For the past two days I've been receiving an e-mail alert from Desktop Central (Build 90121) as follows: Subject: Low Disk Space in your Patch Repository! Hi, Your Patch Repository is running out of disk space. Limit Specified: 10GB Current Size: 10.28GB The message includes a link to "Configure Clean Up Policy" (Points to this URL: http://<server:8020>/ storepatch.do?actiontocall=showpatchstoredetails&ascending=false&tabselect=settings ) but I can't get the URL to work and I'm not seeing a "Patch
APN Update
We are due to renew our Apple APN within the next 90 days. When we renew and apply to Desktop Central is this seamless to the end user - i.e. are they prompted to accept a new certificate on their Apple device?... Many thanks, Alan.

Windows Notification Service (WNS) is not Reachable
We are seeing the error message below in Desktop Central under MDM / Enrollment. Anyone know what this is? Did not see this before today. Maybe a port that needs to be opened? Windows Notification Service(WNS) is not Reachable! Desktop Central is not able to reach WNS, Contact Support with the server logs.

Execute script on OSX
I need to deploy an SSL certificate for my Mac systems via DC. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like there is any ability to simply run a script for Mac's. I've created a Zip of with the certificate and specified the command to import it into the System keychain (/usr/bin/security add-trusted-cert -d -r trustRoot -k /Library/Keychains/System.keychain root.crt) but the deployment always fails with 'Installable not found' Is there any way to easily deploy this?
Template for new pc's
Dear, Then I make a template with a couple of software packages selected I send it to a couple of pc's. This works fine. But what happens when I modify this package after it has run to put in new pc's. Does he only push this to the new pc's or to all the pc's in the list. Or is there a way to create a package or template that can be used for every pc and that he only installs what is new or changed? Kind regards Tim Verduyn

I am wanting to deploy Skype 7 to all our users via DC, we previously installed 6.18 via GPO, so I created a custom script to remove 6.18 as a pre-deployment task. MsiExec.exe /X{1845470B-EB14-4ABC-835B-E36C693DC07D} /passive /norestart However if for some reason Skype was not installed by GPO the pre-deployment script fails and version 7 is not pushed out, how can I configure the exit code to proceed if the 6.18 version was not found?

Deleted computer still appears in custom reports
In these custom reports a computer appears that does not exist for more than a year. This computer has been removed from active directory and does not appear in the Inventory view or in the All systems view of Patch Mgmt or in the SoM view. Neither it appears in pre-built reports like the "All computers" report. Old flash versions still showing in inventory - DC90111
Hello DC people, DC version : 90111 There have been many new versions of Flash player in january. The fact is : now I have 5 differents versions of it in DC inventory (see screenshot), which looks like a bug because some computers are reported to have 3 or 4 versions installed. I have checked on the computers and there are no signs of the olders versions. Others softwares don't have this problem in DC (only 1 version - the good one - is shown). We were running on Java 8 update 25. This was from a template in desktop central. I was wondering if there was a newer version, so i searched in templates and found Java 8 update 32. So I downloaded the package and added the new version in the configuation and deployd the new verson to some of our machines. Remote shutdown schedule weekly and monthly
I need to set 2 schedules... 1 for auto shutdown Mon-Thurs another for every 4th Saturday every 90 days. I was able to set them the way I want them, but when I save the task the configure scheduler only saves one.... Can I set a weekly and monthly schedule?

I have office365 setup on my domain and I am trying to setup the mail server in Desktop Central but it keeps coming back with the following error: Unable to Establish Connection!. Install MSU Patch
We recently had some reports of IE9 crashing after installing a MS patch KB3008923. Microsoft released an update that fixes the issue, KB3025945. However it is not an available patch in DC. I tried pushing it out as a software package but cannot get it to work. Anyone know how to push out this patch? Thanks.
Desktop Central computers dropping off domain?
Ever since we installed Desktop Central into our domain, we are getting computers here and there getting this error: "The security database on the server does not have a computer account for this work station trust relationship" Has anyone else seen this happen? Is DC causing it, or is it just random coincidence?
Disable Java Update Configuration
We have probably a handful of systems that require a specific build of JAVA for the application that is installed on them to function. We do not want to disable auto updates of java across the domain, but want an easy way to block further installation of JAVA on those systems when we push out the latest build of java.. These systems are not connected to the internet so there is no way for them to automatically update java, we have to push them out.. (these are the systems on that specific build)

Hi, I've just installed desktop central on my network, However when I create an AD user and have the language set to English, it default's to Spanish, I've set up the user with the default Admin account. I am trying to figure out why some of my agents are stating the agent live status is up but when I try to connect it states agent not reachable.
Desktop Central is unable to create/upgrade the agent
I'm getting this error in SOC: "Desktop Central is unable to create/upgrade the agent" I already added the folder to the antivirus exception. Earlier today it gave me this error then went away long enough for me to get about half the agents deployed. Now it came back with no changes.

is there a template or a configuration to disable the auto update of Google Chrome? Glad to see that you have it available in patch management, is there a way to disable the autoupdate and let patch management handle it?

We use Secunia CSI agent in our environment to scan for EOL and insecure versions of software. The PostgreSQL included with Desktop Central is showing as insecure. How can this be version be patched to the latest release?
Problems with registry changes
I am trying to change the value at the registry key "Software\Classes\CLSID\{323CA680-C24D-4099-B94D-446DD2D7249E}\ShellFolder". These keys are more protected by the system, and it seems the DesktopCentral agent, which is running as SYSTEM cannot make the change directly. So, I set up a permissions management task to add SYSTEM to that key with full privileges. This doesn't seem to work, since these keys are not set to inherit permissions from above, and the SYSTEM account only has read access to

Hi We noticed that the App "ManageEngine MDM for Samsung" is no longer supportd on S4mini GT-I9195 Android ver. 4.2.2 and ver. 4.4.2 We also tried the ManageEngine MDM, but when we do the enrollment we received a message error that the App is not designed for Samsung SAFE devices. Any way to test for Java availability before pushing update?
We're trying to update our multiple Java 7 versions in a single job but the pre-deployment task doesn't seems to be able to handle wildcard or partial software name match like "Java 7 update". Our goal is to update all of our current Java 7 installation (v10 to V72) to the latest version (v75) but we also want to avoid deploying Java 7 on computers that don't already have it. Is there a way to achieve that? We have to do this on both XP and Windows 7 x64 computers.

Push Chrome to XP workstations
I need to push Chrome to my remaining XP workstations, but I need to make sure that IE is still the default browser. We have custom software that has to have IE as the default. I know there is a template for pushing Chrome out, so I think I will be good there, but I am not sure how to set IE as the default AND it not ask the User if they wish to make Chrome the default. thanks! jsbac

just as the title says, 9.0.128.W causes R6025 pure virtual function call on Win XP and agent is not functioning. this happens when upgrading and also when a new installation (using SOM page or the msi file itself) happens to Win XP. WIn 7, 8. 8.1, Server 2008r2 and server 2012r2 seem fine.
File/Folder Operation
In file folder operation, specifically the delete operation, I would like to see more capabilities around verification that a file exists. Case in point..I recently had to delete multiple files of type .exd from our workstations and they can reside in possibly 6 different places. I deployed this configuration to a test account and all it says is 'Execution Failed' 'The system cannot find the path specified' I have no idea of easily knowing if any files were deleted or not at a glance. Identifying computers in SoM
Hello, My problem in displaying all of the computers in my workgroup by desktop central still remains.As you can see in the attached file our network shows nearly 200 PCs ,whereas desktop central can only identify a few.
