Deleted computer still appears in custom reports
I use custom reports to get all computers with their installed Java / Flash / Adobe Reader version and install date. In these custom reports a computer appears that does not exist for more than a year. This computer has been removed from active directory and does not appear in the Inventory view or in the All systems view of Patch Mgmt or in the SoM view. Neither it appears in pre-built reports like the "All computers" report. But in existing custom reports and also when I create a new custom report
user audit reports
hi we like to monitor some of our user activity 1) when they logon and also when they unlock from a locked screen and when screens are locked 2) to create a historical report so we can see who was logged in during a particular period of time (couple of weeks) 3) being able to do this from desktop central currently the AD login report is very basic and only seems to show current logged in users but there is no way (as far as i can see) to track when a user logged in to a computer and when they either
Patch reports
In the patch reporting section you report you will be removing it and to " use advanced auditing capabilities to generate these reports from All Systems View." Can you provide instructions on this since I can't find it?

Dell CAPTCHA preventing warranty date fetch?
Hey, I'm just rolling out build 80354 in our business and one of the things we're eager to monitor is warranty end dates. However there seems to be an issue fetching the data. If you click the service tag, it takes you to the dell site and shows you the machine spec and ship date. However, to view the warranty end date you need to verify by entering a CAPTCHA. Is this what's preventing DC fetching the date automatically? If it is, how do we get around it? can we enter a Dell username and password
Inactive users report has errors due to not interrogating all Domain Controllers
Hi there. We have our domain configured in Desktop Central. However, we have three Domain Controllers all at the same site. Desktop Central only supports the entry of one domain controller, with your Help system stating to use the 'nearest' one. Running the 'inactive user accounts' report results in the wrong data being displayed. Desktop Central interrogates just one Domain Controller and receives the logon data from that one DC. Report of systems without software installed
Is it possible to create a report to list systems WITHOUT specific software installed? When I try this using 'not like', it simply lists every audited software item that does not match (dozens per system) - vs only systems that don't have that specific software product installed.

I want a report that shows me a list of all computers that have not scanned in the past 60 days. Is this possible? I see that I can do a report based on a specific date, but I want to use a number of days ago instead.

Last Contact time for a PC and Lenght of Time on-line afterwards
I know how to obtain the Last Contact time in Scope of Management. I have not found the Last Contact Time listed for automated reports (Last Scan Time is listed). Is it possible to add Last Contact Time to the list so I can produce a report that lists both the Last Scan Time (I interpret this as meaning Last "Successful" Scan Time) and Last Contact Time? Also, does DC keep track of when a PC initially connects and how long it stays connected? I have a few sites that may have network issues
Inventory Report
I need to run a report that shows all of our workstations and their warranty info. I need the following columns: System Name, Remote Office, Operating system, Manufacturer, Model, Warranty info, and OU the system is located. We have our systems in OUs by department. Physical Memory Report Problems
I configured Desktop Central to show me a report on the physical memory installed on my managed machines. It seems like the report is showing some other interpretation of the actual physical ram installed. For example, if I install 4GB of RAM in a machine, the report will show me anywhere between 2995 and 3070 for 'Physical Memory (MB)' depending on the machine. I would actually like to see the actual amount of RAM that is physically installed. Why is this behaving this way? DC8 > Reports >
Expried Warranty Report - CSV
I would like to have DC8 send me automated reports with a list of machines whose warranties have expired. Unfortunately when I go to DC8 > Reports > Add Scheduled Report, select Inventory Reports > Expired Warranty and choose to the results e-mailed in CSV format, the report I recieve includes machines that have warranties that have not yet expired. I would like a report, by computer name, that shows processor info. I see processor info if i click on details in the inventory, i.e. Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz. I can't seem to find that same info in any of the reports. I also tried creating a custom report (not query) but can't find it there either. Can someone give a rookie some clues ?

Report for users within groups
I'm looking to create some custom reports for Users that are in specific AD groups / OU's. I need the users login name, First name, Last name, and account status, account created (if possible), and last logon date (if possible). So for example, I need all that information for groups A, B, and C that are inside OU D. So I can either report on A, B, and C or D. Thanks!
Report problem
When generating an inventory report for software installed on a computer there are a couple of problems with the report. First, if selecting the overall software name it fails to provide anything in the report, for example, if I choose Microsoft Office 2010, or Microsoft Office 2007 I get no machines having this installed, if I select the Outlook component then I get a list of machines.
