Rules Engine Filter by EntityID
I would like to create some monitors that apply to all Non-VM servers that are running Windows. My though would be to do this though the rules engine as their is no "not a vm" device template. However there is no way add criteria in the rules engine to filter by VM or Not VM. Using the REST api I see that the status of a device as a VM is set in the field EntityID. I would like to request that a criteria for EntityID be added as an available rules filter. I would be a lot to use the rules engine
Create Custom WMi monitor that can be applied via Rule Engine
I would like to create a custom WMi monitor that can be applied via a Rule Engine rule. How can i do this there is no option under Monitoring \ Performance Monitors to create WMI monitors. i could create them on the individual devices but i want to apply to multiple servers based on weather or not a service exists on those servers.

Monitoring stopped. Only few devices are collecting data. Check "Devices/Monitors by DataCollection Failure" widgets under System Performance Dashboard to analyse the problem.
Good morning, We are having a constant issue with our OpManager 12300 stopping monitoring. I have rebooted and cleared message and it will reappear within a couple hours, if not straight away. I have a suspicion that it is caused by one WMI query but i am unable to track down which one. The logs are two big to attach here so can you provide the link for uploading it via FTP? Many thanks
Bandwidth Report- PDF Option
In the Bandwidth Report when I click on the "PDF" button the report saves as "application/octet stream". I've tried both Firefox and Internet Explorer, neither one will save the report as PDF. We are on build 12300 and need the ability to save the reports as PDF.

Unlimited VM monitoring in 12.3?
In version 11, we had a license for unlimited VM monitoring in the Essential version -- OpManager would automatically provide the performance info for all VM's without requiring any credentials except the VCenter host. In version 12.3, it seems this is completely disabled (unless I'm missing a setting somewhere) and any VM's now require some credential and an IP address to monitor which uses up a license. Is this intentional or how do I go back to monitoring all my VM's without having to provide

Attempted AppSMS setup, serial modem now not working
Windows 2008 R2, OpManager 12300 with SQL Database I tried adding an Android phone using AppSMS and couldn't get the phone to be recognised by OpManager as connected (Motorola Moto G4) Anyway, since removing it, the Nokia phone which is currently connected as a serial modem no longer works either. The Nokia is showing as connected. Device not monitored
Hi, I recently set up a number of monitors for wireless access points so that we would know if they were up or down. One of them is currently down and I knew this when setting up the alerts but wanted to test how it alerted. Whereas the others are saying 'clear', the one circled in the attachment says 'device not monitored' when you click into it yet on the map it is green as if it is up and pinging. How do I amend this to show that the device is actually down?

Server encountered RTO from opmanager everytime CLI credentials/monitors are added
We decided to configure CLI monitors in our Linux server to get the correct partition value. However everytime I'm adding the CLI credentials from the device snapshot it became unresponsive but from OpManager server only. Hope you can provide inputs on this. Thanks in advance :)

CSV Import - Cisco Router Device Name
Hi I'm trying to import devices to OpManager build 12100 via the CSV method which is working but I'm hitting an issue with the DeviceName. Instead of using the DeviceName entry I have in the CSV it's adding the devices with the device name set as the hostname on the router plus the domain name from the router. Monitoring VMWare guests with WMI
Hi, I'd like some help with the following issue. We're implementing Opmanager in our VMware based environment. We intend to monitor our VM's with WMI through the ESX hosts. VM's are in different VLAN's than the Opmanager host machine and not reachable with ping or ICMP. Devices are discovered through the ESX hosts or Vcenter and I can activate the monitoring. I've found several other discussions concerning URL Monitoring of https sites with TLS 1.1 or TLS 1.2. We are running the current build 12.3 and need to know the current status of this issue because it's appears to be unresolved. I attempted to setup two monitors this morning for a site using TLS 1..2 and neither monitor worked.
Adding WMI monitor to device template
We've created a device template in Settings > Configuration > Device Templates and are trying to add WMI monitors to this template. We're able to add SNMP monitors but there aren't any WMI monitors in the list. Please advise how to add/associate WMI monitors with a Device Template. Thanks.

I've been informed by my security team that they have detected traffic from our OpManager server to all of the clients on Port 20, the originating port on the OpManager server was 44858. I have several DBs. Most of these are having Log Files Used Percentage lower than 50. One of these has about 98. And I have _Total as 97. I wonder how the _Total counted and if there's an option to monitor without this confusing element. Edit: After shrinking the log of one of the DBs from 98 to 75% the _Total changed to 11.
