Problem importing custom logo
Hi, I'm trying to import our company logo in Self Service Portal but it won't change. I've clicked on Import and Save but it's having none of it. Any ideas please? Kind Regards, Charlotte

Notification Rules - Links broken (?)

Hello, when I moniroting my Oracle 10g XE Database, all Parms are okay. But the count of the database user is only zero. But I have one user at my Database created and an Application and I works on this Application. Why have I zero User ? Thanks
MySQL Database Growing Out of Control
The MySQL Database for Firewall Analyzer has just breached 19GB and is threatening to wipe out the rest of the free space on my Hard Disk. Is there any way to either move or compact the database? I have had to simply disable the firewall analyzer until I have a solution. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.
Custom Service Desk View
When creating a new view on the service desk requests window, I need to see the request number in a specific column. At the moment, all I can do is highlight the field (as shown), and the number is shown. Can someone let me know if I can do this? Cheers, Leo.
Ability to SAVE a scheduled report
We are planning to put on our Intranet some reports related to service support statistics. For that, it would be great to be able to schedule some reports (during the night for example, or every hour) and to save automatically on a specific place, the result of the report in html. Today (Build 6003) it is not possible. The only thing we can do with scheduled reports is to send them by email. Philippe

Good day, In the Release Notes for 7.3, it is said that : - Availability and Health realtime snapshot report for Monitor Groups added Q1) We don't see any difference from the prior version (7201). Can you please tell us how to get this new report and what benefits it gives us? Q2) We don't understand why an unmanaged monitor, or a monitor that cannot be polled (bad password for example), still show up in green. Shouldn't it show up in grey or another color? Monitoring IBM as400 resources
Hi I have an IBM as400 server with OS/400 V5R3M0. I want to be monitored by OpManager. I have the idea that i can achieve this with a telnet monitor, to open the server CLI, execute a command and then OpManager parses the result of the command and saves it to the OpManager Database just to be presented in the application. Also i think i must update the hostresource.xml file where i need to write this commands, and the parsing method. But i have not found these commands for doing this. Do you know
cant load Opmanager on 2003 sr1 server
I am trying to load OpManager on a 2003 server. I have loaded on 2000 and XP machines with out problem. I run the install and when the installer gets to the point where it states it is starting the service it hangs for 4-5 minutes. It then states it failed to start. I checked and the Opmanager and apache for Opmanager are running. If I try to connect to OpManager I get a 500 error in the browser. So then I run \bin\StartOpmanagerServer.bat and the first thing I get is the license screen. I accept

Hello, the price of the actual version for the msp edition is 4995 Dollar, with no aditional costs, just the 995 Dollar for maintenance, the Servicedesk and MSSQL Monitoring is included in that price????...sometimes i dont really unterstand...the price list says just 4995 $ and in the text you talk about some smart addons...but do they cost something???? Generating an alarm if threshold is violated n times
I configured a server to generate the alarm if threshold is violated 3 times to minimize false positive. The threshold was surely to be violated, however it's been days now and haven't receive anything but if I manually test 3 times, I receive a notification regarding the alarm. Please help. Thanks

Gracefully shutting down OpManager I almost verify user group on httpd.conf and permissions, but i have the same problem, i also try to execute OpManagerDir]/apache/StartWebSvr.sh but i don�t have that script, can you help me. We have configured App Manager 7.3 to monitor WLS instances and WLI instances. These instances are both clustered and non-clustered. In no case can we get any details of the servers besides the status (up/down) and response time. I am attaching screenshots. Any help appreciated.

Problem with ssh session
I have problem with script's monitor. I'm using Applications Manager 7300. Scripts run on remote Windows XP through ssh connection. I'm using openssh for windows. The problem is that ssh sessions on Windows are still hanging. I see a lot of cmd, sshd.exe processes under Task Manager. Monitors which making problems are test-tracert, test-tns_ping, test-ping I will send You logs via email. Pawel
Netflow Analyser & NBAR
Hello, we recently upgraded some of our cisco routers to ios version 12.2.40 and now netflow says that nbar is not supported (after the upgrade). this is wrong as from the router i can do a "sh ip nbar stat" and see the nbar is actually working. we are using netflow analyser 5.5.0 build 5503 what could be wrong ?? scott.
Status doesn't update!
Hi all, For a few moths we are using OpManager and sometimes the status doesn't update on a device until i manually update status or rediscover. In some rare cases i have to go to the alarms section and clear the alarm! And another thing: When I Rediscover a device all the historic status is clear, including the "Today's Availability" that changes to 100% available! Any ideas? Tanks, Manuel Pereira.

Hi, Trying to find some documentation on how the security features work but the user guide doesn't mention them at all. I would like to know where the updates brought down for updating one pc are held after the update is applied. Is there a repository held on the central server or on each probe so that the same update is downloaded over and over again for each PC? If so, where? Hello, Where is FA getting DNS info from? I ask because not all IP's are resolving; even some inside my network are failing to resolve. Many work fine though, so I was wondering what the difference is. Thanks!
Reports using specific Event ID
I have a list of Event ID's that I wish to have reports generated for and emailed to me on a daily basis. Something is wrong and not working properly. I click to create a new report. I type a report name and click: Custom Report with Event Filters I click the server group I wish to create the report for and click next... I then select the options and enter the event ID i wish the report to be generated for (SEE ATTACHED SCREENSHOT). At the next screen i configure the report to run daily at 12:00

Do Cisco devices buffer netflow requests? For example, if I need to reboot my netflow collector, would I lose any flows during the reboot cycle?
can't get switch port mapper working properly on Cisco 4507R
I try to use the swich port mapper feature on our cisco 4507 R L3 switch, but can't get any IP address, but if I use solarwinds, I don't have any problem. What should I do to fix this? I'm using OpUtils 4 4300 build eva version. Thanks Thomas

Import Requesters from AD does not work

Hi I've been tasked with setting up some basic reports but cant seem to get them to work using the criteria and options available so perhaps you guys can help. I'm currently monitoring two firewalls and only monitoring the inbound traffic as these sit in front of websites rather than send anything major externally. I'm looking to schedule a report to show basic things like hits on certain addresses etc but whenever i put in the destinations and then add only the hosts i want to see it from it fails.
