IP Whitelisting Guide for Mail Servers

IP Whitelisting Guide for Mail Servers

IP whitelisting is generally required in ServiceDesk Plus Cloud for sending or fetching emails only if your organization is using an on-premise mail server and has firewall restrictions in place. This ensures proper communication between your mail server and SDP Cloud's mail fetching/sending services.

For standard users of Microsoft 365 or Outlook on the Web, IP whitelisting is not typically required. However, there may be exceptions based on your organization's security configuration, custom connectors, or mail flow setup.
