Troubleshooting steps for SAP Server/SAP CCMS Monitor addition

SAP Monitor addition gets failed due to the following reasons.
  1. User Name / Password is given wrong
    1. Check the username and password in SAP Server Logon
  2. User account locked - Too many failed attempts : (Need to unlock the user from SAP Server)
    1. In SAP Server - Use Transaction code - SU01 and enter the username
    2. Click Lock/Unlock user icon
  3. User don't have sufficient privileges (Pre-requisites are done partially/ not done)
    1. Assign sufficient privileges. Refer here for the steps
  4. RFC port is blocked - Default Port : 3300
    1. Need to allow the port from SAP Server Installed Machine
    2. Port must be opened (inbound & outbound) in firewall to enable access
      1. To verify the RFC Port follow below steps
        1. Open SAP Management Console  -> Expand the SAP Instance and select Access points -> Check the port of Protocol 'RFC'. Refer the attached screenshot (SAPMMC.png)
  5. SAP Server (Host/Port)  is not reachable.
    1. Check if the SAP Server system is Up
  6. Logon Client/ System Number is given wrong 
    1. Check the provided Logon Client and it belongs to the given SAP Server System
  7. SAP Jar is not placed in the correct location
    1. Check if all the jars are placed under working/lib and restart is done
    2. Check the version of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable package Refer
Possible reasons for Data collection failure :

1. Host information not found for the server. Entry in etc/hosts is required - Refer 
2. The OS collector (SAPOSCOL) is not running. Operating System metrics will not be collected - Refer
