How to modify custom reports and custom alerts and is there an SQL Query Wizard
Did a thread search and didn't locate an answer, so i am starting this. I've already configured a custom report for our distribution servers, however, there are a few fields I need that aren't available. Currently, the Sub Module is set to Computer. (Is there a way to select from multiple Sub Modules for one report?) I have selected my criteria for searching ad have selected my columns. The report is nice, it's scheduled for daily email. Feature Request - Recurrence options for preventative maintenance tasks
Hi, I'd like to request that additional options be added to the recurrence options in preventative maintenance tasks. There are specific tasks that we perform as a helpdesk on a monthly basis but don't occur on the same date of each month. i.e. The 3rd Thursday of every month. The options I'd like to see added are as follows: Weekly: Add the ability to run every 2 or 3 weeks Monthly: Add the ability to run on <#> <Day of the week> eg. 3rd Thursday of the month Add the ability to run on First or last
DC-Server Web console starts on login
Hello, It seems I have a bug since the build 323, although I uncheck the "Start Web Console on Service Startup" on the tray icon of the DC-server, I keep have the web console opening on logon. I see in the registry (HKLM) that the setting is not set when unchecked, and is visible when checked. I updated to build 342 today, no change. Is there a way (another registry setting I don't know) to prevent the web console to open on logon? Thanks. Sylvain

I am looking to implement an automatic password reset plugin to automatically reset modem passwords using a custom application written in C# and Selenium Webdriver but am not sure how to obtain the resource properties as arguments (ie resetProps.get("OLDPASSWORD")). My end goal is to set one of the extensionAttribues to TRUE when a user password is expired. I'm trying to use the 'Expired Password' report as the source, but the column header in the report is "SAM Account Name" (w/spaces) I need it to be "samaccountname" (without spaces) so the automation can read the field as the target to modify. Is there a way to change the column header field when exporting reports? Thanks!

I know DC can push inventory information into SDP, but I feel like this isn't leveraging a lot of the functionality within SDP for asset management and more regular updates and asset association. How is everyone else with the two solutions managing their endpoints? Both Agents? Is this supported/preferred?

Hi, I've been struggling with getting Desktop Central to use the correct IP address on the machine it's installed on. It also runs VirtualBox so it has an interface for that and Desktop Central want to use that IP as the address it starts on on the real interface address. Auto Assign tasks to Load Balanced Technician
Our end users will be able to put in a request through a request template. So when they do, we have that template on submit assign a technician group to load balance. This one does have an approval. But, even though a technician gets assigned, the tasks don't get assigned to that same technician. We want it so when a request is put in, the assigned technician gets assigned or made owner of that particular templates tasks. How? or Why can't we make that happen?
