Storage monitoring IBM V7000
Did anyone succeeded with monitoring IBM V7000 storage? I have added SMI credential with cluster IP. Then I am trying to "Add storage device" in "Discovery" menu with node IP address, however - when I click "Test connection" I always get an error: "Test connection is failed". Is there a log locally where I can see what message storage has passed to the OpM? Maybe worth to mention, I am using OpM 12.3.230
SMS alerts via Clickatell
OpManager version 123177 I configured SMS Server settings to send SMS alerts via the Clickatell gateway. This was working find up until a few days ago when it suddenly stopped working for some unknown reason. The SMS server settings are shown in the attachment. When I try to send a test message I just get "Failed to sent test SMS". The notification log contains the following: Sending SMS via SMS Gateway. Unable to search device details
Hi All, I am getting error while searching for the added device in OP manager console. With this regard, I tried to add the same device newly, it showing device is already exists. But when I search for the same it is throwing an error. Kindly help us to resolve this issue. we are using OP manager version build number as 11300. Thanks, Rajesh L
Opmanager NCM - Backup
Hi So i have around 10-15 Switches (Cisco IOS) that i can not back up. I have around 100+ that are working. and when i try nothing happens. I trace a working one in the firewall logs, and see the server 10.0.0.1 go to the device 10.1.1.10 and its working fine. But when i trigger one of the ones that is not working i get nothing in the Firewall logs.
Alarm within one Business View causes ALL Business Views with Shortcuts to each other to turn Red.
When two or more business views contain shortcuts to each other and an alarm is triggered within any single one, it causes ALL business view shortcuts to turn RED and they do not return to a GREEN color state when the alarm is cleared. If you need further clarification I would be happy to schedule a remote session -- and I believe we already have a ticket open with you regarding this issue.
OpManager central server dashboard has not data
I installed OpManager v12 in central and probe model. I can setup connection between probe to central. The inventory added in probe can be shown in central without any issues. but I can not see any device by CPU utilization or others widgets in central dashboard. the alarms can be found from central without any issues. Are there any settings I need to verify it? Or it is the limitation in central server dashboard? Thank you! Code Chang
Opmanager - Firewall Interfaces - Rx showing 100% utilization
hello, I was wondering if someone could help me identify an issue where in Opmanager, my firewall interfaces are always reporting 100% utilization on the receive connector (Rx). I know this is not accurate as some of the interfaces show thousands of Gigs coming in. I'm thinking this is a misconfiguration or a bug.

I am trying to configure the above as more accurate measurement of memory resource exhaustion but I can't see how to add those 2 metrics. Any help would be appreciated.
Different interval thresholds
Is there a way to have different intervals for different thresholds? For example: CPU Utilization, I have set to an interval of 5 minutes. I want the Attention threshold after 30 minutes (6 consecutive times), Trouble Threshold at 20 minutes (4 consective times) and Critical at 10 minutes (2). Is there an option to do that?
URL Template: How to associate with device
I am wondering what a "URL Template" is used for as one created, I can't seem to associate it with any device. This is under "Configuration -> URL Template"

Is there a way to make a custom Application Monitoring template that is made up of services, processes and other performance monitors that can be applied to a group of servers? I see Application Monitors but I can't seem to modify or make new ones. Is there a way to make a "Service Monitoring Template" that can be applied to a group of servers?

change setting for device polling detail
HI, I'd like to change the setting to store device polling detail for longer. I think by default it stores detail polling information for one week. I need to set that for longer. I can't find where that setting is? Please help this is driving me crazy.

I've been ripping into opmanager from ManageEngine/ZoHo, it's got some issues and inconsistencies that are driving me nuts.. It's what we have right now, and our license is up in a couple months. We're using v11, and there is no upgrade path to v12 at the moment. Have any of you used this? Have you made the switch from 11 to 12? Is there something better in the same price range?

Patch Reboot notification on Contact E-mail Field
Hello, we would like to input an e-mail address somewhere in the device that will notify when a reboot is pending. I see there is a contact E-mail in the Device notes and not sure If I can use this as the variable. I don't believe adding "Contact Email:$CustomField(Contact Email)" in the to field will work. Any advice?
Lost login
OUr previous network engineer retired and now we can not log in to the OpsManager. Is there a way to backdoor into the application from the server? I wouldn't think so but there is no way I am rebuilding this thing up. Is there any hope?

Storage cannot be discovered
Hi， I am adding netapp to OPM but seem there are some issue which cannot allow me to add the device correctly. You can find the attached screen shoot for your reference. ICMP Monitoring - Devices not responding to ICMP (widget)
I have a question regarding the ICMP widget available in the dashboard. "Devices not responding to ICMP" I've tested a few nodes and they come up promptly in the "Device Down" widget but never in the "Devices not responding to ICMP". Shouldn't that be the first to show a result after a monitored IP goes down? I've made the appropriate changes for the "Echo" services to be monitored accordingly with standard alerts but that made no change with the widget. Any help is appreciated!

Uninstall OpMAnager Trial version
HI there, I installed OpManger Trial version. It worked fine. I wanted to uninstall the software but that was not possible. I decided to remove manually the entire folder C:\ManageEngine\OpManager. Now, I want to reinstall the software (free version) but I have an error message telling me that I need to uninstall the previous version. Centrify - Domain login
I'm using centrify to access OpManager. But the login page defaults to local authentication but users are domain. How do I set Domain Authentication by default? Do you have a URL that goes straight to domain authentication? Is it possible to disable local authentication? Centrify has option to execute mapping script, is there anything we can use? Is SAML supported?

Login details not present for this device
Hi, I am trying to add Windows service monitors for a device but it keeps saying 'Login details not present for this device' even though the device is discoverable and other things are successfully being monitored such as CPU, etc. Any ideas?
Discard Rate Threshold for switches

Hello! I have some problem with email notifications. I've created test alert by Settings - Firewall - Alarm Profiles with notification to admin email. Port polling
I have a site that has a Public IP with 4 devices internal that I am Polling on specified ports. When a device goes down and come back up it doesn't clear the alarm. What can I do to fix this issue. I am checking when it sends the alarm but the device is not really off I can still connect to it. Please if someone can help with this issue.

Hi We currently have many alerts configured to send a notification by mail to different user emails. We want to eliminate one of those users from all the notifications that we have configured. There is some option that allows to do it without having to remove the contact in each alert manually? Regards!

CCTV/NOC View Auto Login
Hello, I've created a CCTV/NOC view that I would like to push out to our wall TVs in our operations room but I can't figure out how to get it to auto login? Am I missing something or is there a way to do this? We're running version 12.3.183. While I'm logged in I can access it on this URL http://opmanager/apiclient/ember/index.jsp#/CCTVSlide/301 but I'd like this to auto login on our TVs. Is there a sting I can add after it to pass through details? Thanks in advance.
