All clients are reporting down state
I am currently having an issue where all of my clients are in an "agent live status: down" state. Has anyone run into this issue? I have restarted the service and bounced the machine. I'm able to ping all machines from the server and vice versa. Build No:90087

Remote site agent install
Hi Is it possible to push out the DC9 agent to a remote site without user intervention? We have a number of sites that we don't have remote control access to the pc's (Win7Pro). Sites are small (<5 machines and in workgroup mode) , users do not have local admin rights. IP addresses are known so is a local admin account password. When I push a Windows package I can set my deployment policy to Notify users about deployment or not and I can customize the message if I choose to notify. ManageEngine Desktop Agent ver 9 and Windows XP
Hi, We have a couple of users on Windows XP due to program compatibility issue with Win7. We have installed the agent on Windows XP and so far, we are not able to push any new software installations or updates to them. Is there a compatibility issue of Agent 9 and WinXP? Execute script on OSX
I need to deploy an SSL certificate for my Mac systems via DC. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like there is any ability to simply run a script for Mac's. I've created a Zip of with the certificate and specified the command to import it into the System keychain (/usr/bin/security add-trusted-cert -d -r trustRoot -k /Library/Keychains/System.keychain root.crt) but the deployment always fails with 'Installable not found' Is there any way to easily deploy this?
Template for new pc's
Dear, Then I make a template with a couple of software packages selected I send it to a couple of pc's. This works fine. But what happens when I modify this package after it has run to put in new pc's. Does he only push this to the new pc's or to all the pc's in the list. How to create script
I've been able to successfully install WinZip 19 msi using the "Software Deployment" package creation and then install process. All works as desired. However, after the installation we need to run a license file (called "WinZip.wzmul"). How do I write a script that would launch this file using elevated permissions (all users only have "User" privileges on their PCs)? I've placed the "WinZip.wzmul" file in the software depository and the user's also have access to the file on their W:\ drive.

Hello! after last update of Foxit reader it asks our users to log in as administrator when opening PDF documents. Foxit is updated, everything is installed, restarted, but still asks for administrator password for the first time when starting foxit or opening PDF document. Issue with Deploy Immediately
here is as far as i can see an issue with the option Deploy Immediately. If you have all the patches downloaded and ready - e.g. like a software deployment, then option to deploy immediately to a number of boxes works fine. But if there are patches to download - and the job has to wait until the Download In progress has finished, the patches job IS NOT started straight away, the boxes in the job have to wait until either a) MANUAL service restart b) MANUAL cfgupdate run c) up to 90 minutes for refresh.
Push Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2013
I am trying to silently push out Office Pro 2013 to remote office computers. I followed the two guides for Deploy Office 2013 and Deploy via HTTP. When I push it to a test computer, I get "Pre-installation has failed: The system cannot find the file specified." I used the OCT and followed the instructions. IE 10 Not Installing
When trying to deploy IE 10 via computer, the package gets sent and the user gets notified as designed. They click install and the client shows it is installing but eventually times out. When I look at the user machine, the installation .exe shows up in the task manager, but the CPU is 0 and the memory is at 1500K and does not move. The task eventually times out. Please build in installed application detection
Currently if you modify an existing software deployment, DC will attempt to reinstall software that is has already installed previously. This forces one to create another group or targeting so this doesn't happen. Support has told me the best way to detect if an application has been installed is to implement a pre-install script which is OK but it would be better if some kind of facility could be built in to check for some common conditions such as the existence of a file, existence of a registry

When I try to select an "Organizational Unit" under "Define Target" the "Resource Browser" window appears but I am unable to search and list any AD OUs. Multiple Network Shares

Regedit after deploy of software
We have a situation of having to deploy a software add on for outlook and part of the process is to do a regedit to add a url. The only way we can figure out how to do this is push the software and then psh the reg punch. The question is, can a batch file after the software push do the full process in one attempt as we have a lot of computers to do and what would you put n the batch file.
