How to enable granular timeline details specifically for the User Work Hour report when exporting

Objective

To enable the option in ADAudit Plus that includes detailed timeline information in exported User Work Hour reports, showing the precise start and end times of active and idle hours instead of only total hours.

Prerequisites

You must have administrative access or operator role in ADAudit Plus to enable this settings in ADAudit Plus web console.

Steps to follow

  1. Log in to the ADAudit Plus web console using an account with administrative privileges.
  2. Navigate to Configuration in the left navigation pane.
  3. Select Alert/Report Settings.

  4. Enable Show granular details in the exported User Work Hours Report.

  5. Click Save changes to apply the setting.

Note:
This setting applies specifically to the User Work Hour report. Without enabling this option, the exported report will only display Total Hours. When enabled, the export will also include a breakdown of:

  • From and to times of Active Hours

  • From and to times of Idle Hours

 Validation and confirmation

  • Export the User Work Hour report after enabling the setting.
  • Open the exported file and confirm that it displays the detailed timeline with start and end times for active and idle periods.

 Tips

  • Enable this option if you need detailed records for time tracking or compliance audits.

  • Clearly label exported reports to differentiate between summary-only and granular versions.
