Evaulation Period Questions
I have installed a 30 day trial on my admin workstation. I like what I see so far, this seems to be what were looking for in terms of user management and self service helpdesk.
I am however going to be forced to sell the system to the management who sign the checks. I'm looking at the 5 helpdesk license, but we would be smart to just do the 10, in any case its thousands a year from a non-profit company budget.
I'd like the other involved to try out this system to which is why I am here to begin with, I wanted to know if its going to cause any problems having them each install the trial on their systems to check this out?
I wasn't sure if I was suppose to install it on a server and make them logins to that or if everyone just installed it on their own workstation? Does it matter? Can several trial installs use the same domain?
I know I could find out faster by installing it on their PCs and just see, however if I install it they will expect it to work lol and I wanted to make sure it would before having a VP standing over my shoulder as I learn thats not possible installing on his PC
Any other feedback is appreciated too, I think this would be a very useful tool for our needs, but I'll need to make sure I sell it right the first time if I'm going to get it approved in budget.
