Permission issues with Home Folder on bulk creation

Hi there,

I'm having some problems with the home directory/share permissions as follows. (Running Standard 6.1.0 - 6120)

AD Mgmt>User Creation Templates>Created a new template...

Accounts Details>Group/Profile.  Set Home folder as follows:

Connect: Z: \\SERVER\%username%$

Permissions - Ticked the ' Inherit from parent the permission entries that apply to child objects. Include these with entries explicitly  defined here.' option so  %userName% is given full control as well as those already set on the file server parent folder where the share resides.

Ticked 'Create New Share'
Server Name: (SERVER)
Local Directory Path: M:\Files\Users\Pupils\1999\%username%

The batch create users with this template s uccessfully created the user, but the error I got was:

" Successfully Created the User. Error in Creating Home Directory, Error in Setting Folder Permission,Access is denied. - Error Code : 5"

It creates user folder in the right area ( M:\Files\Users\Pupils\1999\99bloggsj) but the share is never created on the folder (should be \\ZEUS\99bloggsj$) and the NTFS permissions are never set, either  99bloggsj or any inheritable admins, etc.

The AD Manager software runs on the same server as the fileserver  and the user set in the Domain Settings is a domain admin so has full permissions.

Am I missing something obvious here with either the version of AD Manager Plus or the permissions it uses to on the server?

Any ideas would be very helpful .

Regards,

Gareth
