Hello,
We would like to move Shared folders (Home-folder) on a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 from one location (X:\Users\Home\<department>\%username%$) to another (X:\Users\Home\%username%$) by maintaining NTFS and Shared permissions. In the past when these Home-folders were created they choose for putting them in 'department' sub-folders, now we want to undo this and put these Home-folders straight under X:\Users\Home\.
Can somebody tell me if possible with ADManager Plus? I already look but cannot find.
I tried many different solutions (e.g. robocopy) but they only maintain the NTFS permissions, not the Shared permissions.
I hope there is a solution without adding all the Share permissions manual per folder.
Thank you.
With kind regards,
