User Creation Reviewer
Currently when requesting a user creation the reviewer and executor has the ability to edit any field except for the custom attributes fields. It seems odd that these fields cannot be modified when being reviewed.
Duplicate username suffix
When creating a new user account and the username (ex; moorec for Charles Moore) is already in use the only option in ADManager Plus is to add a number to the end of the name (ex; moorec2). Is there anyway to alter this so that it automatically adds letters from the user's name? So instead of moorec2 we'd get moorech, or if there was already a moorech we'd get moorecha?
What ports/services need to be allowed through a firewall to add an extra Domain to AD Manager Plus?
I have allowed the following ports/services through our firewall but still cannot add a second domain. If I allow all ports and services I can add this domain without a problem, but our company security policy does not allow us to set it up like that. Need the specific ports/services.

Modification Template Container
There isn't a Container option in the ADMP modification templates. Is there a way to modify the Active Directory user object location in the modification templates?

It would be good to add an OU Container option in the ADMP User Modification templates. This already exists in the User creation templates.
Running powershell scripts
Hello everyone, Im new here so please be forgiving for me ;) Currently Im in process of testing ADManager Pus (I have trial version) for our company. It really have nice features but I found a few things which are crucial for us. Maybe those features will come soon or maybe a bit later but we cant wait. Question about a template based off of the office field in AD
I am looking at using this tool but seem to be confused if the tool will allow a template or automation off of the office field in AD or OU the user is being created in. What our environment has is a job title configures some user groups and the job title field I thought I could use a template for this but we have several other groups, home folder, company, department, etc. that is set off of the office field in AD. Is it is possible to create a template and then add this based off of another template
Create Bulk Group
I'm creating bulk distribution groups. Attributes are: name,samAccountName,DisplayName,description,groupType,targetAddress,msExchAdminGroup,mailNickname The groups are being created as "universal distribution groups", however there is nothing populating the email address field in AD or the primry SMTP address in Exchange? What am I missing?
Creating bulk distribution groups
I have a csv file to create bulk distribtion groups. Attributes are name,samAccountName,DisplayName,description,groupType,targetAddress,msExchAdminGroup,mailNickname. I'm using goupType 8. The groups are creating as universal distribution groups. However, the "email address" field is not populating in AD and no smtp address is listed in exchange...so the groups can not be reached via email. What am I missing??

Homefolder creation using User Modification Template

Running a Group Report based on security group gives me number of members in that all groups. Is there a way to get names of all members ? I need to export CSV for each Security Group along with names of members. Thanks

When a requester with the User Creation role creates a request to have a new user created they are provided a list of templates to use. We only want them to use our custom user creation templates. Is this possible?
Organize Group Membership Reports by Group
Hello, I received a request this morning for a listing of the members of each of about 75 AD groups. Using ADManager Plus, I was able to pull create a list of user limited to those group, but the output was in a single "pile" of users. Is it possible to alter this report (or create another report) to sort these users by group?
Loading computer list...
I'm currently trying to generate the computer list from the user management > Local User Management section of the software. The loading bar gets to the same point everytime (about 1/8 through) and then stops. I have left the process running for about an hour now and still nothing has changed. Is there something i'm doing wrong? Under the 'Credentials' section the domain has listed the correct domain and ive entered an admin account into the username and password.
Can only export "All Users" report as CSVDE
Hi ADMP team, When I try to export the "All Users" report, a new IE window opens with the address http://localhost:8080/Report.do?methodToCall=exportReport&reportType=csv&reportList=true but the file download dialog box doesnot appear. Only export as CSVDE opens the download dialog box. What is causing this please? Thanks for your help, Pete Smith.
Active directory templates user member of?
I was wondering in the AD 360 application. I read there are templates for creating bulkusers etc. But i can't seem to read anything about the user groups. Is the following possible Create a template with the normal attributes (phone, manager, ...) but also the security groups where the user has to be member off. i'm thinking in the lines of one template per department. So when i create a new employee of the financial department, i start with the template "finance" and this template is a member of
Create folder in Profile Path when creating a new user
Does anyone know of a way to setup ADManager to actually create the folder specified in the "Profile Path" field when creating a new user? I thought there may be a way to get a script to automatically run when creating a user which would do this, but am not sure how to get that setup. Any tips would be helpful! Thanks!

Daily Report list of computers in OU
How can I receive a daily report with a list of computers in a particular OU? I would also like to monitor this OU and send an alert every time a computer is placed in a particular OU? We have policies to seperate virus infected computers into a particular OU to change their security until the virus issue is resolved.. Can we set up auto reconciliation process on AD manager?
Hi, Currently we are using AD manager to export AD accounts for manual reconciliation with the HR list. Is there anyway we can get AD manager to do the comparison for us? ie.. if we have a facility to upload a temporary list of "approved users", AD manager can run the comparison and display the list of discrepancies. Mandatory Templates for User Creation
We have user creation templates and want the selection of one of these templates to be required when creating user accounts. When users login and select "Create Single User" they are brought to the User Profile page. We have given them the ability to select templates, but we want it to be mandatory for them to use one of the custom templates we have created. Is this possible?

creating bulk emails
Hello, I am trying to use a CSV to create multiple e-mail accounts, about 150, but when i put in the CSV i get an error that says Cannot retrieve object from AD - Object does not exist or Access denied. Now i know that all the accounts were created in AD and i have Admin rights on the program. does anyone know if it is the way i am setting up the CSV or is it have something to do with the program?
