Netscreen VPN Tunnels - Subinterfaces
Testing OpManager for monitoring our WAN links, especially those WAN links that are tunnels. We use Netscreen-25s.
Problem. What I would think is each site-to-site VPN shows up as a subinterface. However, when discovering each interface, it only shows the parent interface and none of the subinterfaces. Even after loading the Netscreen mibs.
Product limitation?
While I could easily graph the links using custom monitors, the problem is I need to both graph the numbers and show state, ID, and "Name" of each subinterface.
How I'd think it should work is, index 1.1 = subinterface 1.1 and give me all the stats, like Rx and Tx Traffic and errors.
Let me know. We are vigorously testing this for hospital use.
