Summary Report?
I frequently run a user and computer account deletions from a CSV file outputted from ADmanager's inactive user/computer report. Would it be possible to have a summary report after bulk deletions? Like 400 accounts processed, 390 accounts deleted, 10 failed. Its not very feasible to scroll through the summary for confirmation.
Incorrect/Missing Domain Controllers
Hi, we have ADManager Plus (5.2.0) which is all up to date. The problem I have is that we have many more domain controllers than I get in the computers, domain controllers report. The computers that are missing from that report are in, just not showing up under domain controllers. Any ideas? Thanks.

Custom Report Question
Hello, I need to create a report which shows who last logged in to a computer on the domain. It needs to show all computers and the username of who last logged in to it. I guess this is done by adding a custom attribute to the Last Real Logon report to show a column for the computer hostname but I'm not sure how to do this/what the attribute would be. SID search capability in ADManager?
Hello. I would like to be able to search files and folders for orphaned SID numbers. By this I mean cases where a userID that had been specified in the permissions of one or more files/folder has been deleted, leaving the SID (e.g. S-1-5-21-82229999-149888222-etc) to show in the file & folder permissions. I don't find this capability in ADManger but wanted to make sure it isn't there and I just didn't find it. Does ADManager have this search capability?

How to put a check in the "Hide from Exchange Address Lists"
Hello, i've poured over all the options thats at hand, but can not come up with a way to do mass hiding disabled accounts from exchage global address list using this software. I can disable, move to a different OU, add a field i need in Exchange Advanced Custom Attributes. But can not Hide from Exchange address list. The closest thing i found was offline address book but thats it. Does anyone have a clue as what i can do? Thank you, Jim
AD Objects accessible by Accounts report for Groups
Can AD Manager Plus search for a group's rights/permissions when using the "AD Objects accessible by Accounts" search? Currently when I run the report based on a group, I get a "No data available for the specified criteria" error, but the search works fine for individual accounts. If so, can you force AD Manager Plus to search just the group's permissions? Or is it checking the permissions for everyone in the group? Thanks! David
How do we setup emailed reports for ADManager Plus 5.2???
Hello, We are running the ADManager Plus 5.2 free version on our network and we would like to know how to set up daily generated AD reports from each of the AD reports from the canned AD reports on the dashboard to be emailed to us? I have searched around and could not find a feature like that. Is that included in the free version or do we need to bump up to the professional version? Bulk User Modification - email address
We needed to populate our user's email field with their 'account name' but options only include their firstname lastname combinations. When we used the 'SMTP Format' it populated with the correct username but it added a prefix of SMTP: to the account name, which caused an issue with user's receiving mail from outside our domain. Is there another way to pull just the account name to populate this field?

Group Members report no longer allows selection of a Group
Before running the report, I need to select the Group for which I am interested in finding the members. There is a box with the text NONE in it and to the right of this a button labelled "Select". If I click on this button to select the group a dialog window appears with the text "No Groups Found" appears - despite the domain having about 12,000 groups in it!. I keep getting an error when I try to add myself to a domain security group. I am a domain administrator so rights should not be a problem. Limit Dashboard Information
Is there any way to limit what shows up on the dashboard for a technician? For instance, I have created a user that can only Reset Password, Unlock Account, and run Group Membership Reports for their OU only. However, when I login with this tech's account, the dashboard shows more than I want this person to see. Not all of the areas have actual numbers in them, but this tech can click on Number of Groups and even though it shows zero, it will list all groups in the domain. I would like to limit

We are currently evaluating ADManager Plus for user creation. We have several extended user attributes in AD that we have added to ADManager Plus. These are text (CHAR) fields and binary (true/false). We have added the attributes as Custom Attributes in ADManager and they show up on the Modify User screen. Creation of users on a Hosted MS Exchange setup
Hi, Can manageengine create users for a hosted exchange setup? We have this setup: HostDomain.com and hosted domains company1.com, company2.com When we create users for company1 company 2 etc, we notice that the Logon name(pre-Windows 2000) cannot be modified and is set to "HOSTDOMAIN\" instead of "COMPANYn\". Using a "Super Admin" you have the ability to go AD Mgmt, Modify Exchange, Disable/Delete user mailbox. But how do I give those rights to a non Super Admin? I created a Role called Exchange Management and tried multiple combinations but can not seem to find anything that allows the non admin to disable the email box. Computer Specialist can not see accounts in other OU's
We are a school system and we have computer specialist at each secondary school. We have rolled out ADManagerPlus for them to reset passwords for their students. They only have rights to their schools OU. We are finding they go to reset a password and get user not found. They go to create the student account and it states that one with that student id already exist. Now they have to call us to move the account into their OU which is what we want, we don't want them moving students between OU's but
80005000 error on bulk import using csv and template
Hi, I am currently evaluating ADManager and am having problems doing bulk imports of users using a csv file, sample: sAMAccountName,givenName,initials,sn bloggsf,fred,,bloggs It imports the CSV file ok and I can see the user details, I can either select a template, or leave template blank and set the OU. Then when I click Create Users some of the attributes for the users show as null and I get an error, e.g. User Name Logon Name Password Status null bloggsf null Error In Creating User,Unknown Error
