I configured Desktop Central to show me a report on the physical memory installed on my managed machines. It seems like the report is showing some other interpretation of the actual physical ram installed.

 

For example, if I install 4GB of RAM in a machine, the report will show me anywhere between 2995 and 3070 for 'Physical Memory (MB)' depending on the machine. I would actually like to see the actual amount of RAM that is physically installed.

 

Why is this behaving this way?

 

DC8 > Reports > Custom Reports > New Custom Report > Report Name = TEST, Sub Module = Computer, Select Criteria = blank, Select Columns = Physical Memory (MB).

 

I am running DC v80234.
