Multiple Google Apps Domains?
I'm looking at purchasing ADManager Plus specifically for the Google Apps account provisioning feature. In our case we have one Active Directory domain (which syncs passwords using ADSelfService Plus) and several Google Apps domains. I want to know if ADManager Plus can provision in multiple Google Apps domains based on the OU where the account is created. For instance... If I create a new user in AD in an OU named "Example A" I want ADManager to provision an account in Google Apps domain ExampleA.com
ADManager Plus + ServiceDesk Plus Tight Integration

I'm in an environment where a legacy program that required local admin rights has gone away and I'm looking for the best way to remove local admin rights my users have to their pc's. We have close to 300 machine and in lieu of going machine to machine, I was hoping ADManager or another ME tool could assist me.
Adding a technician and unable to locate the account
Hi. Our AD Manager admin left the company so I'm assuming admin duties and just trying to figure a couple things out. First roadblock I've hit is with adding new technicians to the system. I can search AD but can't find my IT staff. It looks like the search is limited to certain OUs. And yet my name is in the list and I'm in the same OU as the others I'm trying to find... How was it set up initially? Is there a way around the OU restrictions? Thanks! Keith
AD Manager Plus import / export facilities
Hi, I saw that software has a facilty to import csv files with user details per existing tab. Does the software allow to export the data of the users existing in the AD. The best function for me would be to be able to export and import all the fields (empty or not) for all the users. Is this possible or will this feature be available in the future? PS i have just started evaluating the software & maybe considering to buy it.
Home folder creation
Hello, I'm trying to configure ADManager to automatically create the HomeDirectory when we create a user. This is the result: Share: \\server.domain\user$\username Home folder: P: \\server.domain\user$\username This is what we want: Share: \\server.domain\user$\username Home folder: P: \\HOME We don't find how to fill a Home folder different than the share name as the solution do it in one box (see attached). ManageEngine AD Manager Plus Won't Start
The ManageEngine ADManager Plus is not starting in our environment. It runs for a few seconds then stops with following error:- EventID: 7024 Source: Service Control Manager The ManageEngine ADManager Plus service terminated with the following service-specific error: %%4294967295 This seamed to occur since we tried to install as a service from batch file that came with install:- "C:\ManageEngine\ADManager Plus\bin\admanager.exe" ADSM.bat -i A restart of the server hasn't resolved. thanks

ADManager Plus - laggy
Hi there, We are looking to purchase ADManager Plus. However, there are a couple of teething issues we would like to iron out first. Seems the web interface is very laggy. Sometimes it's fast for small periods of time, then other times it takes quite some time to load a page. It's running as a service on Windows 2012 R2 VM with 2 vCPU and 4GB Mem. When we add the right in our HelpDesk Role the HelpDesk Manager see all HelpDesk Technicians (including ADManager Plus Admin). I want him to see/create only technicians with a specific role we chose. Problem with Database restore after update to 6360
Hi, I have attempted to upgrade our installation from 6251 to 6360 today. I've followed the instructions: Stopped the service Backed up the database Also made a copy of the product folder Installed 6.3 Then installed 6360 These steps have all gone fine. However, once I attempt to restore the database, using restoreDB.bat, I get the following error: The backup file is not compatible with the current version of ADManager Plus. Any suggestions? Currently the "Printers Report" is not available to be scheduled. This would be a helpful report to schedule for once per month so that we can keep track of our network printers and their configuration. Could this report be made available to be scheduled in a future release?

Remove and not replace unwanted characters using a naming format.
Hi, i'm trying to remove some special characters like the apostrophe which by default is an acceptable character for the logon name. I'm able to replace it with something else but this is not the result i want. Ex; the user John D'amour with my current naming format will have for logon name d'amojo But it must be damoujo or damojo I tried to trick the umlaut table but i can only replace it and not remove it completely. I already tried replacing with a space as the spaces are trimmed, invalid character
Using DNS to point to my AD Manager Plus server
I have AD Manager Plus installed on a server on the network. And I want my administrators to be able to use a DNS to reach and logon to AD Manager Plus webpage on the server. (DNS record called "admanager.mycompany.com" pointing to that server.) But how can I configure the AD Manager Plus on my server to answer to that? I can point to the server with my DNS server, but not to the port that I have on the AD Manager Plus port= :8080 Is there a way to configure this?
Name Changes
When I made changes in AD Plus Manager for first name and last name. It got changed but when I search with new changes, that user does not show up. I can search with user name and it will pop up or I used old name and I can get the user account information.

Special Characters not being imported correctly
Hi, I am currently modifying some user account information and there is a é in the text when I go to import throught CSV import I get a weird character in the place of the é. When I check the Active directory once imported I have a � in it's place. I currently have the newest build 5240. License not working after server and Java upgrade
Upgraded the host server to win2k8, upgraded Java to the latest version. Now, the server is giving me invalid license file errors on startup, but we just relicensed in October 2015 for another year. Any assistance is welcome.

33 GB+ of .txt files in \temp\reports folders - Can they be deleted?
I have noticed a large amout of .txt files consuming over 33 GB of space in the following directory: \ADManager Plus\temp\reports\ADSMUserMemberOf\ The files have the following format: ADSMUserReportResult_nnnnnnnnn.txt (n=random numbers). My question is - can these be automatically purged out or manually deleted? They date back 4 months. Any help is appreciated.
Custom template not the default
As an admin when I goto ADMgmnt-->"User Creation Templates" I see my (currently) one custom template (which is default) and no other templates. However, when a regular technician goes to create a user, they are give the "System Template" and have to manually change it to the other template. Is there a way to remove this system template or another way to set it so that my technicians get the default template that I configured?

I'm trying to run a report in admanager plus that will give the users manager, and the custom attribute I've created works to some extent- when I view a single user the field shows up and is properly populated. How to move files - folders and maintain NTFS and Share permissions?
