Unnecessary alarm on OpManager
Hello guys, Everytime i login to one of my routers i receive tcpconnstate alarm. The following: .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.9.3.1.1.322.1: 5, tcpConnState: 7, .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.6.1.1.5.10.10.14.9.23.10.10.14.8.52268: 4284, .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.6.1.1.1.10.10.14.9.23.10.10.14.8.52268: 174, .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.6.1.1 I tried to create trap processor for it but so far i'm not successful. So how can i tell OpManager to receive the trap/notification, but do not generate any alarms? How can i do that? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello I am new to Opmanager I have installed it and discovered our network. I have managed to group my servers. I have followed the SNMP guide and configured SNMP on my servers. When i go to the server in opmanager and click on the server the next screen it goes to says the following: Status message Unable to find the object: (My server name) How do i get this working?
Problems with CPU utilization in all linux servers
Hi, OpManager shows N/A utilization for the resource monitors like CPU utlization in all the linux Servers. Monitors are added and the graphics not showed . I have added more monitors and these show information The test not showed the commands to use. Adding custom monitors for new device template
I've got a couple of devices that I've added templates for and I need to add some custom monitors for them as well. As far as I can tell, the only way you can add a custom monitor is to select the OID from the MIB tables that come default with the OpManager MIB Browser. My problem, however, is that the OID's I need to add are not in any of the pre-loaded tables. Is there a way to add my own monitors with OID's other than the pre-loaded ones? Thanks Joe

Hello All, We have an Enterasys Matrix N7 switch core in our LAN but when I added the switch in the Opmanager the device was not recognized as a switch neither the vendor Enterasys... the SNMP community is configured OK. hi right now i'm using the trail version of this software. i've installed it in a computer in a domain. i installed the snmp services on the other computers in this domain. but the problem is that the software can't see any snmp service running on any machine on the domain except my computer. are there any solution to this.

Once user credentials have been added to opmanager, I would prefer that the "For First time users" help field be removed from the default opmanager login page. hi, I am using build 7024. On the overview page when I select any date range less than 7 days ( yesterday, today, 12 hours or 24 hours) the availability graph only displays as 'X'. Discover Servers Using CSV file
Hi I created a list in a CSV file with 450 servers. 300 of them are already discovered in OPmanager. I upload the file select the fileds and after a lot of time of activity it displays that 450 Servers with OS Windows 2003 are ready to be imported. If i expand the list i see all the names of the servers. I select import. and It finishes that very fast without errors but the servers are not discovered. I still have 300 servers. I've just install OpUtils 5 and play with it for a while, but didn't find alerts configuration option. For example: if errors appeared on Cisco switch interface then send email-alert to designated email-address. Can it be performed with OpUtils 5 or any other software from AdventNet?
