Hi There used to be an option to configure some Microsoft Office Communicator settings while creating the user account. The version of AD Manager I am running now does not have it anymore. Now, we have upgraded to Microsoft LYNC, and tomorrow morning I will upgrade to AD Manager version build 5013 following with the SP to get Exchange 2010 options, and I was wondering if support for configuring accounts with the settings for Microsoft LYNC is going to be in the future version of the AD Manager
Display description field associated with the Category / Sub-Category / Item in request form
I've very important instructions stored in the description field associated with the Category / Sub-Category / Item. But unfortunately these descriptions are not displayed (except in admin module). One of the issues I am facing currently is with the views - it is not possible to have a view with mixture of 'and' and 'or' statements as it seems. I was trying to update our Service desk plus and follow all prerequisites below. select Globalconfigid,category,paramvalue from globalconfig where category like 'WoToCIMigration' and parameter like 'IsCompleted'; select Globalconfigid,category,paramvalue from globalconfig where category like 'CONVERSATION_MIGRATION' and parameter like 'IS_CONVERSATION_MIGRATION_COMPLETED'; all param are "true" but still having this error.. Patching to a Custom Dynamic Group
We name computers a special way. Anything that ends in "-TC" is a "Thin Client". These machines can be patched and rebooted nightly. So i created a dynamic group matching on "Computer Name" ends with "-TC". I have then two patch policies. One that's "Patch Nightly with Reboot Prompt" and the other "Patch Nightly Force Reboot". Win 10 In place upgrade
Hi all, I would like to use desktop central to manage computers in our esports venue. Right now we only have 21 PC's but we will be upgrading eventually. I would like to be able to "refresh" windows on the machines without losing installed programs etc. Would I be able to use the OS deployment to do the in place upgrade or is that beyond it's limitations. I've assigned x_manen_medc.DCIntegrationUser role to the ITIL group but members not able to see dashboards. Also, DC dashboard has several UI pages that also restricted by roles: "Security constraints prevent access to requested page" What roles should use for non-admin users in Desktop Central application? Need Help With Incident Template > Field and Form Rules

Field and Forms Add Options to MultiSelect Field
Have 175+ items I'd like to add to an "Incident-Additional Field" Instead of adding them one by one. I was planning on using Field and Forms and upon Form load, add in the options. (Imagine typing in and managing these fields with 175+ values manually) According to the help, it says I am well within the range of having up to 25,000 items. Attachment is missing in notification email received when assigning a ticket to Technician
I installed a free version (Stand Edition service desk plus) on premise. When a requester send email with attachment it is receiving in Service desk portal and able to view it. Administrator is assigning that ticket to a technician by logging in to the portal(server where it is installed).The assigned technician is receiving the email notification (in outlook) but without attachment. Hi, I have now set up a test user to show our company how this works. I have gone through the enrolment for hte user and registered fine. Whne I try to use teh reset password option I answer the security questions and enter the captur image but when I click reset password it says access denied. The application is running under a service account so does this acconut need to be a domain admin?

hi , I face an issue with Managed domain , every day when the DC scan the system will found new domains and install the agent automatically . we have one domain (KAMC-RD) , the DC found 2-3 Domains ,when I delete the Pc't that install agent on other domain and delete others domain next day will recive same issue , how can we block DC to scan other domain ness to install agen to our domain only and not install the agent to other domain . thank you

The above update is failing on all test machines. According to Microsoft, this patch has now been superseded by KB4489890. However, this new patch doesn't seem available for download. It's not listed anywhere within the Patch Mgmt. system. Is this still being tested on your end before releasing?
