Cannot delete software package
Package cannot be deleted. It is published for the following groups : All Users Group For the life of me I cannot figure out how to remove this software package from the All Users Group.
Office 2007 unistall
Hello. How can I unistall all Office 2007 (SmallBussines) on all of my PC's using SoftwareDeployment? I don't know how to make commands and .xml file for unistall. I only did installations with SoftwareDeployment and all work like charm, but I can't figure how to uninstall anything. Please help

Hello! Does anyone know of a way to update custom packages - for example Adobe Air - any other then the standard way? (click on template -> create package... modify existing package and select new)? Is there a way to push a default Windows 10 start menu to all our on net windows10 computers by using Desktop central. We are trying to stay away from creating another GPO to update a users startup menu. Has anyone had any instance to do this and was it successful?
Issues with Deploying Outlook & Excel Add-in
I am having difficulty deploying SAP's Outlook and Excel Add-on. They are both .exe files and when I try to click Install through the self service portal I get the following error: "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Install package." I am able to install these .exe files locally on my computer. I also don't have any issues with deploying other .exe files.

Microsoft office 2013 deployment creation
I see that under software deployment there is documentation for how to create and deploy Microsoft office 2010 and 2016 but not 2013. Is the deployment of office 2013 supported in desktopcentral? If so can you point me to where I can find instructions to create a deployment?

I'm trying to deploy packages to clients, however this always fails with the error: Could not copy the installables to the client computer : The system cannot find the path specified. Installing the very same packages through the self-service portal works though. I have checked the deployment log and something interesting shows up - as you can see ManageEngine joins the local ProgramFiles path together with the UNC path of the network share of the repository. Office 2016 Deployment
I am having trouble deploying Office 2016 and Office 2013 using Desktop Central. I can deploy them fine manually so i know the configuration file is correct but Desktop central does not deploy. The package shows executed and the logs look ok but nothing happens. I can deploy other things like acrobat and Visio 2016 so I know the network permissions are correct.

Self Serve Portal stops working with removal of SMB1 protocal on Windows 10
After all of the WannaCry action over the summer - today I finally got around to removing the SMB1 protocal from several WIndows 10 ENT workstations. It tried it first on a few test VMs and did not see any impact. I'm attempting to configure Windows 10 1803 deployment to previous releases of Windows 10 via the Self Service Portal. Deploy Trillian
I have been Trying to deploy Trillian from the premade template and it does not work. First before even deploying it asked for the uninstall switch. Then after contacting support, they gave me the switches but that still did not allow me to deploy the software. When I deploy this I get the system can not find file specified error. Again I have contacted support with this but all they told me based on the logs was the software was not installed which I knew it was not since my goal is installing.
Why does the distribution server replicate the same configuration every time?
I have a template setup with about 5 different software that I need to deploy to a new computer. Most the time it is to just one pc then later I might have to deploy to another. I noticed that every time I go to redeploy the template that it has to replicate all the software to the distribution server even though that DS already has the software stored in its repository. Is there a better way to redeploy a template so that it won't have to replicate every software in the configuration every time?

Failed - No Data Available but the software is installed correctly
Hi We are testing the deployment for Autodesk product, we have 3 heavy applications to install on 100 PC and it takes 30/45 minutes to installing one (Inventor/Mechanical, Revit, Autocad LT) I run the configuration and the status goes to"Failed - Dati disponibili esauriti." MSI Application wont install properly

How can I do to use DesktopCentral to replace a .txt file from the network. the file tha I want to replace is within the local server folder used as a repository. all computers in our network has a file called TOPO_CONFIG.txt at c:\Program Files (x86)\RBS\TopO BTP Now, I have to change the file for another one .... how can I do that ?
Pre-install Windows C++ Redistributable
If I have the Windows C++ Redistributable as an application in Desktop Central can I use it as a pre-req for installing a software package. From what I'm reading it looks like I can use a pre-install script to install it. But I havent found any references or examples of it being used.
1703 update with Bitlocker enabled
I have been able to successfully get the package to install on a machine that is not bitlocker enabled but as soon as I attempt to run the package the installer says "Windows Setup cannot find a location to store temporary installation files. Make sure BitLocker Drive Encryption is suspended." I found the powershell command "Suspend-Bitlocker" but I have no idea how to run that command before the install starts through Desktop Central. I attempted to create a custom script but it also failed.

I have internal root CA's that I currently push to my Windows domain via GPO. This works for IE and Chrome, but not Firefox. Is there a way I can deploy a certificate to Firefox installations? And if it is not possible, I would like to request for this feature

What types of scripts are allowed for post-installation ? .bat / .cmd / .vbs ? What about AutoIt or Python ? Could someone post an example of something simple like a file copy script. Say you want to copy a .txt file to a folder post installation. I am new to Desktop Central and learning something new each day. I appreciate any help.

New to Desktop Central, formerly SCCM, and I am already a big fan ! Post installation activities only lists 'custom script'. What kinds of scripts can I use ? .bat .cmd ? What about .vbs, AutoIT, Python ? Also, does my script have to live in the 'script repository' or can it just be added to the software deployment package when I '+add files' ? If someone could post a screenshot of a post-installation script entry that would be super helpful.

Restart switch on custom exe package
I am in the process of testing the deployment of windows 10. I have it working based on the documentation on how to deploy it. I noticed tho that once it is finished it the pc automatically restarts. I am using the /quiet switch but what switch could I use to either force a reboot after x amount of time or give some kind of warning before the pc just restarts once it is finished deploying. It would be nice if users could launch apps from the Self Service Portal. The button could Install (then Run) if required, or Run if already installed. In the package page, there could also then be a Launch tab as well as Installation and Uninstallation.
