Network Configuration Manager SSH Connection Error
Hi, I am trying to configure NCM to connect to a Cisco 2960 Switche via SSH however when I test Credential it shows me that not even the 22 port is open. When I see the logging on the Switch says the following error: SSH2 1: no matching mac found: client server hmac-sha1,hmac-sha1-96,hmac-md5,hmac-md5-96 Is there a way to configure the ssh client that ncm use to connect to the switch? or how NCM configuration works for Cisco Switches Connections Note: I can successfull connect Via Putty to that

Apologies if this is asked in another thread as all I found pertained to SDP. Other than using variables, is there a way to change the layout/format of the email template? The message setting is duplicated below that section. Would like to be able to change the layout as desired.

Roadmap for OpUtils
Hello. Can you provide some roadmap for OpUtils? Is the product today, as good as it is going to get? Or are you still working towards getting the product up to the standard of previous versions before the new path of plugin for OpManager? I am getting a bit frustrated waiting for updates of the documentation and the outdated how to videos. Please tell me that there is a version waiting around the corner that has all the old features and then some... and that you have rewritten the documentation

Opmanager is not showing the custom date stats values whereas it shows today,yesterday,1WK etc., values. Service restart didn’t help us. Is there anything i need to make it work ?

Add Custom Device Icons for Business View Maps
Support, I am currently running OpManager version 12.3.091. Could you please assist in providing the process required for uploading custom .PNG images for device icons in OpManager and which .XML file needs to be edited if necessary? I find the device icons included in OpManager to be very limited, so I'm ok with adding my own -- hopefully in a future update you could provide users with a larger selection of icons or even provide a method for uploading custom icons via the WebClient. Hello, I'm running OpManager version 12300 (64 bit). Trying to get CPU and Memory Utilization for a device F5 Big-IP 1600 and Cisco ASA 5555-x. If i ask our support OpManager in Indonesia, they said i need MIB or Device Template. It's a multiprocessor device. Has anyone gotten these devices to work? Thanks.

Issues adding a Cisco Catos based switch to NCM
I'm trying to add a Cisco Catalyst 6509 to OpManager & NCM. The device is discovered correctly when I add it to OpManager but it fails to add to NCM even though the tick box to add to NCM is ticked. when I try to add it to manually all goes OK at first. I can select the correct vendor & device template (Cisco CatOS switch) etc but on the next screen when I come to select protocol I only get the options of "Telnet-tftp" or "ssh-tftp" - The device is only accessible by telnet. Hello How can I set up that opmanager starts to send email notifications when vmware datastores size goes under threshold. I can put it to create alert in web only, but there is no option to add notification profiles to device.

Performance Monitors / monitors
We need to report when a device has fell behind on firmware, most SNMP records report back as strings. I can see that your defaulted fields correctly convert to numeric so why don't the custom performance monitors do this: Example: D-Link DSR1000ac OID - .1.3.6.1.4.1.171.20.3.11.1.4.1.1.4.0 This reports firmware 3.11 But the performance monitor converts this to 3 which is useless We need this to convert the string properly ie 3.11 Also we have the Billion 8900AX The firmware comes back as string
Is it possible to rename a dashboard, and/or reorganize the widgets within?
Good morning, I'm currently trying to rename a dashboard within OpManager, as well as organize the widgets on screen in a desired order. I'm only able to find the option to a) create a new dashboard, or b) add widgets to the existing dashboard. This is on build 12200. According to the documentation at http://help.opmanager.com/edit_dashboard_layout, I should be able to use the Actions drop-down menu, but I can't seem to track down that particular menu. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

We have many Billion GWs (7800VDOX) deployed and need to monitor their interfaces adding as an SNMP with public community it comes up successfully however unlike other devices added there is no data on the network interfaces so we cannot monitor port traffic activity. SNMP is matched but test credential always failed
hi, my client having a server with Windows server 2008 OS, and i set up the SNMP community strings on that server so that i can monitored with OPManager, but there is a problem when i want to test credential which is always failed, whereas, the community string is already same between OPmanager and the server and i the firewall setting on the server is allowed (SNMP). is there any posible cause ?? thanks
Is it time to upgrade or replace?
Last year we tested out the latest version of Opmanager at the time. It had too many issue for us to make the upgrade. At the time we decided to look into alternatives. Now we have the funds and the decision needs to be made for us to either upgrade or replace. I would like to know if some of the issues we had have been fixed? 1) Can non-snmp enabled devices be added? We could not get them to add when we tested. We have a lot of devices (100+) we only want to monitor with pings. They do not support

OP manager 11.5 widgets and correct oid for centos servers
I manage several centos servers, apparently the widgets display a different value it goes to show they might be using a different oid for example memory utilization is different on a linux environment thus it will show 99% utilizationn thouhg we all know that linux machines handle memory in a different maner Plus the built in snmp monitors are wrong, we had to create custom moniotrs for it to work is there any way we can correct this

We have recently enabled SSL encryption for connections on our SQL Cluster. However, in doing so it has broken our connections for OpManager. Is there any way to set OpManager to enable encrypted connections on it as well?

Hi, We have an issue with one of the subnet. One subnet is showing size 1073741822. Not sure where did it appear from as no switches/routers added in OpManager got this subnet defined. We tried deleting it, but the operation goes forever. Any idea how we can delete it. Thank you,

The opmanager (11600) that we used was installed on a new server. when installing to the new server, select PostgreSQL as its database and complete the installation. We can not add the backup file we got from the old server to our new server. Why is this problem causing?

Hi after i backup data and restored to a new opmanager server my switches interface's graphs have nothing to report ad show me "No Data" instead of this in,performance report also show me No data available in this period when i change the period to data before my backup everything is ok but after that is nothing also i try to add a new device but the new device also interface graphs has no data what ca i do for this problem?
