Single Sign-On
Have enabled single sign-on for ADSSP and have also enabled SSL. But when accessing the server's URL (either via HTTP or HTTPS) the user is presented with a login screen (it is different to the standard login screen because the login form is below the Forogt Password / Account Unlock buttons, and also the image branding is the ADSSP image not our custom organization logo. Wondering if anyone has seen this situation. (Note: can't confirm, but I believe single sign-on was working prior to enabling
Installing 3rd party certificate for ADSelfService Plus
I have obtained an SSL certificate through GeoTrust which I need to use with ADSelfService plus. I see there are instructions for installing GoDaddy, Comodo and Verisign certs but nothing for GeoTrust. GeoTrust provides its certificates in a p7s file format which supposedly includes all intermediate CA certificates so that I shouldn't have to install the intermediate CAs separately. Can someone please provide me instructions on installing the GeoTrust certificate?
Firewall Issue
I am evaluating ADSelfservice. While it seems to work very well, I did notice an issue that I am not sure what to do with. I read through the posts and noticed a couple of people had the same problem; slowness when accessing the login screen, and when actually logging in. I did however narrow down the cause. AD SelfService (Security Question for resetting the User Login passwords)
Hi we have installed AD Self service in Our Network. My question is Regarding Security Question for resetting the User passwords The answer for that security question is visible for all when they are typing for that question. Is there anyway that we can hide like astrike(***). like it appear dot dot. no one can see that except ***. If someone know that, then any-other can change the password of any-other users. Disable User Details Self Update?
I want to use the Reset, Unlock, and Change Password functions, but I don't want to use the form for users to edit their own details. I know I can go in and just uncheck the checkboxes for all the fields, but that leaves a mess of the header and footer bar there with just all the fields missing. What I would like is an option for another page that has bigger buttons for the Questions reset/registration and Change Password and appears when you have Self-Service Update disabled. GINA/CP Client Webpage Error
Hello, after deploying sucessfully the GINA Client Software on the end users magine, when they click on the button created on the Window Login Menu it opens a small browser windows with the Page not Found indication, where is this webpage deployed and what is the address? ADSMUserReportResult_ files in \temp
Currently have 5800+ files in the \temp directory all with the above filename prefix. The files data back only about 3 weeks. There are 250+ of them created each day. Is it possible to manage how these are created (i.e. how many and when, etc)? Or can it be turned off somehow if not required? Thanks!

Service starts but no response....
Back ground We were running through installing an SSL cert on our ADSSP installation. We used Thawte Certs. We had some issues with the JVM locking up this appears to have been due to Thawte. Issue Even after removing the SSL Config from the server.xml file ADSSP does not launch correctly. The windows service starts with no errors, but the service does not respond on 80 or 443. SSL question
Can anyone tell me how to generate an SSL cert that is 2048 bit . Go Daddy only accepts them 2048 and above but the documentation with this application gives a command that generates only 1024 and that is not accepted. any help would be appreciated. thanks Rick
Problem Deleting User
I have a user that enrolled but he forgot his questions and answers but when i try to delete his account it does not allow me to click on the trashcan beside his name. I tried a differant users entry and it allows me to delete his account. Please advise.

Security Questions Case Sensitive
It appears that the answers to the security questions are case-sensitive. Is there a way around this? I'm finding that people capitalize the answers to some questions but not all and then they can't remember which ones they capitalized. It sure would be easier if case sensitivity wasn't an issue. Customizing the Enrollment Completion Screen
After users successfully enroll, they get a screen with the last sentence stating, "Successfully completed the Question and Answer Registration." Is it possible to modify that to also say that the user may "now close the window using the 'x' on the upper-right corner of the screen"? I believe the name of the html is "QARegister"

Force users to update their details before they logon?
We are evaluating a number of self service products, we also have ADManager Plus. My questions is a number of your competitors have a pop up screen once a user has entered their userName and password that forces them to update their details and can not be cancelled. This function is very useful as it increases accuracy of the data in AD and can be run periodically or on a one time basis. I have used the self service portal in ADManager Plus but only find 30% of users update their own information.
Automatic Redirect on Sucessful Reset?
Lets say a user get's directed to the Self Service site from our HR system... Is there a URL variable that I can send that then sends them back to that system after a sucessfull reset of their password? Or...worst case... can I edit one of the jsp files... say ResetResults.jsp to have some links at the bottom for the user to navigate back to a list of systems... Free Edition - Message States that License Has Expired
We purchased the Full Version for 5,000 users. I would like to keep the Free Edition running in our test environment. I confirmed that the license has been converted to the Free Edition. It has the annoying message at the top that the license has expired. Is it possible to make this message go away?

Hi, I'm getting the error "The selected container(Domain/OU/Policy) is empty i.e. Email Id not found for the Users." when trying to send enrollment notifications. The containers I'm trying to select have at least one user with an email address in the AD "E-Mail" field. Is there something else I need to configure for these users? How to log in from another page

Hi Team Our client has a few questions on AD Self Service Plus There are 4 domains currently added to AD SelfService Plus for testing purposes. When I attempted to search for a valid and enrolled user account in 1 of the added domains, the result is empty. I only managed to search for a valid user account from the domain the hosting server is joined to and my current login account is created. What's the criteria for a succcessful domain account search for all domains that are added in AD SelfService
GINA/CP Installation failure
When trying to perform the GINA/CP Installation on some Windows 7 and Windows Vista machines, I receive this error message: Couldn't copy ADSelfServicePlusClientSoftware.msi to UCADMIN$System32.The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. I had no problem installing on my machines (XP and Windows 7). Any thoughts?

ADSelfService Plu administrator enrollment
When I add my domain account as an admin of ADSelService Plus, I do not get the enrollment page when logging in like a regular user. If I try to reset or change psswd it tells me "You have not enrolled for this service" but I never get an opportunity to enroll. If I remove myself as admin I get the enrollment page. If I enroll and then re-add myself as an admin, it deletes my enrollment info. So I guess I'm confused on what I'm missing? I have force enrollment turned on. It's a 2003 AD domain. Is
