Email address format when using a template
I am importing users from a CSV file and using a template. However my problem is as follows: 1. When creating a template, it forces me to define an email format. It won't let me set it to blank. 2. When using the template, if I specify an email address in the csv ("mail" field), it ignores it and always uses the email format it forced me to specify in the template. This means that to import users with specified email addresses, I either have to accept the forced template value, or decide not to use

Approval process for new users
I have a request for an approval feature, where by for example, HR can create users with the utility, but then a manager finally approves the request before it is created. Does such a feature already exist?
Filters on the reports
In the AD Manager Report Reports. It would be nice to have a filter option. For example on the group memebership report, it would be nice to list all memebers of a group but to filter users whom are member of an other group (IT For example) Eric St-Louis
Check permissions on folders
Love the product ! It would be great if I could check NTFS permissions ( ACL ) on folders without supplying a user name first. My question always is .... Who ( users and groups )has rights on this folder and sub folders. The result should then be exported to Excel. This functionality would really add value to an already great product. We need to be able to audit which user has access over objects. You already have report which list what objects a user has access to but I need the opposite. I need to know which users have access to an object. Example. if I have a share named XYZ I need to pull out a report on all the users (not groups.) whom have access to this share and what rights they have. Eric St-Louis
Bulk user update
Is there any way to bulk update all of my users? I have inherited an AD structure where they have not populated much of any user data and I want to get a dump from HR with titles, Managers, locataions, etc and do a mass update of all my user accounts. Can not add groups to bulk users using csv import
Hi, I want to add and remove groups to a bunch of users. When I do this using a csv file I get the error Can not retrieve object from AD Object does not exist or Access denied. But if I put say 5 users in the search field separating them with a comma it will change the groups on all of those users without a problem. I need to change the groups on about 1000 users. I hope this can be solved or I have to find another way. Thanks. Mike
