I have a Linux host that has 4 IP addresses, when I try to add a monitor for appsmanager to monitor the host I get the following error: Authentication failed. Cannot add linux monitor
I am having issues with some existing monitors. I am getting "Login Parameter incorrectConnection reset ". When I try and recreate the monitors I get an error about the PasswordAuthentication in SSH_config. These are all set to yes but I still am getting errors connecting. Isaac Kim

I noticed that the reports for process (scheduled)can be 2 reports.. it could be a.)report based on the number of instance and b.) report for CPU usage in %. Could I have a scheduled report for both (report will have the number of instance & the CPU usage in %). Thanks.
File monitoring
Hello, I Can�t get the File Monitoring/Content check to work in Applications Manager 8. The monitor is configured to check the content in a file on a remote server "Sun Solaris 10". The monitor seems to work fine, The file is found and the filesize change values are shown. when i modify the file and add the content that the monitor is supposed to find nothing happens, the health is always clear on the monitor. Reporting
Hi Support, We manage server performance for bottlenecks, and one thing we have noticed is that the CPU usage reports is the average for the day. The issue I guess is that it does not show the usage for the operating hours, in our case, 8am to 6pm. This would be where the bulk processing usage would be, and if there was contention, your reports would not show this to us....which makes the 24hour moving average kind of pointless. So, is t here a way we can report on this, and if not, can the operating

Improve SLA Stats
I would like to improve the SLA stats for the applications that I monitor with Applications Manager. Now I set a poll interval of 10 minutes. Even if I resolve the problem as quickly as possible (say in another 10 minutes), the downtime will take 10 more minutes to sort out. Is there someway of improving this, so that I can reduce the downtime ? -H-e-r-o-

Difficult decision, App Manager or Op Manager
Greetings, I'm new to your line of products as I'm currently running a demo of both your App Manager and Op Manager. More then likely I'll end up purchasing both as combined they have what I need, but I'm bummed as it really seems these two products need to be merged into one main product. They have numerous overlap BUT each product also has a unique feature that the other one is really missing. Hello. I am a new user of application manager. I installed and added a oracle db server monitor. The server is being monitored. But i am able to see the CPU, disk and memory utilization pictures on slecting the monitor. Other information and graphs are dispalyed for connection time, db details and status are displayed. How may I view the utilization details.

Mysql replication status not working
We are monitoring three MySql databases. 1 master and 2 slaves to the master. On the slaves I do not get the replication status. Just a '-'. I need to be able to monitor replication status and send notifications if its down. The time behind master does work correctly. Currently running Applications Manager build 8100. Hi, I'm facing one problem in my OC4J 10.1.3 setup. When I send any message to my request queue through my application the message is being sent as default persistence message. As a result mesasges get accumulated in response queue. Is there any property in OC4J server which we can set to send the message as non persistent???

Dear all, We would like to use several SLA at the same time using some common servers or business objects. Here is an example to better understand the need 3 servers : A , B , C 3 SLA (=3 customers) SLA 1 covers servers A & B SLA 2 covers servers A & C SLA 3 covers servers B & C Currently each time we add a SLA and select servers (or monitor groups) these are disabled (not appearing) when we create a second SLA. Process monitoring
I�ve noticed in monitoring a process, the process should be running first on the server. Is it possible to monitor a process which is not currently running on the server? I would like the app manager to alert me via email if the process is running. Example, process A is not running on the server (and should not be running), if it runs, the app manager would generate an alert for me that process A is running. Thank you for your response.
