Having Issues getting certs on OpManager
Not Very knowledgeable in this area but here it goes because I want to learn! Our browsers don't like when we use a self signed cert so we're trying to use our companies internal wild card certificate. WE added it too IIS and and made our OpManager address something like "opmanager.company.net. Our wild card is *.company.net. Our cert is signed by GoDaddy.com.and opmanager has that and the keystore added to it. We can still access the server but the unsigned thing is still there Anything that I am
Opmanager Mail Server Not Working
Hi Team, No incoming and outgoing mail are working on OpManager, all settings in mail server configuration is ok even also test on outlook and webmail(another client) and found ok, but in OpManager its not working check all service ports and no blockage there. Event Management integration with ServiceNow tool

Probe seizing
Hello Team, Can you please help me to understand the OP manager probe seizing .Let say if we have 5k devices in our environment then how many probes are required in this case. Linux devices incorrect Memory utilization
i have noticed that my op manager server is displaying that i have only 4 % of memory available on a linux server but when i go into the server it shows more than 40 % available. doing some research i found out that it is doing the calculation with the free memory data not with the available memory. is it any know fix for this.

Load balancing between different probes
Dear Team, One of my probe is monitoring more than 1k devices currently. I want to move some of devices from this over utilized probe to another probe which has less count(less than 1k) of the devices. What recommended approach I should follow in this case since I have to re-discover these devices from different probes and then enable all the monitoring template and thresholding for alert generation. Is there any way from which I can extract the dump and load in another probe to avoid any configuration
Duplicity of devices.
Hello Team, I have found that many devices duplicate devices are getting monitored in our environment. Let say device1 is getting monitored by two probes (Probe 4 & 5) and due to this out more licenses are exhausted. Is there any process from which we can remove these duplicate devices and if we add any duplicate devices in future then it should at least show some popup or validate for duplicate devices. I configured integrate Op-manager with service-desk plus in Op-manager and The message of success shows me (Sync Asset details done successfully) But no Asset is sent to Service Desk Plus .

Improve Disk Usage By Drives Report
Because I can't get the same metrics into a custom report, it would be nice to improve the tables in the CSV output of the Disk Usage by Drives built-in report. Right now, the layout doesn't allow for good sorting and analyzing. When exporting, the table looks like the "Current" attachment. If you add another column for "Device" with the device name next to each partition, creating an Excel table and doing an analysis would be so much easier. See "Proposed" attachment for an example. Opmanager layer2 map problem
Sorry if this is a double post but I can't find my post from last week. I recently installed opmanager. have a c3750 as a core switch and inventory/discovery is working, it finds bunch of hosts and devices. It even sees switch details etc. Next I tried to create a layer2 map. However it only maps my workstation, the switch and the pc running opmanager. Good afternoon, I have a very basic notification profile whereby if a certain snmp trap is recieved a bat file is run which in turn opens up an exe file. Initial Install
I'm just trying to install this - firewall monitoring piece. On a windows server. I run the install, and the very first question "ADMIN" or "COLLECTOR" is not listed on ANY of the documentation I can find. Which do I install? I installed the admin, but it says there's no collector... It won't let me re-run the install a collector on the same computer. When I un-install and try to install the collector, it wants an IP of the Amin.... there isn't one yet... How do Install?

Workflow: Task pause until system reboot
This is a question that might turn into an idea unless someone has some insight: I am trying to create a workflow that stops and disables Windows Services -> Reboots the server -> That enables and starts the services after the reboot is complete. The current "reboot system" task doesn't appear to wait for the system to reboot and become available again for it to move on to the next task unless I am doing it wrong. Adding SNMP Monitor failure
Hi, I noticed that adding an SNMP monitor to any device template fails with a time out, further digging I discovered that the community being used by opmanager is public to fetch the OID result in question. Devices disappear from business view when apply&ovewrite template
Hi, I had several categories in inventory with several devices. I modified a switch templated, applied and overworte the changes. Then I found several categories in inventory disappeared. I think when I changed the switch template this category overwrote the early categorie I created. I can understand this point. The real problem was that in several business views the devices that belonged this categories have disappeared but not all of them. The devices are still in the inventory but I need to know
Not all servers is displayed in the report.
I want to create a report "Availability and Response". I choose "Create New Report", select Availibility Category, choose Business View that I created earlier and in which I added 6 servers. All these servers are available and response. But in the report itself only 3 of 6 servers are displayed. Why can not all servers are displayed, despite the fact that they are all in the same category, they all work and are available?
Really hit or miss
We have 7 hyperv hosts - most do not get detected as a hyper v host - but incorrectly reported as Server 2012 R2. If I manually edit the machine details to a hyperv host it looses all the dial metric details and does not report on any hosted vms. I see this has been a common theme over the years but as I am using the latest version I thought this would not be an issue? We recently moved all of our systems from a 172.xxx.xxx.xxx subnet to a 10.xxx.xxx.xxx subnet. After the IP address change I attempted to add our firewall back into monitoring but when I add the firewall I receive an error "The host (10.xxx.xxx.xxx) is added as a non-SNMP device, since its engine Id matches with the existing engine Id of 172.xxx.xxx.xxx" I cannot change the firewall SNMP engineID, how do I remove the existing engine ID of 172.xxx.xxx.xxx
Free Disk Space (WMI) - different Threshold Values for each partition
Hello, We're currently monitoring multiple servers over WMI to get information about low disk space. So far, I have used the function via the device templates to assign the "Free Disk Space" monitor to specific device groups. But now I have the problem that some devices have several partitions in different sizes. Unfortunately, I can only set ONE value for the threshold, and this affects ALL hard disk partitions. But I want to set a separate threshold for each partition, without setting it up manually
