Is there any way for OpManager to distinguish when a service has "switched" to another server. For example, we have a MSSQL cluster with 2 nodes. there are 2 instances of the databases, each with its own Windows Service (for example: MSSQL$DB1 and MSSQL$DB2). Normally, DB1 runs on server1 and DB2 runs on server2. Let's say that server1 fails (either automatically or manually) and the DB1 gets moved to server2. IS there a way to customize the email template that you send to users when you click on "Reply to Requester" I want to put certain information in each email regardless of who it goes to I can see you can customise the email templates for purchase orders and contracts but nothing in there for requests
Need for report : calls per week and per category
Hi, I need to extract a report showing the number of call per week and per category (or per department). Simple but I was not able to. Does anybody know how to do it? As I was not able I tried to retrieve the data in Excel, using a mysql ODBC link. "Little" issue: dates are defined as longint.... The easiest would be to extract all the calls in a CSV file and not a PDF as now. Then in Excel, everything is possible. Do you have a way to achieve this (CSV export) quickly? Thanks, CEL

SD+/Netflor integration
I can't get the integration piece of OpManager to work with SD+ or Netflow Analyzer. I've tried it with the fqdn, ip address, netbios name, multiple different logins, etc. SD+ has AD auth. turned on. Netflow is just using the admin account. Please let me know what to check on to get this working. Thanks, Neil

How do I notify my Accounts of the Time Spent? I enter the Time Spent on requests (and the Description for the Time Spent) by using the Add Time Entry button. SupportCenter fails to start
I have a serious problem starting supportcenter. Actually I am gettind an error that mysql fails to start. Can't restore my database from earlier version! Urgent!
I was trying to install from 5.01-5.10 and everything seemed to go OK! But the servicedesk service wouldn;t start. Seems a common problem. Anyway I uninstalled and reinstalled a clean 5.10 which runs OK. But now when I go to restore it says it can't restore this version? Man I getting annoyed. I love this proudct but it has its querks. Hello, I'm new to ServiceDesk Plus, I'm evaluating it for my company's network. What I would need is a way to customize the main inventory view for workstations. For example the columns Models, Domain or Service Tag display info that is not useful to me. I would be interested in columns showing Cpu Type, RAM or HDD Model. OPmanager won't shutdown
I tried to shutdown OPmanager running ./ShutDownOpManager.sh from /opt/Adventnet/ME/opmanager/bin and nothing was shut down. I stopped mySQL and restarted it with ./mysqladmin shutdown from opmanager/mysql/bin and restarted it with bin/startMySQL.sh and now can't log in to the web interface. Pulling number of licenses for software out of the database.
Hi, I'm currently writing an SQL script to pull the following information out of the database: Name of installed software, Workstation the software is installed on, first name of the user associated with the workstation, number of copies of the software, number of licenses owned for the software. I've managed to find the first three values in the database and construct an sql statement that pull them out. My problem is I can't find which table the number of licenses and installed copies of the software.

Hello, I would like to monitor free disk space and/or % utilization of all my server's disk drives. I have many servers (> 100) to configure, so I used the "Quick Configuration wizard" to add the monitor -> "Resource Monitors" -> "SNMP based Resource Monitors" -> "Partition Details of the Device (%)". I would like to know if is it possible to do something like this : - i have the opmanager running in port , let's say , 9090 - i have a web server (apache) running in the same host , listening in port 80 - i would like to have a url like http://server:80/opmanager , instead of having http://server:9090 I believe that this could be accomplished using proxypass in the Apache, but so far i could't have working. Cisco 2621XM and 2801 and 2811 Routers
Why can't I manage Cisco 2621XM routers and 2801 and 2811 routers? They all tun IOS 12.3 or better and they all have SNMP enabled. I see it is reading the system info, but I cannot get the config either by SNMP or Telnet? Also, why is it that on some switches - 2948G - it fails on Enable password? On the switch console, I see "user XXX failed to enter enable mode" three times?

Cannot Scan computers!
I am trying to do a domain scan on some of the new machines we have, and it keeps failing! Every time. I cannot for the life of me work out why. It kicks up this message: FAILURE : //TSOL/th20406 : Either access denied for the user or the remote DCOM option might be disabled in the workstation. or one about telnet not being accessible. Change Request - Time Spent
Would it be possible to change the displayed name of the system calculated "time spent" to "elapsed time" (or similar). The time spent is the total of all of the time entries a support reps enters, the time a call is open (the system generated time whilst the clock is running) is NOT the time spent, but is more like the elapsed time.

Hello, What is the aggregated rate for reports greater than an hour old? 1 mnute? 5 minute? Can this rate be changed easily to match customer's reporting need? (i.e if default is 1 minute, can we change to 5 minute) or can we just disable the aggregated rate and use just the raw data? ---Luke---
