Cannot get the LCS/OCS attributes tab when create users by using a template
Hi, I have configured the LCS/OCS attributes on my user creation template, but when I create a user by using this template, the LCS/OCS tab is not visible. However , the users LCS/OCS attributes are created. My OCS is 32 bits and my AD Manager plus is x64 . Can you help me Regards
Import and Export to and with Excel 2013
Hello i Need to Export all user in an AD Domain (1000Users) to a csv, then i Need sort and make some changes, after this i would Import the csv File to the ADManager to make some changes to Group, profiles etc. Can you tell me a way that works ? I have tried many ways, but one times, i see only "null" as users, an othertime i have errrors like "At line 966in the file 9values are found against 1values in the Header". Thx for Help

ADManager and Users and computers
Is there anyway to see what user last logged on to a computer? Under all computer reports I have found, nothing indicates what user is using that PC. Also, under users reports, there is nothing to indicate that computer they are using. Thanks!

Purge old deleted PC's servers from computer list
Hi, We have noticed when creating a Serurity / Server Permissions Reoprt that when selecting compuers, the list contains old deleted (decommissioned) servers that are not actually in our active directory list. A lot of these server were decommissioned years ago. Is there a way to puge these old entries ? Thanks Darren
Set Permissions on Home Folder using User Modification Template
Hi When creating a user using a User Creation Template I can use the Home Folder path to configure the location and at the same time set the permissions for the folder. See screen shot attached. Using a User Modification Template I can configure the same path. But the option to set the permissions seems to be lacking. See screen shot. Is this going to be changed? Hi i need a report by company field (in the organization tab on ad) on how many computers they have used ? i need this to setup billing by division on our ad ? all the computers are mixed up per region.
User template not matching between admin and user views
I have created a new user template that includes certain groups and a specific OU. When I go to modify the template I can see the groups and OU properly, see below: But then when I log out from the admin account and log in as my user account I no longer see the same OU or the same groups even though I'm on the same template. In my current ADS scenario, we have OU by the name of each building under the parent ou. In each bldg OU, i have sub OU for laptop & Desktop. Is there a way i can see the number of objects in these Sub OUs.. I mean instead of manually selecting the OU, a summary report for the whole ADS tree willbe advisable Saket.Gadkari

exporting last logon data
Hi all. I am using the Last Logon Finder and have no problem running the tool in our environment. I am running a report for a number of machines (75 PC's) and want to export a report to paper. When I click Last Logon Details I get what I want but in a small window that I have to scroll down through the data. I can't cut and paste, export or print this information and want to print a report or just get it out of there. Anyone know how to? Thanks
Bulk update user properties using CSV
I found the directions in the manual titled "Modify Active Directory Users Properties/Attributes by Import CSV" but when I attempt to follow the directions: Select the AD Mgmt tab. Click the Modify users link under CSV import. Import the CSV file and click OK. Sample CSV file. This will list all users and their attributes. Click update to update the information in Active directory. but I do not see Modify users under CSV import, just Add Users. Am I missing something? My goal is to update the
scheduling a report with customized views
There is not a way to schedule a report to run nightly with customized headers/columns. When I try to schedule a report, there are no options to choose for what columns so when that report runs it takes the report of the last customized view from all ad manager users. When will this get addressed?
Display users and groups as Members of:
Is there a report that will display the users and groups that are members of particular group. The expanded list of users that are members of a group displays only users, I want to go up one level and see them just like in Active Directory showing the individual users and the groups by name that are members. Password reset search results (Adding Columns)
Hi, I want to let our helpdesk staff use AD Manager to reset passwords for students. The problem I have is that when they search for a student by name, the results only show the “Name” and “SAM Account Name” both of which are set as their unique Person Code. Is there a way that you can add columns to these search results? I.e. First Name, Last Name? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks David

Modify users using CSV import
Good day, First off all i would like to say that without AD Manager i would not have updated all off our companies users in 2 days. This software is phenomenal. My question is how will it be possible to update all user's Manager field by only using the modify users function and a csv file. Intergration ADM into SD Plus
We are using both products and would like to have the account request intergrated into SD. It make no sense to have all kind of service requests in one system exept the user account request. 1. Hi, We had subscribe 50 licenses and 2 domains, and we want to add 50 licenses more, so we had subscribe 50 new licences but when i update the licence, the file replace the older one and i got only 50 licenses. Is there a way to add thoses new licenses in AD Manager ? Regards.
Mail enabled group

List only Member Servers
Is there a way I can get only member servers? If not how about ALL servers. When I go to AD Reports and Computer Reports I see Domain Controllers but not member servers.
ServiceDesk Settings
I'm trying to configure these settings, but keep getting this error: Unable to fetch values from ServiceDesk Plus, the server might not be running or the network traffic may be too high. The authentication details requirements are unclear as to what needs to be put in these fields. The username hint says [For Active Directory Users, user the format DOMAINNAMEUsername] but no matted how I format it, the same error occurs. Can you advise what needs to be in these fields please?
Populate Office, Titles, Department, etc through tables?
Is there any way to link certain fields to tables in AD Manager? We have hundreds of office locations and it would be great to have them selectable so we can keep naming consistent. Can you link fields in AD Manger to separate tables?
Script used to generate report in ADManager Plus
Is there a way to see the exact script that's used by ADManager Plus to run reports such as All Users? I need to provide this for audit purposes, in addition to the actual user list. Thank you.
User Creation Reviewer
Currently when requesting a user creation the reviewer and executor has the ability to edit any field except for the custom attributes fields. It seems odd that these fields cannot be modified when being reviewed.
Duplicate username suffix
When creating a new user account and the username (ex; moorec for Charles Moore) is already in use the only option in ADManager Plus is to add a number to the end of the name (ex; moorec2). Is there anyway to alter this so that it automatically adds letters from the user's name? So instead of moorec2 we'd get moorech, or if there was already a moorech we'd get moorecha?
What ports/services need to be allowed through a firewall to add an extra Domain to AD Manager Plus?
I have allowed the following ports/services through our firewall but still cannot add a second domain. If I allow all ports and services I can add this domain without a problem, but our company security policy does not allow us to set it up like that. Need the specific ports/services.

There isn't a Container option in the ADMP modification templates. Is there a way to modify the Active Directory user object location in the modification templates?

Running powershell scripts
Hello everyone, Im new here so please be forgiving for me ;) Currently Im in process of testing ADManager Pus (I have trial version) for our company. It really have nice features but I found a few things which are crucial for us. Maybe those features will come soon or maybe a bit later but we cant wait. Question about a template based off of the office field in AD
I am looking at using this tool but seem to be confused if the tool will allow a template or automation off of the office field in AD or OU the user is being created in. What our environment has is a job title configures some user groups and the job title field I thought I could use a template for this but we have several other groups, home folder, company, department, etc. that is set off of the office field in AD. Is it is possible to create a template and then add this based off of another template

I'm creating bulk distribution groups. Attributes are: name,samAccountName,DisplayName,description,groupType,targetAddress,msExchAdminGroup,mailNickname The groups are being created as "universal distribution groups", however there is nothing populating the email address field in AD or the primry SMTP address in Exchange? What am I missing?

I have a csv file to create bulk distribtion groups. Attributes are name,samAccountName,DisplayName,description,groupType,targetAddress,msExchAdminGroup,mailNickname. I'm using goupType 8. The groups are creating as universal distribution groups. However, the "email address" field is not populating in AD and no smtp address is listed in exchange...so the groups can not be reached via email. What am I missing??
