all, I receive this error message http://...252/Reports/Home.aspx is not available. Exception while trying to acces the url java.io.IOException:ResponseCode - 200 I also tried you use the zip for for NTLM and nothing appears to work, any help, would be greatly appreciated.

I am performing an evaluation of this product to monitor several URLs on a large enterprise intranet. Quite a few of our applications use NTLM authentication and I cannot get the Application Manager to work. Execute program to lauch script
All, I have created a shell c# .net program executable to launch a number of different (6) VBS scripts. I would like to have a way to monitor the results of each of these scripts and sometimes perform some kind of system action based on the results. What is the best approach to record my results and how can I configure my alerts base on the results I receive from my scripts.

How to monitor JMX app through firewall using Telnet ping
I am having trouble getting AppMan to monitor a JMX app through a firewall where the Ping is not active. I have tried switching to monitor Telnet on port 23 but the JMX still reports monitor failed due to ping. I can monitor the Telnet using AppMan so I know the port is open. I have edited the conf file to look for port 23, instead of default ping port. Restarted AppMan each time and there are no existing monitors setup. How can I deactivate the ping check to monitor the JMX or at least switch the

does anyone have experience integrating Applications Manager with Dell Openmanage applications? Openmanage can handle physical problems such as removing bad disks from RAID sets or shutting down bad power supplies. We would like to be able to visually see these failures in one integrated screen on AppManager as well as get notifications from AppManager.
CPU Utilization on IA64 - RHEL 4
Hi, I'm testing the Application Manager and since I add the first server (RHEL 4 on IA64) the CPU always is on 100%. The AppManager is running on a RHEL 4 on Intel EM64T. Solaris Host Resource Mibs
Hi all, I try to use Application Manager to monitor a Solaris Machine. However, it fails because the HOST-RESOURCES-MIB is not implemented in the Snmp Agent. Could you tell me how to implement it in Solaris Platform. . I want to know how to add extra MIB as "Host-resource" MIB. The snmp agent in solaris is installed and just has a few mib at all. Hello, when i monitoring my Oracle Database, then there are only the tables: TEMP SYSAUX SYSTEM USERS UNDO But not my self-generated tables ?? we have few company running in US, UK, as well as Malaysia. There are few server running on all these country which needs to be monitored. I am working fine with services like IIS, mail server and etc. Let's talk about hardisk space and server health. :P The Server monitor works well in local, but when I want to monitor it from outside, eg. at home i want to see my office server hardisk health, it's show authentication failed. I have try <domain name>\<admistrator rights> but it's seem not working.

I am monitoring a Sun Solaris 8 system that is using SVM (Sun Volume Manager) to mirror the partitions on it's boot device, this system also has a lot of NFS mounted filesystems. I am only interested in monitoring the SVM Metadevices (not the disk submirrors) and I definitely do NOT want Disk I/O statistics on any of the NFS Mounted file systems. The display is far too cluttered with Disk I/O information that is of no interest to us to be useful. Is there a way to filter the list of file systems

Q1: I am monitoring some numerical values which are only shown as a last-hour linechart. How can I browse those values over a longer period of time? Windows Server Monitor not showing all drives
I added a new windows server monitor for a Win2K3 server. It recognized several drives, but 2 of them did not appear. both drives are on the SAN but so are several of the drives that it recognized. Is there a way to manually add these drives so that I can see the drive utilization stats?

I'm having problems setting up a monitor for a Weblogic 8.1 server in Applications Manager 7. I have added -Dweblogic.disableMBeanAuthorization=true and -Dweblogic.management.anonymousAdminLookupEnabled=true to my Weblogic startup. However, I think there is still a problem registering the MBean. In the AM7 stderr.txt, I get the entry shown below. 123.45.67.89 is the IP address of my Applications Manager server. Any suggestions? Removing IIS Web Sites & Services Not Running
Working with demo and looking for two things. First, the IIS monitor has found all the web sites. After this, we removed one from IIS. However, the monitor still sees it, or at least complains it cannot see it. How do we tell the monitor that site is now gone? I have set up Monitoring Groups. These groups consist of Windows Servers, Oracle databases and WebLogic application servers. On their own, these elements show availability and health, however when you attempt to view the Monitor Groups health and availability it is unknown (grey button, not green). For example our Exchange server has SNMP enabled and is able to be connected to, pinged, what-not, but is still showing unavailable. I have just activated WMI SNMP in hopes that it will help. It did not. 1. Do I have to remove and re-add the montior for the exchange server in order for it to operate? 2. Report showing Uptime of all monitor groups
I am looking for a report that will show me the the uptime of all monitor groups, the lowest value in each group and also one that shows the lowest value across all monitors in the the groups. Does this exist and if not can it be written?

Timezone not correct
I'm in the US and my Application Manager time does not match my server time. I have read the DST Changes post, and my java version is 1.5.0_06 so that shouldn't be an issue. My server is set for GMT time but the Application Manager shows a time of 1 hr greater than GMT. My server platform is RHEL4. Please advise. Thanks, A. Cline

In adventnet console, when monitoring an MBean through JMX, if i watch the graph for an attribute that is from double type, the return value is always equal to 0 whereas from the Sun's JConsole i have the right value. Any idea of what should be done ? I've tried many values (counter, not-counter, and even String ;-p), but nothing to do, i can't get the right value ... and then set the threshold in an efficient way. Hi, I have created a file system monitor, watching a local file, and I have specified a "Check For Content" string. How do I configure an alert on the appearance of this string in the file? The only attributes I see for alerting are "Change in File Size" and "File Size". (I would also like to alert if the file has not been changed in the past x minutes, also.) Thank you.
