Removing IIS Web Sites & Services Not Running
Working with demo and looking for two things.
First, the IIS monitor has found all the web sites. After this, we removed one from IIS. However, the monitor still sees it, or at least complains it cannot see it. How do we tell the monitor that site is now gone?
Second, while we run a few specific services on that box, there are a few that are NOT running. Can we monitor a service to make sure it is NOT running?
For example, the telnet service is there, but disabled. It should never be enabled. We'd like to monitor the service to verify it it not.
