How should we transition our technicians from one domain to a shared domain?
Hey all, Currently our MSP is on its own domain (company.local). We have decided to get rid of this domain and instead start using accounts on our parent company's domain (corp.company.com). How should we go about this? I know we will need to use the shared domain option but I don't know what to do beyond that. Thanks!
Service Category - Empty
When I click NEW INCIDENT, and my "Accounts" dropdown says ALL ACCOUNTS, Service Category has the default selections such as Application Login and Communication, but once a select a Requester name and the "Accounts" dropdown changes to that account, there no longer and Service Category selections...how do I get the default Service Categories to stay as a selection?
Can one a requester in one account be a part of an approval process in another account?
I would like to set up a workflow wherein a requester in Company A submits a new hire hire form which requires sign off from an approver in Company B. Is this possible? I know how to do this within one account using the Service Workflow settings but wanted to know if it was possible to set up cross-company approvals.

Service Plan Monthly Allowance
Hello it does not seem possible to enter half hours in the monthly allowance for a service plan. We want to bill a client with 12.5 hours a month and it will not let me enter 12.5. Is that a feature or a bug? Running 8304 Thanks John

Currently we have SDP MSP set up with the Managed services accounts and the infrastructure teams accounts. I can set all of the managed services accounts to "refer default settings" so that all my business rules, support groups, and other settings are all easily changeable. I want to merge them in one but each department wants its own dashboard and reports and all departments are using the same domain for example acme.com. Reports in Excel
I have exported my report to Excel but the gridlines don't show up. I went to Page Layout and checked the Gridlines to View and Print but it won't do either. It will let me change the sizes on the columns and rows but not add gridlines. Any suggestions
Backup files don't get deleted
Hi everyone, is there an issue with the deletion of old backup files? We have configured SDP MSP Standard 8.3 to retain backups for 7 days and write backups to a custom path. The backup files are written correctly but it seems as if they don't get deleted. Thanks Helge

In Admin / Account Details / Contract Billing I do not see how to modify name and/or amount of the Available Tax Types. Is this a bug or I am missing something? BTW: I was expecting to see something that could give me a "start date " option so I can schedule in advance the new tax.
Limit Technician to set request to a specific status?
Hi All: isn't possible to limit the technician to set the request to "Close" only? (not to resolve). I would like limit the technician not to close the request but set the request to "resolved" once the resolution provided. the request should only closed by user or the system. thanks. ChuSoon
how to remove a customer account (but there are active agents SD)?
We finished working with one customer. Unfortunately, we can't uninstall SD agents in the company now. How I must remove the assets assigned to this customer / account (reduces the license Number of Assets) ? How can I delete the account, but to I want to see the history of the requests and works log for this customer account ?

Default Timezone and Date Format
Is there a way to change the default timezone so that when we create a new requester they get the correct timezone date and time format without having to go to personalize. We have found this to confuse some users.

Assign Ticket to site based on To Address
We have created alias email addresses to send to for different sites. We create a lot of the tickets from our MSP email addresses. Is it possible to send an email from our MSP email to abc@ourhelpdesk.com and have it assigned to the ABC site? Then send an email to DEF@ourhelpdesk.com from the same MSP Email address and have it created in the DEF site? This email would be coming from our MSPemail@ourhelpdesk.com email address. Right now it looks like the ticket is created under our MSP site. Thanks,
Schedule unavailability by time
Is there a way to schedule a Technician as unavailable based on the time of day? We have a contract with a client that requires a technician on site daily from 8AM until noon. I'd like to reflect in the schedule that the technician assigned for that day is at the clients during that time. The only option I find for scheduling requires a full day. This is only for 4 hours a day. We also schedule technicians to go to clients days ahead of time for an hour or two and I'd like this to be able to be reflected

Hi, I am looking for a way of having an account requestor receive the request notification email when one of their requestors creates a ticket. basically i have 1 requestor who can view all the requests for their account. Is there anyway that the technician can see the timer in the request? Currently the technician doesn't know how much time left after start the timer from on hold status.
