Problem removing URL monitor
Hi, I used to have a couple of URL monitors in opmanager with "&" signs in the monitor name. When i deleted the monitors, opmanager told me it successfully removed those monitors, but apparently did not. When i go into the admin panel, url monitors, those monitors still exist. Also the alarms regarding those url monitors can't get wiped, very innoying, i already tried restarting the opmanager service, but no luck either.
Option to put request OnHold
Hi, I've noticed that the option to close a request is present while viewing the open request. But to put a request Onhold it requires to edit the request and then change the status to Onhold. I feel a simple link should be made available to put the request Onhold, Just like there is to release to queue or close the request. Thanks, Roshan

I have a global catalog server which, a few days after making it an Opmanager client, started getting Event 1053 Source Userenv errors in the Application log. After trying a few things and realizing that nothing on it had changed other than making it an Opmanager client, I deleted it from Opmanager. The errors stopped. I then readded it to Opmanager to see what would happen. Now Opmanager doesn't see it as being SNMP enabled (no star). Also in the device alarms I repeatedly get AuthenticationFailure

Hi, I have problems plotting the IIS current connections. I have the MIB's in place, and i am able to get the value from the MIB oid. The only problem is, it does not display me the absolute value, but the difference between two measure points. Opmanager web interface failing
Hi; I've just installed and licenced the new version (6) of opmanager. however now, after a certain amount of time suddenly the web interface stops working? I'm only accessing the interface from one machine. And I've already uninstalled and reinstalled Opmanager once. If i then restart the opmanager service the website starts working again? Is this a licencing issue? I never had any problems with the trial version of 5.5

Is there anyway to add custom application monitors to OpManager, I need to monitor processes on Solaris 5.8. I read through the forums and found a post where it directed the user to a link on how to setup Linux process monitoring but i need to monitor solaris processes and daemons. How do I do this and have it show using snmp since most if not all of the OID monitors are a graph using a number or percent? I need to check if something in solaris is up or down and if down to send a critical alert.

problem with Windows 2000 Server Std
Hi, i try the free version of opmanager. I've got a problem with SNMP and a Windows 2000 Server. I installed SNMP on this machine and checked the settings for the snmp service (public...) but it isn't possible for the manager to contact them. The communication over snmp with a Windows 2003 Server is ok... What is wrong? simon
Access to OpManager via a firewall
Hi, I've just purchased v6 of OpManager and have a problem trying to access the application from outside our internal network (via the internet). I have configured our firewall to accept port mapping and I think that the first call to OpManager appears to work as I get the login screen displayed. The problem seems to occur when OpManager tries to return the Home page data. Have you got any suggestions on what I need to do to allow me to access the OpManager data from anywhere in the world? Service pack will not update the software
