Postpone reboot...
Is it possible to increase the time to postpone a reboot up to 8hrs. Right now users get the option to postpone for min 15 min - max 4hrs. We would like to give the option to postpone for up to 8hrs. Reason being, developers certain users are very sensitive, if they are interrupted or "constantly" prompted every 4hrs to reboot if effects their productivity. This way they can postpone for their 8hr workday and reboot in the evening. Thanks.
Patches failing to download
Hello I am seeing a portion of the patches I need not being downloaded - most download successfully, but there are quite a few that fail. When I download them manually, however, by clicking on the link in the Patch ID window, I am able to download them to my computer. Please advise.

Hi, I am going to deploy patches to our Windows Servers. They get patched only every few months so there are quite a number of "missing patches". Last time I did this, the patching process took several hours which "destroyed" my time table. Hi, on thuesday I deployed all available, new/missing MS Updates to our Win7 client testgroup. Before deploying the patches, I manuall ran the "Sync Patch DB" task. Security Update MS16-077 (WPAD) missing from DC?
Good Evening, I've come across something strange. After running Nessus on our workstations recently, we found none of them had the MS16-077 Security Update installed on them. I thought this was strange since virtually all our computers showed as Healthy with no missing patches in DC. So I tried searching for the patch in DC but it wasn't there. How to request certain software be patched?
Hello, is there a process I can go through to request that certain software receive patch support? There is actually one in specific and for patching on a Mac - Adobe Creative Cloud. Currently we are still having to manually connect with half a dozen users every few weeks or so to update all their creative cloud software. I know Adobe has something we can set up but it would be better to keep everything central. Thank you, Charles
Advice with using Desktopcentral for Patch Management
Hi, We recently had an external audit of the machines on our network for security vulnerabilities and they found that there was a couple of updates missing on our machines, MS KB3125869 & MS KB3116180 which are covered under the MS15-124: Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer update. When we ran the patch scan on Desktopcentral and it didn't pick up this vulnerability. Can anyone suggest the best way we can use Desktopcentral to ensure that these types of vulnerabilities aren't missed
What's happening with iTunes patch support?
It would appear that you guys have not released a patch for iTunes since October 2015. I have just spoken to one of your support techs, today, who said it is a known issue because Apple changed the download link from HTTP to HTTPS. I pointed out that a similar download issue with Java, just a couple of months ago, was fixed within days. However, the iTunes issue hasn't been fixed for six months, so far. Can we please get some better commitment from the DC team, on a fix date, for this please?
Clients are not automaticly selected (as target) in the configuration (Patch management) after upgrade to V 92063
Hi, I have a small problem after the upgrade from version 92041 to 92063 (DesktopCentral). When I select a patch in the patch Management and click "install" the "Install/Uninstall Windows Patch" window appears. In the old version all names of the selected clients appear in the section "Define Target". But after the upgrade this field is empty. Set a duration for Automated Patch Deployment
I would like the ability to set an duration for the Automated Patch Deployment tasks. Many of our computers are laptops and customers will be gone off our network for 3 or 4 days before returning. I would like to be able to set a time limit on the length of time that a task waits to run. For example, allow the patches to retry for up to 24 hours after it begins in 1 hour increments. ran into a recent problem with downloading patch associated with KB890830-X64-V5.34.exe (Patch ID: 20328). this is causing patch configuration jobs on windows 2012R2 servers to fail because it can't download that patch. this means i have to go back and remove that patch from the list of patches until i run into the next patch that has this problem. can you clarify what i can do to resolve this issue permanently?

I am wondering if there is a variable that can be called anywhere in desktop central that displays the last time a users machine connected directly with central. I want to create a notice when a user has not connected in 30+ days to receive updates, but I do not know if there is a variable or a log that can tell me that.

Patch already installed -- but Desktop Central try to install with Fail
Hello, I don´t know, if there is a way to suppress such warnings or better question, if there are patches already installed, why try the Desktop Central to install such Patches? No missing OS patches?
I'm using the free/trial version of Desktop Central & yesterday when I ran a scan it reported back that none of the 8 machines I scanned needed any OS patches. Up until then, it had been working perfectly. Hi, We are trying to patch our machines on the network through Patch Management and have setup a deploy patches after hours with automatic reboots. Our issue is what happens to laptops that are taken home overnight and reconnected to the network in the mornings. Automatic approval of specific patches
Hi, I've created an automatic deployment configuration for Flash, JAVA and browsers, so that the clients are scanned on a daily base and updated immediately with new critical updates.However, as far as I know, the automatic deployment doesn't do anything for as long as these patches are not manually approved. Am I wrong or is there a way to circumvent this? I don't not want to auto approve ALL the patches automatically.

Best way to uninstall KB3035583 (GWX) with ME DC
I've already successfully deployed the Reg tweak (and dozens of other DC configurations and deployments, not a total noob) to disable the Get Windows 10 (GWX) updates, per the Microsoft KB. However, I also need to remove the entire KB3035583 since it is nagging our users still (even though it's disabled and won't allow the upgrade). I have been unable to do this, since this KB is not listed in my ME DC patches for uninstallation. I've also tried a simple one-line batch with the WUSA command that

I read a few posts that Linux was on the roadmap for quite some time now. Does the current Linux agent support patch management? We don't have an immediate need and it's not easy enough for me to test it just yet. Last time I tested I believe it only did inventory. Thanks.
