Evaulation Period Questions
I have installed a 30 day trial on my admin workstation. I like what I see so far, this seems to be what were looking for in terms of user management and self service helpdesk. I am however going to be forced to sell the system to the management who sign the checks. I'm looking at the 5 helpdesk license, but we would be smart to just do the 10, in any case its thousands a year from a non-profit company budget. I'd like the other involved to try out this system to which is why I am here to begin with,
Bulk User Move to OU with CSV Import
I import my csv with around 3000 users. I then try and move them to a specified OU, but whenh you click apply it just loads a blank page and nothing happens. I know i am doing it right, because if i just select say 10 users from the list and click APPLY to move to OU that works fine. Any ideas??

User's last logon - I don't like "yesterday" and "today", why don't put in the exact date? in the excel report file I must do "replace all", this make no sense...

Computer Inactive Reports - not accurate
Support When I generate a report of Computers that haven't logged on in the last 30 Days (Inactive Computer Report), the Software goes and checks each Domain Controller. O.K so far. I am then presented with a list, which contains some Computers, which I know have logged on and off in the last 30 days. For example, in the list are computers which show the last logon time as May 07, and yet, they were logged onto this week. There is clearly something wrong with this report, and I have no confidence

Hi, Is it possible to string multiple reports together? For example, I'd like to run a report to generate a list of Disabled Users, and then on that list run a report to see which users don't have "Hide from GAL" checked off, and/or another report to ensure they've been removed from all groups. Blank View when importing Bulk Users

Invalid Attribute when Editing Users

Dial-in change for users
Testing the AD-Manager-Plus (4.1.1) , I tried to change the Dial-in option. It can be viewed by: AD-reports=>User reports=>Dial-in Allow Access or AD-reports=>User reports=>Dial-in Allow Deny But I cannot find a way to change it... Can this be done within AD-Manager-plus?
not updating
I have been using ad manager plus for a bit now. From one of the lists, I have disabled some users that were no longer with my organization, however they still show up as enabled in ad manager. I waited for over a week to see if it would auto update/refresh and it never did. I tried to force a refresh/update, but the data is still not updating. Am I missing something?

I am currently evaluating the product to see if ADManager can replace our current vb scripts for report and managing of AD. One of the challenge is to modify the TS profile attribute of specified users. To find the users, I have to create a query searching for users with a spesific existing content in the TS Profile attribute. Exporting reports
I've been playing with the trial of adManager plus. One of the things I am trying to accomplish is to export a list of users and all their group memberships to an xls file. i've generated the report, but when I use the export to xls button all that happens is the active screen is exported (if I set screen to list 100 then thats all that are exported). Its not exporting the actual results fo the report. Am I doing something wrong?

We have extended NmsAuditAPI to audit the clearing of alerts by an operator. The audit() method gets invoked for all the operator actions. Email address format when using a template
I am importing users from a CSV file and using a template. However my problem is as follows: 1. When creating a template, it forces me to define an email format. It won't let me set it to blank. 2. When using the template, if I specify an email address in the csv ("mail" field), it ignores it and always uses the email format it forced me to specify in the template. This means that to import users with specified email addresses, I either have to accept the forced template value, or decide not to use
