Report Subject field.
Is it possible to change the Subject line in any of the Reports that can be setup in the Scheduled reports section? All I see in the Subject line is "ADSelfService Plus Reports" I want to change that Subject line if possible.
Gina/Credential Provider in Trial
Does the GINA/Credential Provider work in the trial version? This is the main feature I wanted to check out before making a purchasing decision and it is not working on my Windows 8.1 workstation. Several installs and several reboots have not resolved the issue. Thank you, Bob
Accounts restricted to certain machines using the "Account / Log On To / The following computers"
So after some troubleshooting I found that accounts that need to be limited to logon to only certain workstations do not work in ADSelfService Plus. The workaround is to add the ADSelfService Plus server as a second machine under Account / Log On To / The following computers Is there an alternative workaround as this is causing some internal security compliance issues. Hi All, There are clear instructions for upgrading to the latest version of ADSelfService Plus, however we languished behind on version 4.5. The instructions do not say you can upgrade from that old of a version. Can anyone share any guidance? Thx Steve
Hide Admin Page Login Page Issue
I have found that when I hide the Admin login page, the section where a user enters their credentials is missing. If I hit refresh, the credentials section now displays but the rest of the customized login page is gone. Here is the initial look when hitting the page. After installing SSL certificate
Hello, So I went through the process of installing the SSL Certificate and I finished going through the instructions. Before I did that, I also changed the port for SSL to 443. Now I'm trying to access the website for ADSelfService Plus to log in and see if the certificate is working but it will not let me to the site. It is saying this page cannot be displayed. Is there something I should be doing differently to acces the site? Thanks
Installation of ADSelfServicePlusMacLoginAgent.pkg
We installed the ADSelfServicePlusMacLoginAgent.pkg and also gave a server name and restarted the MAC OSX 10.6.8 but the interface of the utility does not come up in the login screen. Any idea if this package is compatible with this OS version? I have a issue that it does not work on MAC Please provide a solution
IE Proxy setting unchecked
We installed ADSelfService Plus 5.0 build 5041 and started rolling it out to the users. We found that after the users enrolled, the Proxy server setting in IE was unchecked letting them free access to the internet. Has anyone else seen this?

Self Update - Photo read only?
Hello, we are running the trial of ADSelfservice. I have a question about the photo that appears on the Self Update page. I would like to make this photo read only. The HR department will be uploading approved photos to AD and we do not want users to be able to change their photos. It appears that there is no option to show the photo, but make it read only. Can you confirm? If this is the case I'd like this to be logged as a product suggestion for a future release. Joe
Search Results Drop Down
Hello, This applies in a number of pages but I'll focus on the one I'm interested in for this conversation. In the Gina Installation there is a drop down to view 25, 50, 75, or 100. I'm looking to push this to over 10,000 machines. (I'll mention the problem with the scheduler in a different thread). Doing this in batches of 100 will take forever. The <select> dropdown has to be in one of the web pages or JS pages I just cant seem to find it. Can you please let me know what page to modify to add
Password Expired / Change
We have a company policy in which the User is notified to change your email password, if it exceeds the time limit, your password is expired so keeping your account blocked. I realized that I can not unlock the account when the password expires, is there any way the user can reverse this type of lock?
Radio Button configuration
Hello, i would like use a Radio button. The user should have the Option Yes and No. If they choose "Yes" I will fill the "Extension Attribut2" with the value "Distributiongroup2". Some new users can't enrol as they are told they are restricted?
Hi, We have applied our policy to two OU's within AD. All new users belong to one or other of these OU's but we are getting quite a few new users who cannot enrol and we are having to manually 'register them'. Why is this happening do you think? Thanks. SSL Installation Error
We have followed instructions in the "ADSelfService Plus: Guide to Install SSL Certificate" with a Comodo PositiveSSL subdomain certificate. The Keystore generation did not report any error and the SelfService.keystore generated was copied to <install_dir>\conf folder. Server.xml has been modified to specify SelfService.keystore and default port 9251. We're able to launch the AD Self Service Portal on the new 9251 port, but the only certificate displayed is the server's self signed certificate, not
The search function in the reports does not work
I am on the latest version of ADSelf-Service 5041. For some reason searching in any of the field in any report always returns nothing. The report itself is populated, such that users are shown and I can export, but when I use the 'Quick Search' it doesn't return any data, even if it matches the users shown just below. Password reset screen on Windows 2008 with rdc with stored credentials.
I've noticed when I remote desktop to a Windows 2008 server with stored credentials that they don't work. I still get the login screen with reset password/unlock account. Is there anyway to get around this. Doesn't seem to affect 2003 servers, they log straight in with the stored credentials.
Adding a DigiCert certificate to ADSelfService Plus
I am trying to add a wildcard certificate to our new installation of ADSelfService and am running into trouble. I am running the following command: keytool -import -alias SelfService -trustcacerts -keystore SelfService.keystore -file myCertFile.p7b After entering the password, I am greeted with this error: keytool error: java.lang.Exception: Input not an X.509 certificate This is a 2048-bit key. ManageEngine ADSelfService Plus Service will not start
This server running on windows 2003 Web Edition service pack 2 shows error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly. Up until a couple of days ago, this service was running without a problem and there have been no recent updates/installs There is nothing in the system or application log other than and error reporting that it will not start. Consistent Problems with updating the logon screen layout
When I make changes on the "Customize User Logon Page" it usually doesn't work. I hit 'save', but only about 1/10 of the time does it actually save the layout changes. Thanks, Daniel

Can I copy a configuration and redeploy it in another Domain? Or do I have to complete reinstall the portal for that domain?
Audit Log Location for ADSelfService Plus
For security compliance purposes our organization has requested we forward logs from ADSelfService Plus to a log collector rather than sending via scheduled reports in email. To do so we need the location/name of the file storing the audit logs that are normally accessible from Reports -> Audit Reports. Where are these logs located? Thanks.

Is it possible to exclude email addresses if I schedule an enrolment email? The email is scheduled for 2300 on a Tuesday, we want to make sure some of the shared mailboxes don't get the email. thanks
Password Requirements do not match settings in AD
Hello, We have a domain level password policy that enforces history, maximum age, minimum age, minimum length, and complexity requirements. However in the self service application those requirements are different, even after manually synching to the domain. Should self service be utilizing the same settings that we have identified in AD, or are the self service requirements separate? Thanks.

I am hoping to manage an ou and have selfservice email out a new password to all of the accounts in the OU every week. The automator in the password policy would do this but it makes you supply a password. I would prefer the password be random. Easiest way to accomplish this?

Gina and windows 8.1
We have deployed Gina via GPO, as we were having difficulty to install from the web tool for all users. This works great for all Windows 7 & 8 users, but seems to install for Windows 8.1 user but doesnt show up on the lock screens any body can help?

Unable to delete security question
Under Policy Configuration -> Security Questions -> Edit I'm unable to delete any questions and I know that some of the questions are not in use by any users (only a handful of users on the system during testing). The error received (when trying to remove any question) is: "Deletion Cannot be performed. Security Question in use by a user." Thanks for your help.

I have entered a value to a question I now want to remove. It is saying can't be deleted and in use by a user. I am the only user and how can I remove the value from this question. I only want 3X secuirty questions and there is currently 4X which is confusing to users. Thanks, Liam
Domain Scan
Is there a way to customize the time that AD Self Service fetches new users into the software? We create accounts nightly and find that the users are unable to enroll right away due to the program not syncing the account into itself. If we could kick off the sync a time we can specify it would be very helpful for our end users.
