Hello, I am getting a restricted access error from students who are enrolled and from those who are not enrolled. I can not figure out why both are giving off the same error.
Cannot change font for "Sign in" Box
I have set the font for everything to Arial but I cannot seem to make it work that the "Sign in" Box shows anything than times new roman. Which file do I have to alter to set Arial? Force Enrollment Script
I recently updated to Build 5325, prior to the updated I did not have the Force Enrollment using Logon Script feature enabled. After the update it somehow enabled this feature changing the Logon Script field in Active Directory for 3000+ from its original entry to “ADSelfService_Enroll.hta” causing a major issue. I would like to know how and why this occurred when this feature was not enabled in the first place. Any insight I can provide to my leadership team would be appreciated.
GINA
Good morning, I am trying to test GINA access to ADSSP. I have tried installing it on 3 different machines, and cannot see it in the logon screen. Am I missing a step? I've copied the ADSelfServicePlusClientSoftware.msi file to the OS and installed it, with no errors. Still I'm not seeing anything. Thanks.
New Technician from Domain?
Hi @all, Whenever I try to choose a new technician from our domain, all i get is a red bordered square and that's all what happens. Maybe you can help me? Here is a screenshot that shows the issue.
Blank display - ADSELFservice plus client software
Whenever user trying to reset / unlock password we will get blank display Port no and URL is correct, same has been tested at other site its working what could causing this issue.
Windows 10 with GINA installed, can't login as 'Other User"
I have a problem where if I install ADSSP GINA onto a Windows 10 machine and try to login as "Other User", that as soon as I enter a single character (no matter what it is), the logon screen immediately resets and goes back to the splash screen with the time. If I uninstall ADSSP from the machine, everything works normally and I can use "Other user" to log in as anyone. Is there a known fix for this? We are on build 5318.
LogJam, RC4 and Forward Secrecy
When I run a security test on my ADSelfService Plus website using https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest, I get the following errors: This server supports insecure Diffie-Hellman (DH) key exchange parameters (Logjam). Grade set to F. This server uses RC4 with modern protocols. Grade capped to C. The server does not support Forward Secrecy with the reference browsers. I can always correct these if I'm running IIS or Apache. However, I can't find the SSL configuration pages anywhere in the ManageEngine install
Admanager plus
We use admanager and admanager plus. I have a user that was in the self service password reset but we deleted her so she could remake her account. Usually what happens is they log back into the self service portal and they can create their credentials again so they can use it.. this time instead they are getting "they have been restricted" and are no longer listed as an enrolled user and no longer showing as un-enrolled simply just gone. They are still active in AD manager and we have re-synced self
Users can no longer login to ADSelfService after domain account attached to service was disabled
One of our accounts was compromised and we were forced to disable it. Later we found out that account was tied to the ADSelfServicePlus windows service. I have created a new account with the same permissions as the old one and attached that to the windows service but we still have the same problem with users not being able to login. There is no error it just reloads the login page. However, when I attempt from local host I get the long error listed below. Please let me know what I need to do to get
Connection problem with GINA link
Hello We have moved our ADSelfServices Plus from one server to another server. The Last server has 3 IP addresses and the new URL of the ADSSP console is https://password.mydomain.com (we changed the port from 9251 to the default port 443) So the console works fine, but the GINA link try to connect to http://password.mydomain.com:8888 The DNS record point to one of the 3 IPs and the good one. Everything works fine, only GINA displays an error when trying to connect to http://password.mydomain.com:8888

Hi there, I'm testing the ADSSP product published behind a Netscaler Gateway. I've got it configured so that when you login, you're presented with a portal page with several icons that use the Netscaler CVPN option to reverse proxy the session. In doing so, I can open the login page and login. I can interact with the initial tab, but clicking on any other tab results in a page that has the following message on the screen Sorry,the page you requested was not found. Multiple ManageEngine software on the same server
Hi guys. A little help. I installed ServiceDesk Plus on my server and it's working, now I want the integration with ADManager, ADSelfService and OpManager but I need to install on the same server ServiceDesk was installed. When I start ADSelfService it throws an error saying pg_ctl.exe doesn't exist or is in use. ADManager works well and OpManager either. Can I install ServiceDesk and ADSelfService on the same service? How? Thanks for the help.

Cannot hide Organization Chart and Employee Search
Produkt Version 5.3 Build no: 5323 Admin -> Customize -> Logon Settings -> General -> "Customize User Logon Page" I want to hide Organization Chart and Employee Search because this should not be available Prior to a Login.. When I click "hide" I get the notification that I should go to "Configuration tag --> Employee Search" which is not present when I search for it. Can someone help me?
Ports to allow GINA/Mac installation through a firewall
Hello, I recently setup ADSS+ on a workgroup server in our DMZ, and closed all but the necessary ports between it and our DCs. Before we locked it down, it was closed to the Internet and wide open inside, including the user VLANs. Since the lockdown to be only accessible to/from the DCs, I am not able to push the GINA/Mac installation to the user VLANs. What port(s) do I need to open between the ADSS+ server and the user VLANs to allow this (and the updates) to run? I suspect 445 TCP/UDP, but
Site page responses
Good morning. We are running ADDS build 5322 (this has been seen in previous builds as well). Two issues, really: 1. When a registered user logs into the site, the status just keeps spinning. If you hit F5 after about 10 seconds, the page will refresh and present the user with their "My Info" page (address, phone, etc.). So the site is taking the credential, but not posting back the page which should be coming up. This occurs both internally and externally, both using the same proxy for access.
ADSelfService with Load Balancer and https
We are trying to setup ADSelfService on AWS. ADSelfService installed on EC2 instance and we put AWS ELB (Classic) in front of the instance. This ELB is only used to serve https from user to adss. However on login page we get problem where captcha image url is using http instead of https so browser does not load this image and give warning of mixed content. Are there any settings that we have to do for this kind of setup so all URL from ADSelfService is https? Thank you in advance.

Hello Everyone! We're using ADSelfService Plus, but periodically randomically it quits and we have to start up again manually. Where can we search for LOGs to try to find clues about whats causing that behavior? PS: we're using free version, in a virtual Windows Server 2008 R2 into VMware. Best, Ellery
Not sending a notification every day
Hey everyone, I have set up the password expiry notification to send daily, but some of my users only get the email every other day or even ever 3 days. Is there a switch that I am missing that allows the email to be sent every day no matter what? Thanks for the help.
Mail Server Settings not displayed
Has anyone else had an issue when they update the domain is no longer displayed within the drop down listing? but all the information is in the admin page. Also when attaching the the database to a new installation the mail server settings and password policy notification information not showing? please see attached.
Windows 10 Preparing Windows hangs
I'm having a problem with the enrollment screen on windows 10 devices. When a new user that is not enrolled logs into a machine it hangs at the preparing windows screen, I've left it for 5 minutes or so. If I press CRTL-ALT-DEL at the preparing windows I can cancel the initial screen that windows brings up then I'm immediately prompted to enroll the user. This does does not happen on windows 7. Also, logins work normally for enrolled users, or users that don't require enrollment. In troubleshooting

HI Team, In our Environment Sophos is being used as an Encryption Software. you have mentioned for Gina agent for Sophos Safeguard Disk Encryption no configuration is required. We are unable to get the RESET/UNLOCK option can you let me know the steps.

Product version: 5.3 Product architecture: 64 bit Build no: 5318 Our domain controller in windows 2012 and Forest function and domain function in windows windows 2012. Currently we have 3 domain controller and in AD self service plus we had entered all three domain controller in domain settings on AD self service plus and we enabling the SMS and Mail notifications while user change their password and during the unlocking.
Account locked email link broken.
Hello, I inherited ADSelfService-Plus and am trying to troubleshoot a problem with the self service locked account feature. I am the one who happens to have my account locked so when I go to self service portal and try to unlock it the email that is sent to me is not showing the link. Also I had a coworker with admin rights go in and reset my password which sent me a temp password. I'm unable to change my password. It will not accept any combination I try. I appreciate any help I can get on this.
HTTP 401 Error on login page.
Not sure what's causing this, but it started yesterday morning, for no apparent reason. The Admin login page still works, and if I turn off SSO and hiding the admin login, it works fine. Except that I really need SSO for this solution to be worth anything to my organization. Any suggestions?
Global personalize setting for technician
Hi Team, As of now for each and every technician(super admin) we need to do manual setting in personalize. Is there way where we can set global setting for this? I do agree if technicians are from different time zone at that time we must need to set manually, what about technicians are from same time zone? Thanks Arjun
AD SelfService Plus URL config
I am attempting to setup the AD SelfServicePlus and am currently having an issue getting to the URL from the workstations. The URL is http://servername: 8888 and on the same location network as the workstations. When I attempt to go to the URL via a browser on my computer, I get the error “Page cannot be displayed.” What configuration piece am I missing? Does IIS need to be setup on the server that AD SelfServicePlus is running on? Do changes need to be made to my firewall for the 8888 port?

GINA Deployment hangs
Hi There I am now frustrated the maximum! I am deploying the GINA APP from the server to the client machines. It hangs on "processing" and that's where it stays. If I check the software has successfully loaded on the machine but it does not update the server with "successfully installed". I have to stop the services, then start them again to then do another deployment. Please can you assist with what I am perhaps doing wrong?

I wanted to update the ADSelfService_Enroll.hta file I have in group policy with the latest version (from the last patch I put on 11/20/2015)- I double clicked it to test it to see what my users will see and that message appears. The group policy version (7/20/2015) doesn't give any message - I'm not even sure it's working anymore. Any help? thank you, Jamie Brewer
Domain status query
Hi Team, I have added domain with user having domain admin rights. IN domain setting status is showing success as well. After that on that user I have given limited permission on AD however in Domain setting status it is still showing as success. Could you please let me know what could be the reason? Please refer the attached snap shots as well.
Password reset reports success but fails to go to DC
When we have certain Domain Controllers set as the first in the list. Password reset will report as success but we can find no matching communication of any kind that we can find. On the other hand password changes work. It appears to only happen to DCs running 2012 and up. v5208 Edit: I am pretty sure my issue relates to to the security patch known issue I am working on attempting to verify it.
