EventLog Analyzer - Admin password lost
I installed EventLog Analyzer on a temp machine (Windows version) last week to test it out. After a few days it seemed to have lost the log in password for admin. At the time I did not think of fussing around with it as I was going to move this over to another machine anyways. Now I had EA installed and running for the past 4 days on the new machine. When I went to log in today it would not accept the password. Yet yesterday it had no problems using the same password. Is there a way to re-set the

EventLog Analyzer Starts but Only Monitors Local Host
Good morning, EventLog Analyzer, running on Windows 2003 Web Ed, is able to pull information from local machine and successfully receive syslog messages from a UNIX host. However, a second Windows host cannot be monitored even though authentication is verified. Is this as a result of the machine not being on that domain? I do not imagine that being on the same domain is a requirement, is it? Any other ideas? Chris
Problem starting Eventlog Analyzer
Hello: We have installed EventLog Analyzer for testing. Initially it installed okay and was working well, we really liked the product in our initial testing. However after couple of days, web client didnt respond and browser came back with page not found errors. Then, I tried after stopping service and restarting it, but that didnt work either. I then tried starting from the bat script for starting the server and it reported, as below, in the command window: Unable to start MySQL server on port 33335.
Only retriving logs from local machine.
It seems that i can only get logs from the local machine. none of the other server logs are imported.. it's been 2 days an it's at the logging about to start stage for the other servers. please help.
How to retrieve logs from Linux host
Hello, I am evaluating EventLog Analyzer on a Red Hat ES 4 server, and I am having trouble collecting syslogs from that device. I have made the changes to /etc/services and /etc/syslog.conf that work fine on other servers, but I never get any logs from my EventLog host server. Any suggestions? thank you, Dennis
