactive port
Hello to everyone, i'm evaluating OpManager, but i have some doubts... in my dashboard i see a lot of alarms about the ports of the my switches, for example when an operator turn off the PC, the port in the switch goes down and there is an allarm, my question is this, how can i do to see the allarm only when occur a flapping? Because is uncomfortable see a lot of message if you have 30 switches :( Thanks
URL "Check Now" feature is always failing
Build 9101 I created some new URL monitors, which perform a get on a set string, and the monitors appear to be working, however the "Check Now" button is not working. Even on long-standing URL monitors, every time I hit the "check now" button the test fails. Unable to enable thresholds on WMI performance monitor build 9101
I have several servers which I've loaded Biztalk host counters for, and applied threshold alerts, prior to build 9101. last week I deleted a monitor and tried to recreate and found I can not SAVE my threshold values. Even though I get a positive message that the graph has been modified, it remains not enabled, with no values saved.

Warning after installing new license file.
Hi, We changed the email contact information and got a new license file from your support. When we added this license file as the description said we got a warning on our central server saying : "Problem in processing archived data from probes. Check whether bcp.exe and nativeclient are installed properly. Details" Clicking on the Details link didnt provide any information that made any sence. Opmanager and Servicedesk plus
I have both Opmanager 9.0 and Servicedesk plus 8.1 installed on the same machine. It seems that after I upgrade to servicedesk 8.1, the whole system is very slow. Is it advisable to have both on the same server. the machine running the application is not very high end. just a windows 7 professional desktop.
Virtualization dashboard usage rounding
Hi, on the virtualization dashboard "Usage (%)" are not roundend with a fixed number of digits. Sometime this results in very long number displayed, like 78,9999999999999999999995%. We have the dashboard on show on the big screens and got quite a few of complaints about it by the higher up management. It seems like a trivial mistake to fix. Is a solution planned for the next release? Thank you

Hello, I have a vendor that we provide SNMP access for monitoring a VoIP service at some of our branch offices. OpManager sent an alert with wrong information regarding disk space
Hi, OpManager sent an alert with wrong information regarding disk space. When I checked the server disk space it is still 27.7GB and OpManager sent a zero disk space alert. Problem Adding Device to OpManager
Hi Currently running build 9101 on Windows Server 2003, and I'm having issues adding a new firewall (a DrayTek 3200 series device) to OpManager. Manually adding the device results in OpManager reporting that the device was added successfully, but it isn't available to view, and searching for it returns no results, only prompting me to add the device again.
