For example, I am interested in retrieving the Value for the Teamviewer ID stored at: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\TeamViewer\Version9 in ClientID An example value would be 728537476 (decimal) I want to be able to produce a spreadsheet listing the Computer Name and the TVID for about 1400 PCs that are in DC but which are not joined to an AD Domain. Patch Severity Rating appear to have recently changes
Microsoft products used to be the primary patches that had severity ratings. Java has showed up for a long time as Critical. Patches for products such as Chrome or FF used to be unrated. I now see that these patches are now rated. For example, Update for Google Chrome (40.0.2214.93) , Update for Skype (7.0.0.102), Update for Mozilla Firefox (35.0.1) are now rated as Critical. Logs Folder on Client too big
I installed the agent on about 30 laptops in the company. On each computer has created the folder
C : \ Program Files ( x86 ) \ DesktopCentral_Agent \ logs
which grows about 150 megabytes per day . If this continues I will fill in a short time the hard drives of users . how can I do to prevent or limit does not grow beyond a maximum of 200 Megabytes ? Please help me thank you very much

I just installed the latest hotfix ( DC now shows build 90121 ). Do I need to upgrade the agents on workstations as well?
Patch detection for Adobe FLASH critical update 16.0.0.296?
Over the weekend Adobe released a new critical fix for their zero-day vulnerability CVE-2015-0311 and our machines that are online have updated themselves to v16.0.0.296 for the most part. Adobe says they'll be releasing the manual update sometime this week. I checked the Desktop Central vulnerability DB for updates this morning but there's no mention of the FLASH 16.0.0.296 update yet. Any ETA on this? It'd be nice to be able to push the update to any machines that are still missing it.
Four new false positives when MS .NET 4.5.2 (KB2901983) is installed

computer configurations don't execute!
I have deployed some configurations in computer section,I have even tried the templates themselves,I have reset the PC for several times and it's been over 90 mins that these policies have been deployed. None of the computer configurations(such as software deployment,user management,etc) got applied, my user configurations execute properly though.
Renaming recently upgraded Desktop Central Server
We are stepping through a Desktop Central migration to a new server. I have all the steps to transition to the new server, but I need to rename it back to the original server, once it is migrated. This is because the DesktopCentral server also runs the ServiceDesk software and I can't change the URLs. Is there any documentation about changing the machine names on a Desktop Central server? Adobe AIR 16.0.0.245 patch detection doesn't seem to be working
I see that the Adobe AIR 16.0.0.245 patch (300849) for Windows came out on January 12th, but none of our Win 7 SP1 workstations are showing that they're missing the patch -- they're all still running AIR 15.x. The Inventory reports are showing the correct information, but Patch Management doesn't seem to be detecting properly. Anyone else see this behavior? Our Desktop Central build is 90111. Thanks.

Can a search be done that puts all versions of the software title search together? For example if I search for Adobe Reader the output will come back with a line for each version of Adobe Reader. Overhead for turning on the user reporting
We are in an AD environment owned by our parent company. They have placed domain controllers in our physical location and all workstations are joined to that domain. I have Desktop Central set up, and agents deployed to the PCs in our organization and would like to utilize the User Logon reports, however Desktop Central does not have the ability to restrict its scanning of AD to our organization's OU. If I was to turn on the User Logon reporting, what does Desktop Central do to get that information?

Hi. Include non-managed devices in the inventory I use Desktop Central to manage configuration and inventory for my Windows stuff. I like the fact that i can get reports of servers with Maintenance due to expire. However this only really corresponds to my Microsoft inventory. It would be nice if I could add a VMWare host or non-managed device in here so that I could have all of my inventory information in one place. How to create script
I've been able to successfully install WinZip 19 msi using the "Software Deployment" package creation and then install process. All works as desired. However, after the installation we need to run a license file (called "WinZip.wzmul"). How do I write a script that would launch this file using elevated permissions (all users only have "User" privileges on their PCs)? I've placed the "WinZip.wzmul" file in the software depository and the user's also have access to the file on their W:\ drive.
Issue with MDM
MDM devices enrolled does not work through GSM. If I want to reset a passcode to a device that has the MDM agent on but connected through GSM, It fails. For example: A work Iphone can be resetted within the work network LAN and WIFI. But If someone stole the Iphone and connects the Iphone via GSM to access internet somewhere else, why cant we apply security locks or passcode reset to that particular phone. Hardware Report for Disaster Recovery
For the past number of years we have extrapolated what we need from SCCM, and used Microsoft SQL Reporting services to put it in a nice friendly view. For every server that must be recovered, we've found the following list of hardware items is needed. What I would like is a way to do this just through DTCentral, and toss out all of our SQL Reporting if possible. I have tried to setup the schedule report for "User Logon Report by Computer" and with the criteria of "logon or logoff time" equal to "last month. MDM Security Concerns
We have been using Desktop Central for about a year now and i would love to start using the MDM features. My company has concerns about opening the "Desktop Central" server which has remote access to all of our computers, to the internet. One idea was to run another install of Desktop Central on a separate server just for MDM, but i would like to avoid doing this. The certificates used to sign Desktop Central binaries has expired on 28-12-2014, you might face problem in establishing remote connection. This issue has been fixed in 90108 build. Cannot patch Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition Service Pack 2 get No targets available
I can get inventory details, I can see what patches are needed, but when deploying a patch configuration, Execution Status says "No targets available" and the patch configuration never deploys. I have been able to patch previously on the server, it randomly stopped working. I've tried to reinstall the agent, but that does not solve the issue.

Calculate amount of data in a particular folder
I am new to Desktop Central - please be kind. I am looking for a way to see how data is in a particular folder. We are considering changing the location of all user's My Documents folder to point to the user's home drive. Before we do we want to get an estimated amount of data that would be copied over. exit codes on custom scripts
