[Security update] Log360 Cloud Threat Analytics authentication
EventLog Analyzer customers using the Advanced Threat Analytics add-on with Log360 Cloud Threat Analytics are required to update to version 12550 or later for improved authentication security. The new version enhances security by introducing IP restriction, ensuring that API calls made using API keys from unauthorized IP addresses are blocked. This prevents API abuse and strengthens authentication.
To switch to the new authentication security, you will need to reconfigure the access key acquired from the newer flow. Here's how to do that once you update EventLog Analyzer to version 12550 or later:
Sign in to Log360Feeds account.
Copy the Access Key displayed on the Log360 Feeds Home Page.
Paste the Access Key in EventLog Analyzer under:
Settings → Threat Management → Advanced Threat Analytics → Log360 Cloud Threat Analytics → Edit Access key.
